“Ti, I came home first, yes,” whispered Binar to Nastiti who was still busy arranging flowers to be displayed on the leading shelf. Today, Binar took the afternoon schedule. While Nastiti just started her work in the afternoon because she had to go to college first.
“Mbak so see you Chand?” nastiti asked half a whisper.
“Hust! I have to return the pants,” replied Binar who was immediately greeted with amused laughter by Nastiti.
“Ya, already. Mbak still memorized ‘kan the way? Just follow the big road,” Nastiti said as she moved her hand to clarify.
“Yes, you calm down. I still remember. Thank you.” Binar waved his hand as he walked outside the store. He then approached Rena who was still busy giving directions to her employees on the terrace of the store. “I go home first, Ma'am,” he said politely.
"You're coming home, huh? Thank you, Mal," Rena replied kindly.
Binar smiled kindly while nodding. He intends to leave the store, but the girl is stunned again because Rena is talking to him again.
"Oh, yeah. If you're willing, tomorrow can't go in two shifts? You see, we get jobs at mall events. We have to decorate the entire lower floor" explained Rena.
"Oh sure, Ma'am. I can. I am even very happy if I can join the decor like yesterday. Adding experience to me," replied Binar excitedly.
"All right then. I'll wait eight o'clock, yeah. We will go to the mall together. Remember not to be late" Rena said.
"Ready, Ma'am. Then excuse me first" said Binar again.
"OKAY. Be careful, Mal," replied Rena while waving a moment before returning to focus on her work. While Binar went in the direction indicated by Nastiti earlier.
In less than half an hour, he had already arrived at the building that Chand had intended for yesterday. The atmosphere was still crowded inside the magnificent building. Everyone seemed busy and passed by here and there. They were all preparing for a massive reception party.
Binar hesitated between wanting to enter to find Chand or waiting on the terrace of the building, because all that could enter were interested people. While carrying a bag of crackles containing Chand's pants, Binar walked back and forth on the terrace of the building. Every now and then, he peeked out from the distance through the large open window at the front. His eyes were looking out for Chand. However, Binar could not find the man inside.
Half desperate, Binar chose to sit on a park bench located in the front yard. His stomach had already rang many times, as he had missed lunch. Earlier, Binar was too eager to work until he forgot to eat his food. "Oh," the girl complained as her stomach rang out loud again. Binar then grabbed the cloth bag containing the lunch box she was carrying. His intention was to eat that food.
However, the beautiful girl had to undo her intentions, when she heard the voice of a man greeting. "Have you waited a long time?" asked the man from behind Binar, making him so surprised. I don't know when Chand was standing there. Binar also felt afraid that the handsome man would listen to strange noises coming from his empty stomach.
"Pa-pak," he stammered. So nervous that Binar was confused what to say. Soon he thrust the bag of crackles he held earlier to Chand. "I'm here to return your pants. Thank you very much, sir," said Binar softly and politely.
Chand did not answer immediately. He seemed to think for a moment. The handsome man was like he was observing a plain-faced young girl standing before him. Chand remembers yesterday. He was able to confirm that back then, the young girl was not wearing underwear. "Have you washed my pants?" tanyanya.
"Geez," muttered Chand as he shook his head slowly. He opened the bag, then inhaled the smell.
"Compensed, Sir. Yesterday I sprinkled a lot of detergent" Binar explained immediately. However, before long the girl was embarrassed.
Chand was a little surprised to hear this, then gave his smile. "All right, it's okay. Thank you," he said, holding back a laugh. Only this time did he have such a ridiculous experience.
"I should be grateful, sir. I've been a hassle" said Binar. The girl then fell silent. Sometimes he lowered his head, when he realized that Chand was watching him. Chand doesn't talk much either. In the end, the two of them were silent for a while, until they heard strange noises that made Binar have to resist embarrassment for a second time. "Geez," he muttered softly as he held onto his stomach. I can't imagine how embarrassed that girl was. It felt as if Binar wanted to leave immediately, dodge, and hide. He also did not expect to see the handsome man again.
Chand seemed to be hiding a smile while looking down. After all, he had to keep the feelings of the girl before him. But he was unable to hold back the laughter. Many times the man with the stout stature had covered his mouth with the back of his fingers.
"Sorry" said Binar softly. He could not lift his face because he was too embarrassed. "I haven't had lunch yet" said the girl reasoned.
"It just so happens that I haven't had lunch yet" Chand replied. "Not far from here is a nice restaurant. What if we had lunch together?" hail that handsome guy.
"Ah, no need. I have brought my own food," refused Binar subtly.
"It's a pity, when I want to practice eating," Chand replied in a slightly disappointed tone. While Binar only smiled a little while nodding slowly.
"I used to bring lunch from home." Binar ventured to look at the man before her. He then glanced at the cloth bag that had almost been opened.
"Okay, maybe next time. I rarely come to London. So, once here must be satisfied with the typical culinary here," said Chand calmly.
"Oh. I've also only been here a few days" replied Binar.
"meaning?" ask Chand. "Are you monitoring?"
Binar nodded slowly while smiling gently. The girl was again speechless with her body language that looked a little clumsy. His stomach was ringing again. Binar held it back and rubbed it slowly.
"That's it. Come on," take Chand to walk past Binar.
"Where?" binar asked innocently while turning his back, because Chand had already walked ahead of him.
Chand then looked. The handsome man smiled. "We have lunch" he replied lightly. While continuing to punch the crackle containing the return pants from Binar, Chand stepped dashingly. However, before long he was stunned and turned his head back. Stare at him Binar who was still glued in his place stood. Chand then scratched his forehead slowly. While Binar looks confused. "Why are you still standing there? Come on, follow me. I told you I'd practice lunch. I hope you don't reject him, Nirmala," said the handsome man, making Binar surprised that Chand knew his name.
