Lara fell silent under the intimidating gaze of Edgar. The man seemed to want to swallow him alive if he did not answer the question this very second.

"Answer Lara!" Edgar gripped his sister's shoulders violently because he was impatient. He wanted to make sure what he had heard wasn't wrong.

"I'm. I'm pregnant sister." Lirih Lara with her head bowed. Not daring to look at the older brother who was certainly surprised, evident from the grip on his shoulder that was loose.

"Oh My God." Only those three words were able to be said by Edgar with a surprised face after hearing Lara's reply. The woman said she was pregnant, and the child Lara conceived was hers. "You sure?" He asked as calmly as possible, even though it felt like Edgar wanted to sink to the bottom of the ocean in order to escape the problems that befall him at this time. Because honestly, he was afraid. Afraid of what would happen if Lara really became pregnant at the time her marriage to Julia would last another week. Coupled with the problems that will occur in the Collins family if until the whole family knows he impregnates Lara, impregnating his own sister.

Lara simply replied with a nod of her head, leaving Edgar in shock and speechless.

Seeing Lara cry Edgar pulled the woman into his arms. Hugging tightly because of guilt has made Lara scared to tears just because she felt depressed and afraid to know Lara's pregnancy.

"Sorry." Said Edgar while lightly tipping Lara's forehead.

Edgar took a deep breath and let out a heavy one. "Our son. And I'll take responsibility for telling the truth to both of our parents to find a solution."

The surprised Lara immediately let go of her embrace. "Sir Edgar sure? What if they're angry? What would it be like to be fired as Mom Miranda's son, and what the people in— say" his words disappeared in the wind as his lips were silenced by a kiss so demanding. Who else would have done it if it wasn't Edgar Collins.

The two kissed for a long time, as if channeling a longing that they realized a forbidden feeling was the same as what they were doing right now.

"Don't be afraid, there's me." Edgar said after releasing his kiss. Slowly wiping Lara's lips made swollen by her.

Now the feeling of fear, confusion that had plagued her heart just disappeared with a change of strength after kissing Lara. Kissing the woman who is now pregnant with her seeds as well as the future mother of the child who will be born.
