Poison of Love Arsenio
The Warm Afternoon

It's been two days since Binar took a leave of absence. During that time he spent just chatting with Rain. The man did not seem to mind at all, when Binar told him many things. In fact, all the stories from Binar have managed to make Rain feel much better. Moreover, Binar always painstakingly take care and never forget to remind him in taking medicine.

Like that morning, Binar delivered a bowl of rice porridge with a sprinkling of milk chicken on it. He brought the food back into the room where Rain had been. "Eat first, after that take the medicine," said Binar while preparing a few grains of medicine next to a bowl and a glass of water.

"Are you leaving, Nar?" ask Rain.

"Yet. I want to take a shower for a while" replied Binar as he walked towards the door of the room. He also left from there.

"Wait for me to finish breakfast for a minute, yeah!" exciting Rain. "Finished eating, I'll take you!" again with a slightly loud voice. He ate the food faster than usual. After eating, Rain immediately took the medicine that had been prepared by Binar. Simultaneously, Binar re-entered the room in a state that was clean and tidy.

"I'm coming along" Rain stood up and approached the girl who was preparing herself.

"Where are you going?" Binar frowned, then laughed amusedly.

"I want to get you to work" Rain replied lightly.

"Are you strong enough to go far?" Barin looked doubtful. He saw the tall body from top to bottom.

"Don't underestimate Rain." The beautiful man patted his chest and then chuckled softly, making Binar laugh. It was rare that he could laugh like that, after the departure of his father.

"Yes, come on," without hesitation, Binar grabbed Rain's hand and asked him to walk out of the room.

Meanwhile in the living room, Widya noticed the young couple with a cynical look. "Working continues! Forgetting how to make money later!" sinsirnya spicy.

"This is Binar going to work, ma'am. Want to find an extra to pay for SPP Wisnu," replied the beautiful girl in the voice as soft as possible.

"Well, if you remember your brothers!" widya said again as she left. The middle-aged woman's heart is always upset, every time dealing with the daughter of her late husband.

Rain let out a deep breath, then nodded at Binar. He seemed to be gesturing for the girl to quickly pass from there. The man who has not gained the memory of his past, already know and began to get used to Widya's habits.

Binar understood. He nodded back and stepped quickly out of the house. "Every day you walk, huh?" asked Rain after walking quite a distance. The two stepped side by side, down the streets of Gianyar city that began to crowded.

"Yes, count-count exercise," said plain Binar.

"You don't want a bike? I saw no motorbike in your house" asked Rain again.

"I can't ride a motorcycle" Binar blushed.

"Ah, time?" Rain was in disbelief.

"Brother is dead, anyway. He hasn't been able to teach me how to ride a motorcycle," Binar laughed crisply, but the look in his eyes showed deep bitterness.

"It looks like I can ride a bike, I don't know ...." Rain's words sounded doubtful, "I feel like I've driven it. I'll teach you sometime" said the man in a voice that suddenly sounded excited.

"When?" ask Binar.

"When," repeated Rain again with a funny mimic, making Binar open. His laughter looks so loose. Rain's presence makes the girl again find the passion in her life that feels empty after the departure of the father. Binar is also like starting to find happiness in living his days now. They continued to talk casually, until they were unaware that the two had arrived in front of Binar's workplace.

"Yes. I'm at home working here. My busyness in the store can be an entertainment when I feel at home. I even feel more at home in the store," Binar said with a smile on his face.

"After we first met, too" Rain turned toward the entrance gate. His eyes glared far towards the highway in front of him.

"Yes, I was afraid that you might be pretending to be hurt to rob me," Binar's thoughts drifted back, imagining the first time he met Rain.

While Rain only smiled faintly. "I only remember waking up in the middle of a dark forest. Then, I tried to get up and find a way to get out of there," Rain fell silent. At first glance, strange shadows entered his head. The silhouette of a girl again entered his mind. The longer, the silhouette became clearer. "Beautiful?" suddenly muttered.

"Behold who?" Binar frowned, then brought her face closer to Rain.

"Eh, who? No, it's nobody" Rain grimaced as he scratched his head. "I-I go home first, yeah. Happy work, Binar. Will you be overtime or not? I'll pick you up again, okay?" hail Rain nervously.

"It doesn't look like it" replied Binar.

"All right," said Rain. He kissed the girl's cheek at a glance, before waving his hand and then moving away from there.

Along the way home, Rain held her head repeatedly. The longer, the more flashes of events revolved around in his mind. However, he could not remember a single one clearly. It just makes his head hurt.

Arriving at Binar's house, Rain found no one there. Most likely Widya has gone to work. Likewise with Vishnu and Praya who clearly have gone to school.

Not wanting to waste time, Rain immediately took the cleaning tools and began tidying up the house that was not how big it was. From sweeping and mopping the entire floor, to cleaning the kitchen and brushing the bathroom, Rain does it all without any disgust at all. He just wants his existence there not to be considered as a shame by Widya. A small job like he did earlier, certainly can lighten the burden of work Binar a little.

When afternoon came, Rain hurriedly cleaned himself in the bathroom before Widya went home. By five o'clock, he was ready to pick up Binar. "Where are you going, Mister?" tanya Praya who was sitting relaxing with her brother on the porch of the house.

"Pick up Binar," Rain smiled broadly as he patted Praya's back softly. While the boy only looked at Rain in surprise, then turned to his brother who was also looking at him. However, the two half-brothers did not talk much anymore.

Rain's steps were so steadfast and excitedly headed to the souvenir shop. He then sat in one of the gazebos until the figure of Binar came out of the building. Rain hurriedly stood up and called out the name of the girl. He welcomed the presence of Binar he had been waiting for.

"Rain? Holy hooch! You walk here again?" Binar half ran up to him.

"You've got a strong walk back and forth. My time isn't it?" Rain let out a laugh, revealing a row of white and neat teeth.

"Yes, geez. Come on, I'll treat you to a meal at the front stall" Binar pulled the man's arm. He half forced her to walk to a small stall located beside the parking lot.

"Eh, no. Your money will run out" reject Rain. He remembered two of Binar's sisters on the porch.

"Just calm down, Rain. There's a bule that gives me good tips. It will not be reduced much if only buy us both a plate of mixed rice and orange ice," said Binar.

"Um, well," hesitantly Rain followed Binar into the simple-looking stall.

"Eat," Binar thrust a plate of rice full of side dishes at Rain. The man immediately greeted him and started eating when the order of Binar had come. The two human children enjoyed a joking and joyful afternoon meal.

Meanwhile, not far from where Rain and Binar eat, a man with a beautiful woman was busy distributing leaflets to everyone passing along the sidewalk. "If your father or mother finds the man in this picture, immediately call the number below, yes," the message of the woman who is none other than Winona.
