Poison of Love Arsenio

Poison of Love Arsenio
Two Gurame Boxes

"Well, it all started with just acquaintances. Over time, the more you know each other," said Prapti while laughing.

"Tante could be," said Chand, who was not too serious in responding to the woman's joke.

"Eh, your tumben didn't ask for a gurame fish. Usually like the message of the grilled gurame every meal here," said Prapti again while patting Chand's arm slowly.

"No, Aunt. Poor Nirmala is starving. Too long if you have to wait for the fish. Unless, if he wants to add rice one more basket," Chand's goda turned to Binar who was busy eating squid with a size large enough. The sparkle almost choked because of it. The girl immediately shook her head, as a sign of rejection at the offer of the handsome man who was then smiling broadly at her.

"Chand used to love to joke. Any girl can eat that much, but if you want, it's okay. Aunty later choose," said the middle-aged woman with a really warm attitude.

"That's it, then," replied Chand. He then raised two fingers, as a sign that he ordered two grilled carp.

"alright. Please continue eating. Aunty excuse me first, yes," said Prapti. Before moving from there, he had touched the arm of Binar until the girl stopped her eating for a moment. Then the binar looked up. The girl smiled as she looked at Prapti who was also smiling gently at her. However, in fact he was still silent even until Prapti had passed from before himself and Chand.

"Why?" ask Chand wonder.

"It's okay. I just feel funny, it turns out there are still many good and friendly people like aunty. The same is the case with Ms. Irma," replied Binar innocently.

"Who's Irma?" ask Chand again.

"Mom Irma? She ...." Binar also told the beginning of his meeting with Nastiti's mother. Binar even told me about his phone that fell while he was about to get off the train. "I feel grateful because God is so good. He brought me up with good people. One of them is you, sir," said Binar timidly. To cover up that embarrassment, he picked up the remaining fried tempeh, then immediately ate and chewed on it quickly.

Chand scratched his forehead slowly, before going back to eating the food in the plate that was in front of him. "If I may know, how old are you now?" he asked after a moment of silence.

"Twenty years," replied Binar. He immediately drank because his throat felt full.

"You're so young. Not going to college?" ask Chand again.

Binar immediately shook his head. "No, Sir. I have to work. After all, I have two younger siblings who are still in school and need a big fee. So ...." Binar did not continue his words, because at that time the sound of Chand's cell phone ringing.

The handsome man with a typical face of Indian fusion also turned his attention to the phone he put on the table. Chand checked it out immediately. Arsenio's name is clearly on the man's expensive phone screen. "In a moment" he said before answering the call. He got up from his seat, and left Binar alone in the hut.

There was nothing else that Binar did, other than to go back to eating the leftovers in the dish. I don't know when was the last time he ate so well. Chand stood not far from the hut. His sturdy posture in a short t-shirt combined with jeans, looks so good to see. Binar even occasionally stole a glance at him, although the heart and mind of the girl at that time was still fixed on the figure of Rain aka Arsenio.

"What's Arsen?" chand started the conversation.

"Me and my family from Jakarta will soon leave for Jogja. Can you pick us up at the airport?" Arsenio's voice was heard from across the street.

"Have you guys left?" ask Chand.

"The flight is about two hours away, but we are leaving from home now" replied Arsenio.

Chand saw the circular watch on his left wrist. The flight from Jakarta to Jogja only takes about an hour. That meant, he still had a little time to spend with Binar. Somehow, Chand felt quite amused when he was with the girl who was ten years younger than him.

"alright. I'll stand by at the airport before your plane lands" Chand replied later.

After a short chat, the man ended his phone call with Arsenio. Chand then returns to the hut to meet Binar who has finished eating all his food. "Where are you going?" ask the man to Binar.

"Back, Sir. Where else would you go?  I still don't know the area around here. I can only remember the route from Irma's house to Renata Park. That's all going home, sir," Binar explained. He was silent for a moment. The girl then swerved suddenly, making Chand a little surprised.

