"Why else would you come here?"

Miranda stared fiercely at the figure of the man standing before her, a figure that somehow made her sprain after yesterday's incident. The man takes two of the people he hates the most, and ends up in chaos. And who else was it if not Nelson, the man who was Edgar's uncle.

"I'm here because I want to visit an old friend, can't I?" Nelson tries to get Miranda to talk casually, even though the woman seems to be refusing his arrival.

"To the point. What do you want to say? Because I don't have much time." Because Miranda knew Nelson's arrival would definitely discuss yesterday's events.

Nelson was silent for a moment while sighing. Now that he knows the struggle to unite Lara and Edgar, it will be very difficult to see how Miranda hates Nela and Edgar.

"May I sit down? It's uncomfortable to talk standing up."

Miranda had to invite Nelson to sit down. If only he did not remember that man had helped him, he would have kicked Nelson out.

"Quick say!" Miranda said after they sat down.

Nelson again took a breath. "Miranda I know you hate Nela..."

"Yes, I hate him so much." Sela Miranda with ketus.

"I understand that, and you deserve to hate it. But please don't hate Edgar. My niece is innocent because she's also a victim of Nela's crimes." Nelson Obviously.

"Who said Edgar was innocent? Your niece is guilty of ruining my daughter's future. You didn't forget my daughter was once impregnated with Edgar." Miranda said, though she knew Edgar's fault was his fault too.

If Miranda had not sent Lara to Singapore, it would never have happened. And Edgar's mistake is now used as the main weapon by Miranda not to approve their relationship.

"Oh, so now you're blaming me?" Miranda is getting less and less accepted.

"That's not what I mean, it's just —"

"Enough Nelson! Your time is up, now get out!" Miranda got up from her seat with her hands pointing at the main door. "And don't forget to send my message to Edgar, he must leave Jakarta immediately! Remember the letter of the agreement is still valid." Speak with great emphasis.

Seeing the stubborn Miranda could not even be spoken to properly. Nelson stepped up from his seat. "You know Miranda, I think you've been changing for a year and being a good mother to your daughter. But I was wrong, because you were so selfish that you sacrificed Lara's happiness just because of your anger at Nela. It's really sad, because you made Nela win back indirectly."

"What do you mean?" Miranda prevents Nelson's departure.

"You don't understand?" Nelson smiled faintly. Miranda finally succeeded by his words. "Let's think Nela committed all those crimes to ruin your family's happiness, especially your three daughters. And now that Lara is suffering from not being able to be with her loved ones, doesn't that indirectly make Nela feel victorious because again your daughter is suffering."

"No...." Miranda shook her head. "You deliberately incited me?" miranda said suspiciously.

"It's up to you to say I instigated you, but that's the truth. For Nela, Edgar not matching up with your daughter is not a problem because many want Edgar. Like Julia. As for Lara, I'm sure she can get a better man than Edgar. But is that man willing to accept all of Lara's past."

Miranda clenched both her hands tightly. "This is modern times, where virginity is not a benchmark for a man to make his partner as a wife."

"Yes, maybe you're right. But you don't forget a man despite accepting the shortcomings, but it will be an oddity that will be revealed if there are problems in the marriage."

Miranda could no longer answer Nelson's words. It is true that all men will accept if their wives are no longer virgins, but a more appropriate word is forced to accept. And if there is a problem in the future then the man will make the lack of the woman as their weapon.
