Chapter 6. Light

I could hear the door open. I see, both of Aunt Edma's fat feet entered the room. There was a light in his hand. I can't peek up too much, but I can be sure, Auntie also brought a candlelight chandelier. In this world, because there is no technology, lighting only comes from candles.

“Lho, there is no one here .. but, why is there a candle that has not been turned off?” ask Aunt Edma. He spoke to himself, because right now, I managed to hide with Kyu under the table.

“Maybe my husband, Krish, who forgot to turn off this candle,” said Aunt Edma, then blew the candle I left on the table. Looks like Aunt Edma didn't realize I was in this room either. In fact, the candle that was blown by Aunt Edma I brought it here.

In this novel world, every newly-emerged mystical animal will have one of six elements: fire, water, wind, earth, darkness and light. My imagination of the power of this element was inspired by one of the cartoons Dimas often watched with Mas Dion.

“Alright, you're going to be the light for a while, yeah! Don't be too bright, later Aunt realized there is light in the corridor!” my door. Kyu muffled a little of his body light. Then, in my arms, we both made it back to the room.

Entering the room, I no longer needed the Kyu light. I asked him to return to the spirit world through the same circle of spells as before. The mystical animals can indeed enter into the human world at will. If a mystical animal is injured, then by going to the spirit world he can recover.

This time, Kyu managed to leave from before me, unlike earlier. Apparently, when the atmosphere is calm, my animal is able to concentrate fully and has no trouble controlling its strength.

“Alissa?”

“Eh?!”

Penny who was lying in bed suddenly woke up. The girl rubbed her still sleepy eyes. “You haven't slept?”

“Ah, um... I just went to the toilet for a minute!” my answer. Penny nodded, before long she fell asleep again. Basic, small children are easily fooled.

Now, this heart is calm. An attempt to prevent Alissa's death has been accomplished!

The readers who follow every detail in the story of Knight Lucius will understand that in reality, not everyone can summon mystical animals from the spirit world. Alissa Valcke is one of those characters who has no power at all for it. Then, he died just like that when Prince Rion killed him.

But not this time. At just four years old, I alias Alissa Valcke has a mystical animal. Kyu and I will both practice, so that we can both enter the advanced phase.

There are two phases in the contractual relationship between man and this mystical animal, namely the basic and advanced phases. The basic phase is the one I have with Kyu now. I can ask him to bring out the light element. The advanced phase is when my body and Kyu's body fuse together. In the advanced phase that our strength will both double.

I gasp. I always play and practice with Kyu, I forget that at the age of fifth Alissa, there will be something big in the storyline going on in Alissa's life. Marked by the arrival of a man of Uncle Krish's age. But before that, I have to make sure.

“Who is that guy?” my many.
