Chapter 19's

Apple and Calix walk down the Bold mountain. The blood-red eyes of Apple looked around them, trying to look for traces of the robbers who kidnapped Rue and Lara.

During this time, the bold mountain was not a mountain prone to robbers. But, lately suddenly emerged robbers who often rob traders and pedestrians who pass through the mountain. According to available information, the headquarters of the robbers are also inside this mountain, only no one knows for sure the location of their headquarters.

Calix looked at the Apple that was walking in front of him without saying anything. Calix feels very guilty, he feels because of Rue and Lara kidnapped by robbers. If only he hadn't held back the Apples in Radiata city, perhaps this wouldn't have happened.

Sighing and gazing at the blue sky above him, Calix thought of Esthel who was already heading towards Cardolan, the capital of the Arthorn kingdom now.

"Esthel, I'll help Apple find Rue and Lara. Therefore, can you help me convey what is happening right now to my mother in the capital of Cardolan?" calix told Esthel.

Esthel looked at Calix's face without saying anything. He knew, Calix felt guilty towards Apple for what happened, moreover their situation now did not allow them to conduct a massive search and send out the soldiers.

"I have to help Apple find Rue, I owe her too much. The help of the city of Cirrion has arrived, and I also think that the kingdom of Ormund will not attack again in the near future."

Esthel understood Calix's intentions, and to be honest, she herself felt very guilty as well. When Apple was willing to return to Radiata city to help Calix, he said he would take care of Rue. However, he failed. Rue was kidnapped right before his eyes, and he could do absolutely nothing.

"I understand. Whatever happens you have to find both of them." Esthel said later.

"Sure!" Reply Calix briefly.

"Are you sure the information you're getting is true?" ask Apple suddenly.

Calix was quite surprised by Apple's sudden question, because, the young man was always silent during their journey. However, he immediately answered the question with confidence "Yes, I believe the information is correct."

Hearing Calix's reply, Apple went back silent and asked nothing more.

Calix looked back at Apple, and in his eyes the young man did not look like he always did. He did not know the young man for long, but he knew, Apple is a very calm person and can control his emotions. But for Apple who was in front of him now, despite looking very calm, the aura around him clearly did not say so— anger felt very clear around him.

The apple that was walking in front of Calix suddenly stopped.

"What's up, Apple?" ask Calix confused.

Apples did not answer Calix's question, the young man suddenly darted rapidly towards the bushes not far in front of them. Calix was very surprised to see the action of Apple, and without saying anything more, he immediately ran after him.

As Calix arrived behind the bushes, he saw Apple strangling the neck of a man his age. The man had brown hair and eyes and wore glasses. His face was deathly pale, it was obvious he was very surprised by the sudden presence of Apples.

"W-who are you?" asked the man, full of fear.

"Apple, stop! Unhand her! He's not a robber." Calix panicked. The man before them was definitely not a robber. Judging from his black robe with the emblem of a magic circle on his back, he knew, this man was a magician from Erfin's magic college.

"W-who are you?" ask the man again. The man was extremely frightened when he saw the blood red eyes of Apple staring intently at his brown eyes.

Calix walked up to the two of them. Raising her hand to the hand of Apple that was strangling the man's neck, she tried to let go. "Sorry, we've scared you."

The man coughed as Apple released his hand which strangled the man's neck.

"Sorry, are you okay?" ask Calix to worry.

The man nodded his head and looked at the faces of Apple and Calix, though fear was still evident on his face.

"Thank God" Smile Calix.

"Have you seen two girls or robbers on this mountain?" apple asked suddenly, her red eyes fixedly staring at the man.

"N-no, I have not met at all with two girls or robbers on this mountain. I only came to this mountain to pick herbs to make potions." Obviously the guy was quick. An overwhelming fear filled his heart again as their eyes met.

"so yeah. All right, thanks and sorry to surprise you." Calix felt very worried about the man in front of them right now. But, he could tell her, who could stand being stared at by an Apple like that? Therefore, after making sure the man was okay, he and Apple walked away. However, just a few steps were taken, the man suddenly shouted to stop them. "Wait on! Do you know a guy with blond hair and sky blue eyes?"

Hearing the man's question, Apples and Calix stopped their footsteps and turned their gazes around.

"Yesterday, I helped a blond, blue-eyed man in this mountain. He was exhausted and still unconscious at Erfin magic college."
