The End of the Road

After coming home from the cafe with Lily. Lara who was about to enter her room broke the intention when she faintly heard the sound of crying from inside Rose's room which happened to be not tightly closed. Lara also ventured to go inside, walking closer to the brother who was crying on the side of the bed with a position behind him.

"What's wrong with you?"

"La-Lara..." Rose quickly ended her phone call and wiped away the tears on both cheeks.

"So why are you crying?" Ask Lara who is now sitting next to Rose.

"I-I'm crying because—" Rose racked her brain looking for the right reason because she was afraid that Lara would talk if the reason she was given didn't make sense. "Because my stomach hurts, it's my first day of the month."

"Oh, I thought you were why." Lara nodded her head. "Who were you talking to?"

Deg.

Rose clenched her grip on her phone. "I called Reno's doctor to ask for a prescription for painkillers for months." Lying a second time.

"Ck, why did you ask Dr. Reno. I have the medicine in my room. Just a minute." Lara was about to leave the place to take the medicine she used.

"Wait Lara!" Rose held her sister back to sit down.

Lara finally sat back in confusion especially when she saw the look on her brother's face that looked sad.

"Why brother?"

Rose simply kept silent not answering Lara's question, until she sighed after a long silence.

"You're my brother who's always sloppy, unruly, slow in thought..."

"So if you want to record all my flaws, I'd better get out." Lara did not not want to hear all the shortcomings she had, but she already knew all that without needing to be clarified again.

"Wait for Lara." Rose held back her sister with a smile as she looked at Lara's bent face. "But you're a reliable person to look after all of us." Obviously Rose.

"That's for sure." Lara smiled proudly.

"That's why I believe you can take care of Mom and Lily." Rose took a breath and let it out slowly.

Lara frowned in confusion. "Why are you just Mom and Lily? You don't want me to take care of it?"

Rose laughed as she rubbed her youngest sister's hair. "I can take care of myself."

"Now get me the cure, my stomach hurts."

"Okay, wait a minute!"

Lara came out of the room, leaving Rose to look at her sister and stare back at her phone.

"I'm sorry Mom."

Meanwhile inside her room, Lara opens the nightstand to retrieve the medicine Rose requested. But he frowned as he stared at the pile of pads inside the nightstand

"I haven't worn it at all?" He muttered to himself while remembering the last time he came to the moon. "Wait a minute, don't you." Lara immediately headed for Rose's room with the medicine in her hand.

"Where's the cure?" rose asked as Lara returned to her room.

"It's brother." Lara gave the medicine with a suspicious look. "So did you change my sanitary pad?"

"Changing pads? Whatchu mean?" rose asked confusedly.

"You put on the rest of my bandages and exchange them for new ones?"

"Ck, why am I wearing your bandage, you forgot we're wearing a different brand and Lily's." Rose shook her head.

"Oh yes I forgot, then why my sanitary pad is still intact." Ask with confusion.

"Yes, that means you haven't worn it just like you're confused."

"Yes too." Lara nodded her head despite still being confused.

"Now come out I want to rest." Expel Rose.

Lara leaves Rose's room, though she is still confused as to why she hasn't used her sanitary pad.

"I think I'm late for the moon. But why is it too late?" ask yourself as you go into the room.

But instead of thinking about why he was late for the month, Lara chose to sleep because of sleepiness.
