CHAPTERS 159. Watching Laila
From late afternoon until 8pm, Laila continued to be inside Andra's room and never opened the door.
It was only when Andra fell asleep that Laila opened the door of the room and was surprised to see three people who were in front of the door of Andra's room were still there while standing anxiously.
Opening the door wide, Laila sighed.
"You can see it but don't bother him. His emotions are unstable and he doesn't want to see anyone." Laila.
"We understand, thank you Laila." Weleni said then she and her husband went into her room while Laila and Samudra also returned to their room.
Their granddaughter fell asleep but with a pale face and a slight frown on her forehead.
Weleni was about to sit beside Andra's bed to touch her grandson when Silas held her back.
"But, hah, alright," Weleni replied in a very soft voice along with an expression of disappointment.
They both knew, Andra was very easy to wake up from her sleep even with a little minor annoyance.
Long enough to look at their grandchildren, the two old men came out of Andra's room and into their room that Ocean had prepared in the house.
"Let's stay here a few days. I'm so worried about our grandchildren." Silas said as he sat on one of the chairs with an unsettled face.
"Suami, why do I suddenly remember how Selin was in our family. At first our grandson became very good and better than before but after getting married, things got worse.
"Isn't Andra's current state the same as the one when Selin entered our family?" Weleni.
"But there's no way Andra would let Laila into her room when Laila hurt her." Answer Silas.
"You're right, but I don't know why I still worry. Do you remember the series of events when Laila first came to our house?
"And the first day when Laila got to this house, Andra made a rampage to hack into the company system, our granddaughter could not possibly beat our son in terms of IT. And Laila, she won the programmer competition our company held.
"Since Laila came, things have changed in our homes, from Andra to experiencing rapid development in the recovery of her trauma and also the Ocean to being more talkative.
"But in our company, a lot of setbacks happen. And until now Laila and Samudra are married, why am I even more afraid that Laila actually has another strategy for our family?" Said Weleni who became suspicious of Laila.
Silas listened to every explanation of his wife, and in fact he had long wanted to say that, but he still remembered Kendra's words to trust their Son.
After all, they were quite happy for Laila who could bring change to their grandchildren.
"Wife," Silas approached his wife and stroked her shoulder.
"Don't think about too many things. We trust him with all our sons. This time alone, let Samudra handle his family's problems without any interference from us." Silas Say.
"But, the man-"
"Wife, this time." Silas Selah.
Sighing her breath, Weleni then replied "Alright, but we should always keep an eye on them and we should stay in this house until I'm absolutely sure that Laila is really the right woman to complete our Son's family!"
