MNB CHAPTER 28 - A Little Cool
Tessa returned to her room in a fit of annoyance. He stared at the reflection of himself in front of the glass of his room sharply. He didn't want Keenan to keep working on it.
"He's getting mean to me!" his gerrick.
The next day, Tessa is determined to ignore Keenan. In addition to work, he will try to get Keenan and Bella closer.
Before the project, Tessa had breakfast with Kevin.
"Bella asked me to help her with the endorse because you were busy, I accepted it" Kevin said.
"I'm going to the project site and I'm going to a meeting with the contractor, maybe we can walk when the afternoon comes" Tessa said.
"See sunset on the beach how?" ask Kevin.
"Good idea, I'll bring my camera!" tessa was impatient.
At another table, Keenan and Bella are also having breakfast together. This time Keenan was so sweet to Bella.
"Try this!" Keenan gave Bella a piece of bread.
Bella is actually keeping her diet but because she is not happy with Keenan, she eats it slowly.
"Oh yeah, I heard there's a festival on Borgia Island. Festival to celebrate their fish harvest, I want to see what the festival is like" Bella said.
"If you want we can go there tonight" said Keenan.
"really? Then I'll wait for you. But..." Bella was hesitating. "We go to a public place, maybe many don't know me but there could be paparazzi catching our portrait!"
"I have no problem with our reporting!" it was obviously Keenan who understood the direction Bella spoke.
Bella develops her smile, so she wishes more on her relationship with Keenan.
"Then I work first!" pamit Keenan by stroking Bella's hair before leaving.
Keenan came to the table where Tessa was.
"Are you done? I waited in the car" said Keenan coldly.
Apparently both Tessa and Keenan are determined not to be too over like last night.
Upon arriving at the project site, Keenan observed the half-finished building.
"Mr Keenan," said one of the contractors.
"We'd better start the meeting" Keenan said.
They all went to one of the rooms to talk about development issues.
"There are some brands already offering to rent a place,"
"They're also scrambling for the most strategic spot, too,"
"Even anyone dares to pay in full upfront,"
Keenan nodded his head. "They know the potential of shopping centers will have a big impact!"
"We need more investors!"
Tessa observed Keenan sitting in front of her, if only Keenan continued to be as serious as that would definitely not look annoying.
"Tessa.." call Keenan. "Why are you daydreaming?"
"I-iya, Boss. Sorry..." Tessa was wrong.
"We have to make a proposal for Flo's company, I want her to plant a stake here and become her sponsor!" keenan.
"Well, I'll make that proposal!" sahut Tessa's.
Keenan then continued his meeting on the materials to be used as well as the required budget.
"I want the best quality, expensive doesn't matter" Keenan added.
"It looks like we're gonna have to survey people on Borgia Island, boss. We have to make sure that our shopping centers are affordable to them so our target is not just tourists" Tessa said.
"Bella says there's a festival tonight, I'll do a thin survey" said Keenan, who began acting in detail.
"While a few seconds ago you looked a little cool, Boss," Tessa commented, shaking her head.
