My Novel Antagonist is My Husband

My Novel Antagonist is My Husband
Chapters 15. Festival

A year later. Alissa is six years old.

Geck! Geck!

“Log in!” I shouted from inside the room, letting anyone knock on the door. I thought Dea had come, but it was someone else.

“Alissa, Daddy is waiting for you--wah!!”

“Oh, Brother Theo!” I approached Theo who was standing in the doorway of the room. The look on his face showed surprise. How not, I appeared before him in a different form.

“Your hair ... white so?!” ask Theo. I held my long hair dangling on my shoulders.

“Oh, this .. color of Kyu's fur. I am transforming with him now,” I replied.

Theo was looking at me. “Do not open the door of the room carelessly. How about other people who see!”

“Hehehe, I thought Dea was knocking on the door, but it was actually Brother!” I cengengsan. Indeed in this house, only Dea and Theo know the existence of Kyu.

It's been a year since I helped Theo get his mystical beast. Now, my stepbrother's attitude has changed a lot towards me. He said hello more often when we passed by the corridor. Theo was still as quiet as he used to be, but at least now he thought I wasn't just a dirty animal. Sometimes, he smiled when responding to my conversation. Every now and then, she also comes to my room like this when there is a need for something.

Theo became a big brother to me. Not infrequently, he wondered about my development with Kyu. Apparently, when it comes to learning something, Theo does not hesitate to gain knowledge and is not arrogant, even though he has to get it from people who are younger.

“You can already transform?” ask Theo. Again he was enthusiastic like this, knowing the development of my strength.

I showed her the white hair that was now on my head. “Iya, new hair parts only, anyway!”

“It's been great for your age.”

Transforming with a mystical animal means uniting the body of the owner with his animal. For the early stages, only a small part of his body has changed, such as my hair. Later if a summoner is more and more good at transformation, his body can change one hundred percent, fusing with the mystical animals he has. It is said to be successful if after the union, his heart and mind can still be controlled like a human.

So, if anyone sees a tiger walking around the city and speaking human language, know that he is a high-powered person.

“Solve your transformation, Dad is waiting below to take the three of us for a walk,” Theo said back.

I nodded, then closed my eyes. In an instant, Kyu appeared from inside my body and my hair came back dark brown as usual.

“Alright, Brother Theo, I get ready first.”

When the weekend comes, me, Theo, and Cass will be invited by Dad to tour the city. We will enjoy the scenery, eat at restaurants, or just watch the game of street musicians in the city square. That's what we're going to do today. What's more, there's an autumn festival right now. There are plenty of good food on sale when the festival opens.

I'm down the stairs to the lobby. I saw that Cass was getting ready with a short-sleeved shirt and black shorts, as well as shiny black shoes. Theo himself has worn a long-sleeved light brown shirt and black trousers, plus a matching colored vest.

“Hey, you are old!” cass yelled at me as soon as he saw me approaching him. I was wearing a light blue dress myself. The three of us put on their coats to deal with the cold of the deciduous wind.

“Sorry, there was a little problem in the room, hehehe!” my answer.

Before long, Dad showed up at the lobby doorstep. His face looks a little lethargic. I didn't know what was going on, until Theo asked. “How, Dad?”

Dad nodded weakly. “Your mother still does not want to come with us.”

I've been able to tame Theo and Cass for almost a year. Cass is a little boy who is still innocent in his heart. Cass is easy for me to control when I find out what his favorite things are.

Theo, he's more mature. At first it was hard to conquer his heart. However, thanks to my help in obtaining his mystical beast, Theo is now better for me.

The hostess really thinks of me like the wind. When passing in the corridor, for example, even though Theo hated me first, when he passed at least he threw his disgust at me before leaving. At least, there was one response from him despite the negativity. However, I did not get it from the Duchess at all.

The Duchess did not give a negative response, but also not a positive one. Absolutely zero response. He just thinks of me as the wind. When it passed, the hostess would continue walking without looking at me in the slightest. He never wanted to be in the same room as me. When I was in the park when he was drinking tea in the gazebo, he immediately stood up to finish his tea.

If from Theo and Cass at least I get a response, with Duchess Rinia I don't feel like I'm in the same universe as her.

“What is it because of me ..?” my many. To be honest, I also feel guilty if it continues like this. As if, I took the happiness of Duchess Rinia with her family. But how else. I really wasn't given the chance to get close to him in the least.

Dad came up to me and hugged me. His hand was stroking my head. “Not, Darling. Not because of you. Your mother is just not feeling well. Don't be so moody, yeah!”

Dad tried to comfort me, even though I knew the truth.

“Then, later let us bring Mother souvenirs from the festival,” proposed Theo.

“Really! Let me choose it!” exclaim Cass cheerful.

“But, remember yes, Cass, not your favorite chocolate candy!” chirp Theo.

Cass grunts. “Whatever why! That chocolate candy, right, delicious!”

Me and Dad just laughed at the debate between the two of them.

The journey from the Valcke residence to the capital square only took about ten minutes. In addition to the four of us, there were a few bodyguards accompanying our ride on horseback, in all four corners outside the cabin. A duke must indeed be ready with his bodyguards whenever and wherever he goes. What's more, I'm taking three kids with me right now.

The capital square is indeed a very crowded place, especially on festival days like this. The nobles and commoners gathered together, enjoying the view of the autumn red leaves falling from the surrounding trees. There is a lot of harvest food sold in the booths. There are sweet potatoes, fruits, ready-to-eat barbeque meats, and many others.

There was happiness emanating from Cass' face. My half-brother is a hobby of eating. Even so, his body was never fat because he was too active to move until his calories burned back. When he saw people starting to open their booths and peddle food, Cass immediately darted, wanting to fill the stomach immediately.

“Cass, wait! Don't run!” shouted Theo.

“Be careful, there are many people here. You guys don't split up!” father's Sweat.

Theo soon caught up with Cass who was already in front of one of the booths, waiting for his meal to be served. Theo pulled Cass' collar back to where Dad and I were standing.

“I still want to eat something else!” scream Cass. His mouth was full of barbeque sauce.

“Don't split, you'll be gone!” exclaim Theo. He's starting to look riled up.

“I, right, am not a child anymore!” Cass won't lose. When Theo wanted to debate them again, I immediately broke them up.

“Already. Sis Cass, we will snack with ya, with Dad also.” I tried to calm him down.

Cass looked at me and Dad. He started to give up. “Ummm, alright ... Come quickly! I want to eat a lot!”

“Yes, let's find some good food!” dad exclaimed, greeted by cheers from Cass.

However, not until ten steps we walked, suddenly Dad fell down with one knee on the ground.
