The man is quite touched by Laila's story where both of his parents now have a new family and ignore Laila.

He's been underestimating me ever since we signed up here, even saying I'm a ren-"
"Anita! Can't you just be a little grateful that you still have a complete family?
While Laila, she was abandoned by her parents for their own selfishness!" Rizal snapped at his daughter before looking at Laila.

Please do your best" Rizal encouraged Laila.
"Thank you, Mrs. I won't let you down." Laila smiled as she looked at Irmawati.
