Chapter 296

"Han Beng, before will you forgive me?" ask Hok Cu.

Han Beng kissed the girl's fragrant hair.

"Of course, there's no need to even apologize from me because whatever you've done, I assume it's over and gone. Well, tell me." said Han Beng who was getting curious.

"Before, when we parted, I was ten years old!" hok Cu started the story.

"Yes, yes, and I'm twelve years old." replied Han Beng who listened to the story of Hok Cu.

"I was helped by Mo Li who later became my teacher." continued Hok Cu.

 "And I became a disciple of the lute fighter Hua Li who was continued by King p3ngemis Kwe Ong." continued Han Beng.

"When I was brought home by Mo Li and taken in a disciple, he had used this needle to stab my left arm. Look, Han Beng, you see these little red spots?" asked Hok Cu who then rolled up his left sleeve and brought his arm closer together.

Small arms and smooth white skin. Han Beng couldn't bear to not touch the skin with that soft smooth one with his nose.

"Your arms are beautiful, Hok Cu" said Han Beng who praised.

Hok Cu felt how all the feathers on his body bristled when his arm was kissed by Han Beng, then pulled the arm.

"Ihhh, Han Beng, listen to my story and look at this red spot under the elbow. Did you see him?" ask Hok Cu.

"I saw it. That red spot adds beauty to your arm." replied Han Beng.

"Stop that seduction and listen carefully. That spot was the result of a needle prick from Mo Li, it meant an evil poisonous needle once!" hok Cu.

"Eh....!" Now all the excitement flew from Han Beng's head and he looked wide open turned into worry.

"Toxic fragrances? However, it must have happened a dozen years ago and until now you are still healthy and strong?" ask the curious Han Beng.

"The poison will only work if the spots disappear, Han Beng." explained Hok Cu.

"But it's been a dozen years not gone, afraid of what? Let the speck not vanish, not detract from the beauty of your arm" said Han Beng who furrowed both eyebrows.

"But, once that spot disappears, within a month my life will be drifting and no medicine in this world will be able to save me" Hok Cu said.

"But... but.. the speck is still there and.." said the unfinished Han Beng.

"Yes, that red spot would disappear if I were not a virgin anymore" Hok Cu said.

"Hhh....!" exclaimed Han Beng who looked at his lover's face with wide eyes.

Only now did he understand why from earlier his lover cried, if Hok Cu married him which means to be his wife, within a month he would die of poisoning.

"That's why I can't be your wife, Han Beng!" hok Cu said with his eyes glazed back.

Suddenly Han Beng jumped to his feet and pulled the girl's hand. Hok Cu also jumped to his feet and looked puzzled.

"Let's go now!" yell Han Beng.

"Ehhh? Where to?" ask the curious Hok Cu.

Apparently anger had made Han Beng turn cruel and sadistic, even if it was only in words.

They did not talk anymore, ran fast and Hok Cu gave everything to her lover. His heart was relieved because after all, the secret was not borne by himself, it had now been opened to Han Beng. Even her future husband is now taking over from her to find a way out.

It was noon when they arrived at the fort, greeted by Yap officers who looked tired from the overnight raid.

But it turned out that the gloominess of the Yap officer's face was not only because of fatigue, and it was only known to Han Beng and Hok Cu who came and asked about the whereabouts of Mo Li.

"We hope that the officers will allow us to talk briefly with the captive MobLi. There is a very important personal matter that we want to discuss with Mo Li" Han Beng said.

Hearing this officer Yap kicked the table.

"Brakkk....!"

"this! Just now we were scolding the officers, but all the blame lay on the shoulders of the four dead guards. How wretched! Damn them!" officer Yap exclaimed in annoyance.

"What happened, officer?" asked Hok Cu who was confused to see the high-ranking officer.

"Overnight, Mo Li had vanished from within his cell!" replied Officer Yap who was still upset.

"Hhh...!" exclaimed Han Beng, and now Han Beng's face turned a little pale so shocked and disappointed.

"How did that happen?" continue asking the curious Han Beng.

"Nobody knows how it happened. However, there was a soldier who that night, before he left the guard duty to serve elsewhere, saw Mo Li who was sweet and familiar with the four guards, they look friendly. No one knows. The four of them were killed in the guard and Mo Li was no longer in custody. The door to the prison room was not damaged, so it was not opened by force." explained Officer Yap.   

"Is there no possibility that the prisoner was assisted by an outsider who molested him?" han Beng asked furrowing his brows.

"All possibilities exist, but care is so strict that it is difficult for outsiders to enter unnoticed. At least, the four people on guard duty certainly held a desperate resistance and gave a sign of danger. But there was absolutely no resistance, absolutely no shouting or other danger" said Officer Yap.

"Sorry, Officer! How did the four people die? Are there any injuries or other signs?" ask Hok Cu who is curious.

Pwrwira Yap furrowed her brows and shook her head.

"It's very strange. There are no wounds. Only two of them died with their blue mouths blackened.." jawwb officer Yap slowly.

"Hm, the kiss of death.....I" cried Hok Cu, calm but he also furrowed his eyebrows because he could already guess how the female demon of his former teacher managed to escape.