"You're why so weird." I don't know how many times in the last few hours, Chand laughed because of the work of Binar.

"That was, sir. I don't memorize the way home" he said restlessly. "How about you take me to Renata Park. I can get down there and go straight home on foot" he asked.

"Yes, geez. Ribet once you, Nirmala. Tell you what, tell me your friend's phone number" Chand asked.

"Gosh," Chand scratched his forehead slowly. He seemed to think for a moment, then grabbed his phone back. The man dialed Renata's contact number, then contacted the woman. Not long after, the call was connected. There was a friendly voice of Renata across the street. "Ren," said Chand. "May you please connect with ...." Chand kept the phone away from the ear, then asked Binar. "What's your friend's name?"

"Nastiti, sir," replied Binar quickly.

"Can I talk to Nastiti for a second, Ren?" continued Chand.

"Okay, wait a minute" Renata said. A moment of silence until someone's voice came back. "Hello" said the voice hesitating.

"Hello. Nastiti?" ask Chand.

"Y-yes, me, sir?" answer Nastiti.

"This is someone who wants to talk to you," Chand just handed his expensive phone to Binar.

"Hello, Ti," called Binar as he occasionally glanced at Chand who was taking himself seriously.

"Lho, Ma. Why haven't you come home yet? I thought I was home" said Nastiti.

"That's exactly it, Ti. I don't know the way home. I haven't yet memorized. You see, this place is far from the building," said Binar doubtful.

"Yes, my gosh," Nastiti laughed out loud enough before explaining her home address in detail. Chand can also hear that quite clearly, as he had briefly activated the loud speaker button earlier. Chand mangosteen over explanation from Nastiti.

"Okay, I get it. Thank you, Nastiti," Chand said before ending the call.

"We're home" Chand took a stand. Before leaving, he washed his hands on the barrel that was already available in front of the hut. "I have to pick up my best friend from the airport in a moment" the man said.

"Then what about the fish, sir? You were the gurame's message?" plain Binar asked, making Chand's laughter explode instantly.

"It turns out that the same food, you just remember, yes," he said. He then directed Binar towards the cashier's desk. There, it looks like Prapti is sitting while operating a calculating machine. "Tante, the gouramen are wrapped, yes," he said.

"Oh, done," Prapti replied while turning his attention to Chand. "Tumben, it's usually eaten here."

"I'm in a hurry, Auntie. A friend from Jakarta asked me to pick him up" Chand explained.

"Oh, yes, that's it. Say hello to your mother, yes" Prapti's message, along with a servant who offered two boxes of grilled gurame to Binar.

After paying and saying goodbye, Chand drove Binar home according to the address mentioned by Nastiti. Since the house that Binar lived in slightly went into an alley that could not be passed by a car, Chand finally stopped his vehicle on the side of a large road. "This is what you bring." He gave a package of two boxes of gurame to Binar.

"Oh my goodness, sir. No need. I was full earlier. Thank you very much, sir," subtly declined Binar.

"If you are full, just give it to Irma or Nastiti. Please don't refuse my gift or I'll get angry" Chand said with a grin.

By force, Binar received the package. "Thank you, sir," he said.

However, Chand did not answer. He got out of the vehicle, then circled the car and opened the door for Binar. "I also thank you, Nirmala. Thank you for comforting me today," she replied with a big smile as she looked at the bewildered face of Binar.

Chand's cheer at that time, inversely proportional to Arsenio's anger when he just came out of the room, but was immediately blocked by Indah. Arsenio of course felt uncomfortable for the attitude of friends from Winona. "I'm not kidding, beautiful. My mom is waiting in the car. We could be late and miss the plane" he said.

"You're not pretending, are you, Sen?" Beautiful even asked a strange question in Arsenio's ears.

"What do you mean?" Arsenio frowned because she did not understand.

"I'm afraid that you're pretending to forget everything we've been living quietly behind Wini," replied Indah who continued to step forward, making Arsenio move back into her room.
