Edgar insisted on defending Lara, forcefully pulling the woman into his arms.

See how Edgar hugs Lara. Miranda, Nela, Robert, and Lily were surprised.

"Don't do Edgar Collins shit! Release Lara!" Robert snapped threateningly at the unstoppable anger again.

"Can't Dad, he's mine."

"What?" Robert frowned in confusion. Miranda and Nela. They were trying to digest the word belonging that Edgar was saying.

"Listen to Lara on the count of three we're running!" whispered Edgar.

"What's? Th-but..."

"Three!" edgar said as he pulled Lara's hand away as both of their parents were confused.

The two ran out of the ballroom room leaving all the invited guests including Robert, Miranda, Nela, and Lily who looked shocked to the point of being speechless. Even so surprised they only realized that Edgar had taken Lara away.

"Why shut up, chase them!" robert orders his men who are now running out of the ballroom.

While Miranda and Nela were still shocked just stared at the departure of their sons and daughters with a look of disbelief, and in the next second both fell down on the floor while calling the names of their children.

"Mom.. Auntie..." Lily is still in shock with what Edgar did to Lara, so confused what to do. "Why is this so?" He muttered to himself.

Meanwhile, Lara and Edgar entered the elevator door. Stare at each other with gasping breaths.

"You okay?" Edgar looked at Lara's stomach without answering the woman's question. Indeed he was worried because it had made the woman who was pregnant with her seeds run around quickly.

Lara nodded her head. "Areally where's Sister Rose?" he repeated the question.

"Your brother ran away."

"What?" lara was surprised. "But how can? And why didn't Brother Rose take me?"

"You.." Edgar mentoyor Lara's head. Something he had wanted to do to a woman who was too innocent and stupid.

"Sister!" Lara rubbed her head with a bent face.

"It's fast!" Edgar rushed out of the open elevator door with Lara's hand.

They walked out of the hotel to Edgar's car. And luckily Edgar always carried the car keys with his wallet in his pants pocket so he did not have to painstakingly run to the hotel room first to pick it up.

"Where are we going now, brother?" Ask Lara after getting in the car.

Edgar did not answer Lara's question, as his focus was now immediately driving his car away from the hotel when he saw behind them three men dressed in black suits running after their car. Those three people must be Dad Robert's bodyguards.

"For while we hide. After everything has died down, we're back." Said Edgar without turning his gaze on the densely creeping streets. Fortunately, the three Robert men did not pursue the vehicle, if not sure they would be caught.

Meanwhile in the ballroom. Robert who was furious at what his son and daughter were doing immediately walked out of the place. He did not care about the invited guests who whispered about the horrendous incident earlier, and the Darwin family who held to account for the failure of their son's marriage. He also did not care about Miranda and Nela who were currently chasing him from behind.

What Robert wants to do now is find Edgar and Lara to see each other, to ask the two why they are ashamed of Collins's surname. Especially to Edgar, who behaves strangely to Lara as if Lara is Edgar's lover when clearly they are brothers though...
