Tonight at her client's request for dinner, Sam is getting ready to attend the event. He just waited for Maya alone, while the Ocean tonight is still overnight at Anita's house. Samuel let Maya organize herself in the room, while he chose to wait for his wife outside the room while sitting on a soft chair in the corner of the second-floor hallway of his house.
While scrolling through the screen of his thin smartphone and sip little by little mineral water in his left hand.
"I'm ready, husband." Maya's voice made Sam lift his face.
Awe-inspiring smile was briefly drawn just like that from both corners of his lips.
How he was not fascinated to see the aura of female beauty that although currently pregnant, but the charm of Maya even still emanated strongly accentuate her beauty.
That night Maya wore a very simple dress, still made of chifon flowers small that became her favorite, so soft and light that it made the whole movement of his wife's body look so elegant.
Knee-length sleeveless dress combined with a long-sleeved knitting blazer. Her shoulder hair this time she made curly so it looks more volume, Maya also let her black hair down, just decorated with small pincers shaped daisy flowers. Oh yeah don't forget his favorite flat shoes are maroon. It really makes it look simple but very elegant.
Maya seems to know her position as a Ceo wife who has many high-end colega. Although Sam has never demanded more for her appearance so far, Maya always tried to make her husband not feel embarrassed when she was asked to accompany Samuel to dinner with clients, as now.
"Suami--why bengong? Are we leaving now or later?"
Maya's question made Sam aware of the hypnotic influence of Maya charm.
"Eh-i-yeah we're leaving now" Samuel stuttered. Even Sam could not hide his nervousness in front of his wife.
"Heee.... Why are you, husband?"
Sam smiled for a while, his right arm then he buckled and as if telling Maya to hook his arm inside there.
"You can always fascinate me to see your beauty" Samuel whispered right in Maya's ear.
"Sam ih-ngegombal just his job." Maya smiled blush, even now her two chubby cheeks poking pink and it was not the effect of the blass on that she was wearing.
"I'm serious, baby."
"Hm-thank you husband...." Maya nodded slowly. Now the two look at each other, the same eye gaze radiates love from both.
....
Before entering Dean Sanjaya's five-star hotel restaurant, Sam tightened his fingers between Maya's fingers.
Looking once again at Maya, it convinced her that the woman beside her was now the most precious treasure she had and that she would not let anyone take her from her hands.
"Are you all right, Sam?"
Samuel nodded slowly while smiling at Maya.
"We're in--"
Sam took a deep breath before continuing his steps, entering the star-rated hotel restaurant. The first time they were treated to knick knacks hotel accessories that adorn the spacious restaurant.
One of them is a crystal chandelier that is so luxurious, with some live flower decoration in some corner of the restaurant.
Round table complete with silver tableware neatly arranged with several chairs wrapped around it.
And there was a man who was about twenty-nine years old, but still looked very good looking and able to make any woman would bend her knees to him.
An athletic tall body with a field chest and a pair of bluish iris eyes that are so clear and always stare at the interlocutor with a very sharp and authoritative. The nose soars so haughtily perched and of course is equipped with a pair of thick eyebrows like gull wings.
Sam approaches the men who have been waiting for them, with Maya always in her arms.
"Good night, Mr. Sanjaya." Sam this time removed his handrails from Maya and extended his hand towards Dean Sanjaya.
"Just call Dean, you don't have to hesitate. Let's just say we're two friends who've known each other a long time." Dean Sanjaya welcomed Samuel's hand.
"Oh-and is this your wife? Which makes you more concerned with your promises to him than with work?" ask the handsome man.
With a little bit of a cut on his face, which of course Samuel was trying to hide. Sam nodded slowly then as if telling Maya to introduce herself to her important client.
"This is Maya, my wife." Sam emphasized his last sentence very firmly.
"Good night, Mr. Sanjaya, I'm Maya."
Dean Sanjaya received Maya's helping hand, looking at the woman before him closely.
It made Maya feel a little shy when the two bluish irises looked at her closely.
"Hmmmm....!!"
Samuel deliberately cleared his throat, trying to cut off Dean's view from his wife.
And without Sam guessing, his deheman was quite successful in making Dean Sanjaya surprised.
"Oh-iya-siii-lahan sit-"
Dean stutters with what Samuel did just now, and Dean finds out that Samuel did it on purpose.
The two then sat down after the host had invited them. Maya often felt awkward when she was taken by Samuel to a dinner party with Sam's corporate client, but that's not the case for now. It was as if Maya had gotten used to having dinner with her husband's corporate clients. Maya also occasionally spoke up when her husband's client asked her a few questions and without feeling awkward or groggy at all.
