Bonchap 9 - LDR
If Keenan and Tessa are busy preparing their baby moon plans, another thing with Pedro who is agitated because he is confused to ask a girl out.
Pedro paced indistinctly with his eyes constantly staring at his phone on the table.
"Come on, Ped! You can be your boss' dating guide, you should be able to date yourself" she said.
Then Pedro grabbed his phone and dialed a number with the contact name Mishel.
But, he came back nervous again and felt his heart racing at a fast pace.
"Is this what boss Keenan felt?" his inner.
Now Pedro knows why Keenan used to look weird because of the symptoms of falling in love. It all started when a new secretary came into the company.
At first Pedro used to see Mishel until one day, he accidentally saw the girl drinking in the pantry and spilled her drink on her shirt.
Pedro becomes a misfortune hero who lends his suit to the girl.
"Isn't my suit not returned?" Pedro had the idea to meet with Mishel.
For fear of mispronouncing while making a phone call, Pedro chose to type a message for Mishel, after it was felt his sentence was strung together appropriately and then Pedro sent it.
Pedro: Good night, Mishel. Are you busy tonight, I'd like to ask you my suit.
A few minutes passed, Mishel replied.
Mishel: Oh, my God. I forgot! Do you want to wear it tomorrow, Ped?
They did not speak formally because Pedro asked for it.
Pedro: Yes, can we meet tonight?
Mishel: All right
Finally they met at one of the cafes located close to where Mishel lived. That night, Pedro looked neat while Mishel just wore sleeping pajamas wrapped in a jacket.
"I was in a hurry so I didn't have time to change clothes" Mishel said, giving Pedro a paperbag. "I washed it clean, thank you and sorry for forgetting to return it!"
"Ehem!" Pedro cleared his throat to look authoritative. "I don't seem to accept your apology!"
"You have to make up for it by accompanying me to eat at this cafe," pinta Pedro modus.
"But my clothes..."
"No need for nice clothes to eat!"
Because Pedro continued to force finally Mishel accompanied Pedro's meal that night.
Although impressed to force the will with his mode, Pedro considers that night he and Mishel had been doing a date.
"Oh yes, this weekend there is an additional fine, boss Keenan will do a baby moon so you have to come with me to escort him" said Pedro when finished eating.
"Attacking Keenan's boss? Isn't Keenan's boss going alone with his wife?" ask Mishel.
"I mean, you're on guard with me, if at any time the Keenan boss asks for something, we should be ready to take his orders and that's considered overtime" Pedro explained.
Hearing overtime, Mishel's eyes immediately sparkled because it meant that she would get an extra salary. Mishel does not realize if it is Pedro's way of approaching even the bonus he will give from his personal money.
Since that night, Pedro and Mishel's relationship became close. Pedro who is usually ogah-ogahan work so excited and pay attention to his performance.
"Your hat, Boss!" exclaimed Pedro while putting a coffee order Keenan on his desk.
"You look so bright" commented Keenan.
Pedro stroked his hair. "I'm an LDR, Boss!"
"The long distance relationship?" ask Keenan clarify.
"Not but that LDR is Weak In Missing!" replied Pedro who was impatient to meet with Mishel today.
