Returning to the present, Alissa was eighteen years old.

I am sure that in front of me this is Mas Dion, my old husband! Actually, what happened?!

Many questions Alissa asked in her heart, with no one to answer. Eighteen years old already, she is separated from the husband who has come to pick her up, trying to protect her from evil even though it is all too late. Eighteen years old, Alissa struggles to live in this new world, while trying to come to terms with her heart, as she knows being devastated that fate will take her nowhere. Although it seems to have moved on, Alissa could not forget the figure of her loving husband who had wasted it.

Now her husband was in front of her, not recognizing her at all. Slowly, Alissa's tears fell down her cheeks. He cried in silence, looking at Rion who was still looking at him in anger.

Seeing the girl shed tears, Rion was stunned. There's something different. She often saw many women crying, but never made her speechless like this Alissa.

In an unconvinced tone, Rion asked, "You why ... cry ...?"

Unknowingly, his hands stretched out, about to wipe away the girl's tears. He immediately pulled out his hand, which was floating halfway up Alissa's cheek.

"Your Majesty, we'd better go back than spend some time here. The marriage decision has been set, there's nothing we can do anymore."

An aide insisted on inviting His Majesty to leave the Valcke residence. Cass seemed to recognize his voice, but his face was covered in a helmet of armor.

Rion turned around, walking over the corpses of Valcke's warriors. Then, he spoke to his soldiers for a moment. "Let's leave this place."

The king left after saying to Theo. "Prepare him in two days" Rion said, pointing to Alissa.

"Mas Dion ... ." Alissa was heard calling out her husband's name, but her voice did not reach the owner of her face.

Then, the most beyond reason. Now, in front of Alissa was a white box floating in the air. Alissa stunned. Many times he rubbed both eyes, clearing them of any lingering cries. But the box did not disappear. Although Alissa had wagged both of her hands, the box was still there. Alissa even looks strange, like she is doing an unclear movement.

"Alissa, what's up?" asked Theo who had been standing before Alissa. The bond in her hand had been successfully released by the Duchess.

"Don't you see this white box?"

"What box?" theo asked puzzledly, he walked over to Alissa, breaking through the existence of the white box that had been floating. There's text in that box. Alissa hasn't read it yet. However, when Alissa turned her eyes to look into Theo's eyeballs, the box disappeared.

"Ah .. does not exist ... ." Alissa blinked her eyes many times. The white box is no longer there.

What was that, huh? Could it be just my imagination? Alissa was still curious. The box did not appear again.

"I'm okay, Mom. Just relax ... ."

Alissa's mind was so upset. Various questions arise regarding Rion and the white box that appears in the meantime. Theo and Cass keep asking the girl what she talked to Rion about saying that Alissa was his wife. Alissa no longer heard all those questions. All sounds were faintly heard in his ears.

Alissa closed her eyes, covering both ears with her hands. Slowly, Alissa walked up the stairs to her room, without hearing anything more.

Rion walked out of Valcke's residence. The whole army followed him. Of all the nobles who were vassals of the late King Eric, Rion had killed them and released only a handful. Rion actually did not expect also if it turns out he did not need to finish off the descendants of Valcke.

Rion took the time to look back, looking back at Valcke's residence. The feeling was not good, when he saw the girl named Alissa. There was something that made the man's chest hurt when he saw Alissa shed tears. However, Rion did not know the cause.

Clearly, he felt something was strange. Alissa seemed to know him very well, but as Rion remembered, she had never met the girl at all before. Her life has been stuck in the streets. He should be able to support himself, fighting since childhood against ferocious monsters. His body was full of cuts. Rion had stopped in this entire region of Glassheight Kingdom, looking for allies. All the cities he had visited, except the capital. So, there was no way Rion had met Alissa before.

However, there was no denying it, there was a feeling flowing within him. Like missing something long gone. Though, Rion had never lost anything, because he had not had anything of value all along.

"Your Majesty, do we return to the palace after this?" ask a female soldier named Mischa. Rion and his army mounted their horses. Before driving the horse, Rion replied, "Yes, I'm so tired."

An unexpected answer came out of the mouth of the new king. Usually, he was always excited, blindly hunting those who opposed him. Now, strangely enough, King Rion could be exhausted.

"All right, Your Majesty." As commander, Mischa ordered the entire army to return to the palace.

Mischa herself was relieved to get out of the Valcke residence. He did not expect that the day they were after was his own family. Mischa would do everything she could to influence King Rion to not kill Alissa and her family. As it turns out, the final decision for them to be released from the massacre was to get Alissa to marry Rion. Mischa said nothing, especially when she saw her best friend crying.

Alissa really didn't want to marry Yang Start to tears like that? I promise, I'll keep Alissa in the palace later, accompany her so she doesn't get lonely. I can also protect her, should Her Majesty be rude to her later.

Mischa swore in her heart. Something different from the plot of the novel has actually happened.

The one who was shocked at the attack on Valcke's residence today was not only Mischa, but also the loyal aide who always rode right next to Rion. This adjutant is very good at swordsmanship and has great magic power. She had been silent since, especially after seeing Alissa Valcke come down the stairs, and stand before King Rion.

This adjutant is named Lucius. He was still very surprised, when he saw Cass appear in the lobby room. He could not say anything when he saw that the sword trainer had to bow curled up and his hands tied by the other soldiers. Cass doesn't seem to recognize him wearing a harness. Lucius did not know what to say until Cass called him.

Lucius was shocked when Alissa came down from the second floor. All this time he never knew Alissa's last name, because for him being with Alissa alone was enough. It turns out that Alissa is the most influential member of the duke's family in the country. She is shocked when Valcke's family agrees to marry Rion to Alissa.

His heart is not willing. Lucius made up his mind, he was going to do something reckless.
