MySam
Bad Thinking or Bad Feeling

Sam doesn't realize that the attitude he showed this morning hurt Maya's feelings. Actually, what he feels right now is part of his guilt towards his fiancee. The incident in the elevator yesterday with Freya, has caused regret in Sam's heart.

Another reason, Sam is afraid that Maya will find out that Sam and Freya met privately together in his mansion

____

To make up for her guilt, Sam invites Maya to have lunch together. Although it is undeniable Sam's invitation to lunch still makes his heart can not act ordinary.

There is regret there, and there is also Sam's concern about Maya's attitude if later he is honest with Maya about Freya.

"Are you not feeling well?" ask Maya now, seeing Samuel who just sat with a restless face makes Maya think worse.

"I'm fine."

Maya does not feel Samuel's answer is the truth. Highlight the brown eyes that were usually so sharp, now as if covered in fog. His view is not focused. Sometimes Sam is like daydreaming. Frowning then took a deep breath as if reassuring himself that everything would be fine.

There was something that the man was hiding from Maya, the girl could feel it.

Lunch also passed as if only an instigator of the obligation that Samuel Perdana should have lunch with Maya.

But not a single bit of Maya felt the warmth.

Once seen several times Sam glanced at his phone and then turned it off. Very quaint.

Same when Sam drove her home. Only silence accompanied the two of them. Maya is getting uncomfortable.

How many times Maya tries to get rid of bad thoughts about Sam. It is increasingly pervading the various probabilities of why the man changed.

...

Maya buries her head on the mattress pad in her room, trying to rethink how Sam can change so quickly. From Sam who is warm and always gives a lot of small attention to him, to Sam whose mind is not present even though the man's body is nearby.

Dddrrr....

Maya's phone is now suddenly ringing, she quickly grabbed the smart phone, "Yes, what's up Tha..? ___ Okay.. I'm there now ya___ See you there___ hhmm bye..."

Maya took a heavy breath, before she finally got up from the fall. Martha asked to meet at the cafe Pondok Indah area. It's better to go outside just sipping a warm latte or lemon tea with Martha than to be confused by Samuel's problem, Maya thought.

....

Wednesday night at Sam's luxury mansion, the athletic man again spent the time to hit his heavy bag. This time Freya's shadow filled her head.

Goddamn bum!!

How could the girl continue to terrorize him. Every time he was with Maya, Freya always tried to contact him. Ah no, the girl always contacted him without knowing the time. Samuel couldn't turn off his phone because there could have been a business call at any time.

He regretted giving Freya his mobile number.

"Damn!" Sam threw his last blow.

Every time Freya tried to call, every time her concentration was broken. Sam didn't dare to say anything. What if he got it wrong and Maya found out. The girl begins to suspect herself.

Three days was like hell. His heart never calmed down and always shriveled whenever Freya's number appeared on his phone screen.

Even just in case Sam changed Freya's name to Fredy, well who knows Maya saw her phone screen and Sam hopes there is no suspicion.

What if Maya hates him if she's caught lying. Sam could not imagine what would happen if Maya again silenced herself.

This is called fear of loss.

....

Maya stops a saloon of metallic ash from Anita, parking right in front of a cafe with a retro feel. Maya enters the cafe with little hesitation, this is the first time she enters the cafe without Samuel. Black and white dominate the cafe, on the right and left side of the cafe displayed some more memorable masculine images. Vespa motor, Pizza Tower, and also a picture of a coffee cup complete with coffee beans become a unique sight.

Maya wonder why Martha prefers the cafe compared with a cafe that is more girly or more impressed feminine.

"Hey, sorry I'm late. Have you been waiting a long time?" ask Maya by landing a cipika cipiki on Martha's cheek.

Martha smiled slightly, grabbed Maya's body and hugged Maya's small body.

"No, I just arrived. Oh, are you alone? Where's Sam?"

Maya's smile slowly faded, but she quickly behaved normally like nothing had ever happened.

"Sam is busy" Maya replied with no twinkle in both of her black irises.

"You guys got a problem? same story with me, who knows I can help you." Martha grabbed the back of Maya's hand and clasped her entire finger.

Maya shook her head slowly, trying to smile back. Martha knew the girl's smile was so forced.

"We're fine Tha."

"Oh yeah, how's the ocean? healthy? I miss your little angel." Maya diverts the conversation, now the smile really expands all over the corners of Maya's lips.

"Samudra is good, add cute to him." Martha smiled for a moment as her memory now suddenly focused on her tiny baby.

"It's actually the Ocean I want to talk about." Martha.

Martha fell silent for a moment, looking at Maya's black iris.

"What's wrong? The ocean's fine, right?" this time Maya asked in a slightly worried tone.

"He's fine, I'd like to ask you and Samuel for help, to be ready to be the Ocean's adoptive parents," paused for a moment. Martha looked expectantly at Maya.

"I want to, but why Tha? it's not like there's still you guys who love the ocean."

"You're the only ones I believe in if someday..." Martha stopped her words for a moment.

"Ah already, I really want Samudra to also have adoptive parents like you. Thank you, May."

Maya nodded slowly, smiled and clasped tightly onto Martha's hand which was on the back of her hand.

"May, I know that Sam's love is only for you. Whatever your problems are, I know that you can get through them together." Martha said again.

"Thank you Tha. I don't know when I feel Sam is changing," Maya said, she sipped a little lemon tea warm hers. The girl's view is now glaring, like trying to recall what she might have done wrong to Sam.

"Change how do you mean May?"

"Okay, I don't know either. The day before, he was fine. But yesterday.." paused for a moment. The girl sounded like she was breathing rough.

"Take him to me cold Tha, I'm afraid if Sam...." Maya again stopped her speech, trying to get rid of all the bad thoughts in her mind.

"Don't think anything. You better ask me directly what the problem is." Martha made a gesture to calm the girl who was currently sitting before her.

"I know you can get through it. If you can get past the problem I caused yesterday, I'm sure for this you can solve it." Martha again. Highlight eyes full of support now Martha shows. A gentle swipe on Maya's shoulder was pinned to give strength.

"Thanks, Tha."

"Together, you are currently my only true friend, Maya."

"Heee life is weird, when I used to think you were the biggest enemy. But now we're friends." Martha chuckled, which was answered by Maya as well.

The two beautiful girls hugged each other again, sometimes they laughed. Laughing at destiny brings them close.

And for a moment this meeting made Maya a little able to forget about Samuel's problem.

to be continue...
