Chapter 15's

Lara stood silently in silence hearing Rue's cry calling out to Apple from inside the room in front of her, while the robber who was accompanying her and Rue walked into the hut smilingly heard her. Struggling a little, Lara knew she had to do something as soon as possible, otherwise, Rue would experience something frightening.

In the room, the chief robber walked up to Rue while taking off his clothes. His face smiled grinningly at Rue who was crying in fear with a deathly pale face. Climbing onto the bed, the big body of the robber chief was piercing the small body of Rue.

"Apple!!!" shouting Rue. His fear was unstoppable anymore, the face of Apple kept on appearing in his mind. He didn't know what was going to happen, but he knew, whatever it was would be terrifying.

The chief robber tore off Rue's shirt and tried to kiss him. Just as he almost managed to kiss the girl, suddenly a loud noise came from outside the house.

"Enemy! We're under attack!!!" shouted one of the robbers who was outside the hut.

Hearing the screams of his men. The chief robber immediately stopped his action. Taking his sword that was on the floor, he dashed out of the room leaving Rue.

"You take care of these two girls, don't let them escape." The commanding officer of the robber to his men who accompanied Rue and Lara.

Nodding quickly, the robber obeyed the command of the chairman. His face was deathly pale, he could clearly hear the sounds of clashing weapons as well as the shouts outside the hut—ada the fight that had taken place.

When he came out of the hut, the chief robber saw his men were fighting the enemy who attacked them. From their appearance, the chief of robbers knew, the ones attacking them were also robbers. It is common for robbers to attack other robbers to seize loot.

"Who are y'all? How dare you attack us?" the chief robber shouted with anger.

"Why don't we dare?" voice of a woman suddenly.

The leader of the robbers turned to the direction the voice came from. A woman and two men about twenty years old were sitting on a horse while looking at the chief of robbers. The woman had short black bob hair with a pair of green eyes. A smile on her beautiful face.

"Because he thinks that they are the strongest here." Said one of the men who was next to the woman with a face full of smiles. The man had brown hair with blue eyes.

"You're right, Vin," one more man laughed. The man had red hair with blue eyes. "But, he's just a fool who doesn't know the vastness of the world."

Nodding, Vin laughed loudly. "You're right, Van. Frogs in the shell."

"Who are y'all? What do you want?" ask the chief robber. The anger in his heart was mounting to hear Vin and Van's insults.

"We are robbers just like you, you fools." Answer Van quickly with a scornful face.

"And we came to rob you, fool" Vin added with a face full of smiles.

The anger of the chief robber was not stifled anymore to hear Vin and Van's answer. He felt extremely humiliated by the answers of those who kept calling him stupid. Pulling out his sword, he stared at them lustfully killing.

There was no fear on the black-haired woman's face beside Vin and Van saw the robber chief, in fact, the smile on her beautiful face widened.

"Looks like he's trying to attack us." Vin laughed loudly. His blue eyes sparkled happily.

"Foolish base," smiled, Van got off his horse to face the chief robber. However, before his feet stepped on the ground, the woman beside him had jumped down from the horse. "He's my part."

"Let me face that fool." Said Van quickly. But, the black-haired lady did not care about his words, she had run towards the robber chief at high speed.

Meanwhile, inside the hut, the robbers in charge of guarding Lara were very confused. He peeked out through the window wanting to make sure things were right. His eyes that just kept looking out through the window did not notice the girl beside him at all anymore.

Lara did not waste the opportunity in plain sight. Moving as quickly as he approached the robber, he raised his left leg and kicked the robber right at his vital area.

Raising her right elbow, Lara smashed the head of the robber fiercely. The robber immediately sprawled on the floor unconscious once he received the attack.

Not wasting time, Lara immediately pulled out a short knife that was on the robber's waist to cut the rope that tied her hands.

After the rope that tied her hands came off, Lara ran towards the room where Rue was. He found the golden-haired girl in a state of shock on the bed. His body trembled violently with his torn top shirt. Her green eyes were filled with fear and tears were rushing down.

Lara walked over to Rue, her face filled with worry, "Rue..." Call slowly.

As soon as she saw Lara, Rue got up from the bed and ran over to her. Lara immediately hugged the girl tightly to calm her who kept crying. "It's okay, relax, it's okay..."

Lara knew, the time they had was not much. He immediately opened the rope that tied Rue's hand and wiped away her tears "We must quickly leave this place."

Rue simply nodded his head. Her tears had stopped, but fear was still clearly visible on her face. Lara took the small blanket that was on top of the bed and covered Rue's body.

"Come on!" lara said as she grabbed Rue's hand and ran out of the hut.

As he exited the hut, Rue and Lara's eyes grew in shock. In front of them the robbers who caught them were fighting against the invading enemy.

Rue and Lara see the chief robber is fighting a woman. Agilely, the woman attacked the chief of robbers with two knives in hand. However, the chief robber managed to dodge all the attacks directed at him.

Smiling, the woman looked at the merry robber chief. It turned out that his opponent was not as weak as he thought.

The robber chief could not possibly continue to let his opponent attack. Starting to attack the woman, he swung the sword in his right hand.

The black-haired woman dodged the robber leader's attack. Jumping backwards away from his opponent, he smiled grinning. Raising his right hand a violet colored magic circle appeared in front of him.

The chief robber was very surprised to see what the woman was doing. She did not expect that she could also use magic. Reciting a magic spell, from within the magic circle of the woman, an electric shock shot rapidly towards the chief of robbers.

The chief robber did not manage to dodge the magic attack completely. The magic hit his hand that was holding the sword. The sword he was holding fell to the ground. The attack he received was not severe. However, the lightning magic made his body numb for a while.

As the numbness in the body of the chief robber rolled back, the woman had been in front of him. Pasting both blades on the neck of the robber chief, he smiled widely with eyes sparkling with joy. "If you still want to live, tell your men to stop attacking."

The chief robber knew what the woman was saying was not an empty threat. That woman would really kill him if he didn't stop his men. "You all stop!" scared screams.

Hearing the cry of the chief robber, all his men stopped attacking their enemies.

"Good! We're not gonna kill you. We'll just take all your loot." The woman laughs at him.

Hearing the woman's words, Lara realized, who was in front of them was also a robber. Pulling Rue's hand, he immediately ran towards the back of the hut which was the best alternative he had. But suddenly before them, ice bars appeared around them forming a cage.

Stopping, Rue and Lara looked back. Not far from the two of them, Vin stood smiling with a magic circle in front of him, "Mire, it looks like we managed to get an unexpected booty." His word.

Hearing Vin's words, the black-haired woman who was fighting the robber chief leaned towards Rue and Lara. A smile filled her beautiful face again.

Lara sighed not saying anything. But deep down he felt very upset. He and Rue actually came out of the crocodile's mouth into the tiger's mouth. As for Rue, she who was still very frightened just stood beside Lara while tightly grasping her hands.