"Oh yeah, you've been married a long time?" dean asked as he lifted the long glass filled with wine and brought it closer to his mouth.
"Nearly five years" answered Samuel.
Dean continued the wine sip before he started putting the piece of grilled meat in his mouth.
"You will never regret it if your company chooses to work with my husband's company." Maya paused for a moment. He smiled for a moment and turned to look at Samuel.
"Oh yeah? Why would that be?"
"Because I know the professionalism of my husband and my husband-sister Samuel Perdana is a corporate leader who works as perfectly as possible in dealing with his clients." Maya continued.
Dean slightly nodded in understanding.
"Do you really understand your husband's work?"
"You mean, madam?" Dean seemed completely clueless with Maya's words just now.
"I used to intern at my husband's company and I became his assistant" Maya explained.
Dean could only nod while chanting.
"You're lucky Sam" Dean said with a sharp look at Samuel.
"You mean?"
"Yes-You're lucky to have a beautiful, smart and charming wife like this one of yours," praised Dean Sanjaya.
Sam only smiled at a glance, without any expression. For Sam when he heard other men praising Maya, it felt like his emotions were overflowing.
"Thank you for your praise" Samuel replied at last. Sam tried to keep his emotions.
"Of course I'm the luckiest man in the world." Samuel this time took turns who grabbed Maya's hand and rubbed it gently.
The eyes of the two of them were also softly linked.
Dean looked at it with a hint of jealousy in his heart. Indeed, Dean did not know the wife of his client, but somehow saw a beautiful woman who despite being two-bodied in front of him at that time, makes him imagine if he had met Maya first. Before she met Samuel.
"Oh yeah how about you? You're not married or--"
"Haha...!!"
Dean cut Samuel's words, his light laughter echoed to make Samuel frown in wonder.
"I'm not married - but that doesn't mean I don't sell, hahahaha...!" dean's laughter again.
"I believe, how could a young businessman, the owner of some company like you not have a woman in your life."
Dean took a sip back of the wine that was almost finished, while making a small grin.
"For me, the woman is like a shoe that I would easily change if I was bored," the handsome Ceo replied with a flat expression.
Samuel did not reply to his client's remarks, he only rang for a moment.
"And if I have to get married later-I hope to someday find a female figure like your wife." Dean continued.
Sam spontaneously stopped the movement of his lips, which were chewing on a piece of steak.
Samuel's hand that was holding a knife suddenly clenched tightly.
"Sam--" said Maya.
Maya tries to calm Samuel, who knows her husband's emotions are rising. Maya grabs Samuel's hand which is nearby.
He smiled gently at Samuel while slightly shaking.
"You take it easy, Sam."
Dean Sanjaya was still casually enjoying the food in front of him back then.
"I'm not that asshole." Dean continued. It was as if he knew what was on Samuel's mind right now.
....
Dean Sanjaya re-accepted Sam's hand in office and returned the favor.
"Thank you for the invitation to Mr. Sanjaya's dinner." Said Samuel who was desperately still holding back his emotions.
"Never be shy, I should be the one to thank you for being present."
This time it was Dean's turn to stick out right in front of Maya, trying to once again grasp Maya's delicate hand with a little mode.
Maya hesitantly accepts Dean's hand, but he quickly abandons the handsome man's hand.
"Thank you, Mr. Sanjaya," said Maya politely, with a slightly bent shoulder.
"Never hesitate, and just call me Dean," replied Dean with a small smile at the corner of his lips.
Sam slightly hissed a little when he saw the business of his client who seemed to be looking for face in front of his wife.
"All right-we'll excuse you first. And I'm happy with our cooperation."
Ah it feels like Samuel wants to quickly get out of there, he is very careless to see a handsome man who is currently focused on looking at his wife.
"Excuse me, good night!"
Samuel walked out holding Maya's hand tightly.
Sam quickly takes Maya out of the restaurant.
"I don't like the way he looks at you like that." Said Samuel flat as he walked towards the hotel lobby.
"Sam-don't say you're jealous" Maya smiles.
Samuel only grunted in small response. How could Maya laugh at her current jealousy, Samuel's inner being was upset.
During her second trip to the end of the hotel lobby door, Maya slips spoiled in Samuel's arm. He knew that Sam was jealous right now.
"I'll never turn my back on you, Sam."
Maya whispered slowly in the middle of her footsteps.
to be continue....
