S2 - Part 3

After he finished talking and let go of his longing with Edgar. Lara is now with Gavi, accompanying her best friend is looking for a birthday gift for the president's wife aka Gavi's birth mother. And of course Lara's departure this time with Gavi has been with permission from Edgar.

Actually, Lara also invited Edgar, but the man said he wanted to see Robert to ask Lara directly before asking Miranda. It was funny to imagine Edgar asking Dad Robert, the man who used to be the father of the man. Not to mention the way Edgar called Dad Robert just a name without frills Dad, because Lara used to always call Dad Robert with the name Robert only.

"So you're going back to her?" asked Gavi with a bent face, when they arrived at one of the cafes in the shopping center, after tired of looking for gifts for his mommy who will be birthday.

Lara nodded and shook her head simultaneously, leaving Gavi confused to the point of frowning.

"Yes or not?"

"It could be yes, it could not. Depends." Lara shrugged both of her shoulders.

"Depends how?"

"Yes hanging, clothesline." Canda Lara with a laugh. But his laughter stopped when his head was on the toyor by Gavi.

"Not funny." Ketus Gavi was upset. How not to be upset when curious about Lara's answer, the woman was joking. If the joke is funny maybe he was a little entertained, but Lara joked really very crisp.

"Gavi." Lara turned back her best friend's head. "Don't do that again, because the only one who has the right to do that is Edgar." He said with a shy smile.

"Ck, ridiculous. Now tell him you're back to him or not?"

"I told you I could, yes, could not. It depends on Mom Miranda. You know, Mom Miranda doesn't like Edgar because of his status as Nela's son." Lara said with her breath.

Gavi nodded his head. Now he understood, because Lara often told him what had happened to the woman. How Lara crashes to miscarriage, and must be separated from the man named Edgar. The man she used to know was Lara's older sister.

"So I still have a chance." Gavi said with a seductive smile.

"What opportunity?" Lara frowned.

"Ck, of course the chance to be your lover." Gavi furiously pulls Lara's nose until she complains.

"Gavi, I told you it was —"

"More suited to be your best friend." Cut Gavi quickly.

Lara smiled as she clasped Gavi's hand. "I don't want to ruin our friendship just because of a love affair, because to me you mean so much to Gavi." Say it earnestly.

"You mean a lot to me, Lara Collins. And I'm happy if you're happy."

"Uh so sweet.." Tempted Lara with an amused chuckle. "Sometimes you'll get a better woman than me, Gavi."

"certainly. The number one child in this country should be able to get a beautiful woman, not stupid, not careless, not —"

"You insinuating me?" Sela Lara won't take it while hitting Gavi.

The two now laugh out loud and hit each other, not caring at all for the other visitors who are staring at them.
