S2 - Part 9

The following days Miranda passed by were no longer calm, for every day Edgar came just to stand in front of the gate of his house. Not quite there, Edgar followed him wherever Miranda went.

Not to mention the behavior of Lily and Rose who support Edgar to be with Lara. It was strange not the two daughters, because they agreed to Lara and Edgar to get married immediately while they both did not have a partner.

"What do you want?" miranda asked in annoyance, to Edgar who forced her to bring her grocery bag.

"Of course you help Mom."

Well another one that makes Miranda even more upset, because Edgar presumptuously called her Mom.

"I told you not to call me Mom, I wouldn't have an illegitimate child like you." Miranda said with contempt and lying.

Yeah, lying. Because it's far from the bottom of Miranda's heart, it's nice to have a boy like Edgar. Because for almost a month this was always followed Edgar made him accustomed to the presence of the man, and inevitably the affection grew by itself because Edgar always treated him very well.

Edgar always helps her, accompanies her shopping, and is a good listener when Miranda is emotional to someone and vows it to Edgar. Though Miranda always drove away the young man, humiliating him in public places by saying that Edgar was an illegitimate child and many other insults that of course can make Edgar hurt.

But Edgar was never angry with what he was doing, and still continued to follow wherever Miranda went. He did not expect a very evil Nela, blessed with a very good son like Edgar.

"You're my future mother-in-law, so I should've called Mom." Edgar was without the slightest anger by Miranda's impetuous attitude. It was enough that he made a mistake during their first meeting, so Edgar would not repeat his mistake again.

"Give me all my groceries." Miranda asked for back the bag of groceries Edgar was holding. But the man, like deaf, did not rub him at all and continued to walk towards his car. "Next time don't follow me again! You understand." He said after he got in the car, and of course after Edgar put all his groceries in.

Edgar himself only replied with a smile, then let out a long sigh after the car that Mom Miranda was driving away.

"Patience Ed, patience. Remember Lara Collins." Say it to yourself. He had to be more patient because it was so difficult to get Mom Miranda's heart. Even almost a month he was kind, not angry when insulted and reviled in public, but until this moment Miranda was still cold and gluttonous.

Edgar got into the car to Mom Miranda's house of course, and after arriving at the house he could see Lara smiling on the balcony. It was so tired that he just disappeared after seeing his woman's face. Even though they could only stare at each other from a distance, but for Edgar it was enough.

"Come inside!" Edgar said with a half-collapse.

Lara who understood nodded her head. "So, come home, fight again tomorrow!" Lara replies with a smile, then enters the house after getting a nod of the head from Edgar.
