CHAPTER 31. Ill-starred
Just as Samudra closed the door and walked up to the 2 people, the man immediately narrowed his eyes when he saw Laila's reddish arm.
"What happened to your hand?" Tanya Samudra extended her hand to touch Laila's hand.
However, he had not touched Layla's skin when Andra with her possessive attitude instantly prevented her father's hand as well as giving the man a warning look.
The ocean sighed, now the barrier to her proximity to Laila was her own child!
"Have you applied the ointment?" Samudra asked who realized that he could not possibly defeat his son.
"Already Sir. The old madam gave me the ointment and helped Andra apply it." Laila's reply made Andra grow bigger and bigger in front of her father.
Lookie!
I was the one who was there helping my brother when he got into trouble!
"Good then. Now, Andra come with me to change clothes because Laila needs to be taken care of by the makeup artist in order to attend the party with you." Samudra looked at his son.
"Master, I don't think I need a makeup artist, I can do makeup myself." Said Laila who felt in her heart that she as a stranger couldn't possibly get too preferential treatment from the Ocean.
Although his goal was to entice the man to complete his mission.
However, moving too fast would also make him look cheap in front of everyone, especially in front of the two Ocean elders.
"Don't refuse, or I'll be offended. I've prepared him, he'll be in for a minute." Said Samudra looking at his son gesturing for the little man to follow him leaving the room.
Andra felt very reluctant, especially when she recalled that her makeup artist was a man.
He wanted to accompany Laila to keep the makeup artist from teasing Laila.
"Obbed and went with me, for a woman was ashamed to be dressed in front of their loved ones." Samudra's speech was trying to influence his son's mind.
"That's right, every woman will be very embarrassed to appear in front of the man they care about, what else when not using makeup." Answer Laila.
Laila's reply instantly made Andra smile and obediently walked with her father leaving the room.
If Laila is embarrassed to appear without makeup in front of Andra, it means Laila really loves Andra.
That thought made Andra smile with happiness and thought that she would be in a strange place without Laila beside her.
However, as Ocean opened the door, he saw Kris standing at the door with cold sweat covering the man's forehead.
"Tu, sir." Said Kris stammered because he was very afraid that until the Ocean scolded him for the loss of the dress without Ocean permission.
"Come in and make up for him. I'll take care of the dress." Samudra's words took Andra's clothes from Kris and the two let Kris enter the room.
After escorting Andra to the room opposite the room where Laila was in makeup, Samudra left the little man and went to Selin's room.
"Give me the dress!" Said the Ocean to the woman standing in front of the mirror trying on one of the dresses she had taken from Kris.
"Huh, so you really prepared all these dresses for that waitress?" Selin asked staring dislike at the Ocean.
"Is that your business?" Tanya Samudra stepped closer to Selin and picked up one of the dresses placed on the table.
"I can't believe Laila wants to be with you. Especially if that woman knows you're an impotent man who can't give her the needs of a wife." Selin laughed humbly.
"Again looking for trouble, or once again I know you're making trouble, don't expect you to still be able to use your status to protect yourself!" Threaten the Ocean before the man exits Selin's room.
"Samudra, ck, ck, it's a waste that you took the dress." Selin laughed bitterly because the dress taken by Samudra was the ugliest dress brought by Kris.
It is impossible to beat the beauty of the dress chosen by Selin.
