Bonchap 2's

This is where Miranda and Nelson are, in a city park after an unexpected encounter between them. Miranda never expected to be reunited with someone from her past who was directly related to the events at the Club a dozen years ago. Likewise with Nelson, he did not expect to be able to meet again with the woman he had helped for many years.

"How are you?" miranda asked first after a long silence.

"good. How's yours?" Nelson asked back.

"My news is not good." Miranda let out a heavy sigh then looked at the man who introduced himself by the name Nelson intensely. "May I ask you something?"

Nelson nodded his head without any intention to ask why the woman was in such a bad state, because he felt that she was not that close to having a more intimate conversation.

"That night at the Club, were you sure you didn't touch me?" Miranda asked cautiously for fear the man was offended.

Nelson was initially confused, but after understanding the question he smiled.

"Do I have to swear?"

Miranda shook her head with a stiff smile, now she felt bad for Nelson for suspecting the man.

"I really don't touch you, believe me." Nelson said as he saw the doubt on Miranda's face.

"I believe it, but the problem is..."

Nelson was just silent, being a good listener for Miranda who was facing a strange household problem. Secretly Nelson felt amazed at the figure of Miranda who looks strong to face all the problems that come and go, especially the problems regarding the girls. According to Nelson, Miranda was good enough as a mother to harbor all her grief for the happiness of her daughters.

"Do I need to testify before your husband so that your problems are clear?" Nelson is happy to help Miranda. It's really weird, isn't it? Nelson, known as a cold-handed businessman, wants to help foreigners for the second time. Because usually Nelson never cared about the affairs and problems of others.

"Sure Nelson, that's what I need." Miranda involuntarily clasped Nelson's hand for being so happy. "I'm sorry I didn't accidentally." He also took off his hand.

"So when? If I can be soon because next week I have to go back to London."

Yes, Nelson did not settle in Jakarta. He only occasionally came to this city to find someone he had long sought.

"So soon, may I have your contact number?"

Nelson nods his head, giving Miranda his mobile number to facilitate the woman's affairs. At least Nelson hopes with him to help Miranda, then his business can be resolved soon.

After talking to Nelson for a long time, Miranda rushed home to remember her daughter Lara. The youngest daughter since birth is not as lucky as her brothers who can feel the affection of a father even if only a little. That's why Miranda named her third daughter Lara, as a reminder of how unfortunate her youngest daughter's fate was. And now he just knows why Robert doesn't care about Lara even though sometimes the man shows his affection secretly, and all that just because of a misunderstanding that happened a dozen years ago.

Miranda promised herself that she would walk away from Robert and never come back, after all the misunderstandings were resolved. Robert's wounds on her may still be forgivable, but Lara's wounds from being neglected for ridiculous reasons will never be forgiven.
