"Ken ...."

"Ken ...."

"Kenzo!"

Alea called, but Kenzo remained unmoved. His eyes were focused on him, but his mouth was speechless. Suddenly the phone's screen moved and turned dark. Kenzo was still dumbfounded while his phone fell on the bed.

"Ken!"

"Kenzo!"

Alea's voice was still heard at the end there. Kenzo was unaware of his surprise.

"Kenzoo!" Alea shouted loudly behind the phone, making Kenzo stutter instantly, but as he looked at his hand, his phone was gone, he quickly grabbed the phone that turned out to be lying on the bed.

"Ken!"

Alea's voice sounded again.

"Yes, baby ...." Kenzo awkwardly looked at Alea.

"Why are you quiet? You even dropped your phone. Don't you like it when I say I love you? You're really outrageous, not romantic at all, you--"

"I love you, love you so much, I'm just surprised. You almost gave me a heart attack."

"heart attack? Ken! you don't fuck around."

"Yes, honey, I almost had a heart attack when you told me you loved me."

"Ken!" Alea's face looks blushing behind the screen of her phone.

"Can you repeat what you just said?" Kenzo looked at Alea who was smiling shyly.

"No re-broadcast." Alea looked at Kenzo who looked bleak.

"Darling ...."

Alea laughed as she saw Kenzo instantly frown, hearing his words.

"Well, I'll catch up with you right now."

"Ken!" Alea suddenly shouted.

"Why?"

"It's late, you better come here tomorrow."

"No. I want it now."

"Ken, don't you see what time it is?"

"I don't care. I just want to see you."

"But I can't see you if you're ready to come at this hour" Alea said.

"Why? Are you lying to me?" Kenzo looks upset.

"Ken, look what time it is, you can't meet me at this hour at home."

Kenzo saw the clock on his phone.

"Two o'clock in the morning?"

"Nearly three, Ken. You're not gonna see me at this hour, are you? It's in my house, not the apartment." Alea looked at Kenzo who looked disappointed.

"You can come tomorrow morning, Ken," comfort Alea.

"I want it now."

Alea laughed looking at Kenzo who was sulking like a child.

"You're such a bitch!" Kenzo pursed his lips.

"Why didn't you say it from yesterday?" kenzo Protest.

"I'm sorry, because I realized it too late." Alea stared inside Kenzo's face from his phone screen.

Kenzo was speechless, his net scrutinizing Alea's pretty face on his phone screen.

Alea smiled then nodded her head with certainty.

"I love you, I'm sorry I realized it too late."

"Ken, promise me, you'll stay with me. Promise me you'll stay by my side no matter what. Do you want to?"

"Of course I want to. I've been waiting for you for years, Al. Ever since I fell in love with you. There's no way I'm gonna waste you, once I know that you have the same feelings as me."

"I love you so much Alea, whenever I will continue to love you. I will stay by your side and take care of you. Gave you happiness you never had before."

Kenzo's tone of voice was very certain, he looked at Alea's face that looked teary.

"I love you, Al, with all my heart."

"Thank you for always being by my side." Kenzo is back. Alea had shed her tears.

"I love you too, Ken ...."

Bian was still crying, pondering over all his mistakes all this time towards Alea.

'If I hadn't been too late to realize that I love you too, maybe I could still be with you now Alea.'

'If I hadn't been blind, for loving Amara too much, maybe I could still be with you right now.'

Bian slapped his face, the guilt and pain in his heart were mixed. Plus, the sense of regret he felt, because all this time had wasted Alea. A woman who loved him so much but never ignored him.

"I'm really sorry Alea, I really want to fix everything, please give me a chance, so you know, how much I love you Alea ...." Bian blurted out in between his cries.

Regrets always come too late. Had Bian been unselfish and willing to accept Alea back then, he might have been happy with Alea by now.

His love for Amara at that time blinded his eyes. So that Bian could not see the love and sincerity that Alea had given him.

The betrothal made by Alea's parents as well as her parents made her angry and hate Alea. Because she thought, Alea had already forced her parents to marry her to Bian. Bian knew, Alea had liked him for a long time. Therefore, he thought that Alea must have forced her parents so that she could marry him.

From then on, Bian began to hate Alea. Previously, he had never hated the beautiful girl who was his neighbor.

Bian recalled, Alea was a little girl who always chased after him, and always watched him from afar. Because of their age of several years, Bian thought Alea was just a little girl who was kasmaran.

Bian had never responded to everything Alea had said back then. One day, she learns that her parents have agreed to marry her to Alea.

Alea's parents were even willing to give her company and a house so she would marry Alea. At first Bian refused, but because Alea's family was very influential, Bian abandoned his intention to refuse the match.

From the beginning of the wedding, Bian had planned to make Alea suffer, because Bian felt that Alea had been the cause of Bian's breakup with Amara. Therefore, Bian never gave Alea a chance to feel happy even at the beginning of her marriage.

Bian promised, would make Alea suffer and eventually give up on leaving her. Bian even devised a plan with Amara to take control of all the treasures Alea had given him. Including the house and company Alea's parents gave her as collateral for her marriage to Alea.

Bian never expected, as time went on, that he was in love with Alea, and to make matters worse, he was too late to notice. Bian realized too late, that the woman had begun to reign in his heart. Perhaps even as he tortured Alea continuously, Bian had already started to fall in love with her. Only, he never realized it because there was Amara who was always beside him and constantly instigated him.

Remembering Amara, Bian prayed in his heart, may God forgive all his sins.

'If I could repeat time, I would definitely prefer you and love you properly.'

Bian closed his eyes, trying to sleep and forget about Alea's shadows in the eye patch. But instead of falling asleep, he was getting more agitated. Bian got out of bed, looked for sleeping pills in the nightstand drawer, then stepped into the kitchen to grab a drink.

As Bian was pouring drinks on the glass, someone hugged him tightly from behind making Bian jump in shock and almost drop his glass.

"For a moment, I'd like to hold you for a moment ...."

The voice was so soft with a hopeful tone. Bian was silent, the shadow of his past with Alea was back dancing in his head. Bian remembered the moment Alea adored him so much, the woman, even willing to sacrifice everything to get his attention.

Just like the woman who was currently hugging him and hiding her face behind his back.

Bian let out a long breath, unmoving, though his chest rumbled as he felt the warmth of the woman's embrace.

'No more, I will never repeat the same mistake. Enough with Alea alone, there will be no other Alea-Alea.'
