Bonchap 5 - Paranoid
Pedro patted his own eel. "Boss, everywhere that lays eggs is definitely a female!"
"God! It's because I'm too happy, Ped!" Keenan.
"Looks like you're unstable, boss. It's better that I go down, it's just a vegetable salad but it feels like it's going to be a world war!" pedro's comments won't let Keenan make a mess.
"Remember your spell, Boss!" connect Pedro.
Keenan closed his eyes and cast a spell I was cool dozens of times. He tried to calm himself.
While Pedro went into the restaurant and ordered his vegetable salad.
"Two portions, yes," said Pedro who knew if Keenan bought anything in two.
A few minutes waiting, finally Pedro's order was ready, he paid then rushed back to the car.
Looks like Keenan started to calm down inside there, Pedro quite understands why Keenan is like that.
"Would we arrange a schedule for a psychiatrist, boss?" ask Pedro.
Keenan. "No need, I can handle it!"
"But your situation is getting worse, Boss," said Pedro anxiously.
It is certain that Keenan experienced trauma over Tessa's previous miscarriage, the symptoms of which appeared when Tessa was pregnant again. Keenan is always restless for fear that this pregnancy will be the same as before. Tessa miscarried in front of her own eyes.
Paranoid symptoms appear that make Keenan think of unnecessary things like the fetus is not developing or the twin fetus is experiencing abnormalities.
That's why his actions are so excessive when it comes to his baby-to-be.
"It looks like I should talk about this matter to the madam boss," Pedro said. He felt Tessa should know.
Usually Keenan will ask Pedro to go home first but this time Pedro will take his boss and make sure Keenan gets home safely.
When he arrived, Pedro also forced to drive Keenan into the house.
"No mistress boss," replied Pedro.
Keenan went to the room because he wanted to clean up before any physical contact with his wife.
"Thank God, I thought my husband would bring the chef here" Tessa commented as she opened the vegetable salad she had bought.
"Actually, there is something I want to talk about, Mrs Boss," said Pedro, who sat opposite Tessa.
"What is that, Ped?" tessa asked curiously because Pedro rarely wanted to talk to her alone.
"So here's the..." Pedro told me at length about the alleged trauma Keenan experienced.
Actually Tessa also had time to think like that but she tried to pull over.
"It's better that Keenan's boss is quickly taken to a psychiatrist only," Pedro said after finishing telling a story.
"Thank you for your concern, Ped! I will persuade my husband slowly" Tessa replied, holding Pedro's hand. "I pray that you find a soul mate who truly likes you!"
Every time you talk about a mate, Pedro can only sigh. He has not been able to divide his time well so Pedro actually feels anxious if it makes his lover disappointed.
After his business was done, Pedro said goodbye.
And Tessa immediately followed her husband in the bathroom. Now Keenan takes a longer shower than usual.
"Darling?" call Keenan when he sees his wife coming into the bathroom.
"Why is the bath so long?" ask Tessa.
"I have to make sure that my body is clean from the germs attached" replied Keenan who was still rubbing his body.
Tessa approaches and turns off the lit shower. She saw Keenan's reddened body must be her husband rubbing too hard.
"We're okay, me and our baby-to-be are okay" Tessa said in tears. She did not expect the effect her miscarriage would make her husband like that.
