The Adventure of the Kecapi

The Adventure of the Kecapi
Chapter 89

"Our intention to pit the sheep at the cobra school has failed. And it seems that the cobra did not steal the treasure" said Lim Bao, who was secretly lurking as everyone gathered in front of the gate of the cobra school.

"We must find a better strategy to lure out the treasure thief so that we can seize him!" one of Lim Bao's men.

Everyone nodded their heads while holding their chins and knitting their eyebrows together.

After deliberating for a long time they finally found a tactic that they considered very good to lure out the thief of the treasure asseli contested.

"We broadcast that we have found the treasure and we take it down the mountain. Of course they will come and try to take it from us. We just have to see, if there are those who do not come to try to seize the treasure, it means that among them is the thief. If the treasure had been on him, he would not have believed the news and would not have bothered us" Lim Bao said.

"I agree commander!"

"I agree too!"

After all agreed and the troops were aware of the strategy played by their leader, the, they began to broadcast the news that the treasure had been found by government forces led by Commander Lim Bao and that the troops would bring the treasure down the mountain.

If the news that the treasure was in the cobra's college was enough to cause chaos, this second news was even more shocking.

The first news is just an allegation that the cobra colleges are the thieves and that is without any evidence. But now Commander Lim Bao has found the treasure and his army is bringing the treasure down the mountain.

That meant that now there was evidence of it and of course everyone who was looking for the treasure became in an uproar and in droves they were about to see for themselves and if possible seize it.

After preparing everything, one morning, a group of troops led by Commander Liim Bao down the mountain escorted a wheelbarrow where there were two large crates.

Seeing how some of the soldiers pushed the car hard, some even helped by pulling it from the front, it could be seen that the two black crates were certainly heavy.

Lim Bao and his twelve auxiliary officers on horseback were at the front, accompanied by horsemen. At the rear were twenty more horsemen led by an officer.

Dozens of other soldiers were on foot. The carriage or wheelbarrow was in the middle, heavily guarded.

On this slow journey down the mountain, the group was interrupted several times by those who tried to seize the coffin.

But the bullies were easily repulsed by Lim Bao and his officers, some were killed and others fled.

Quietly Lim Bao noted those who had attempted to seize the coffins as people who had not stolen any treasures at all. Those who had stolen and possessed the treasure would definitely not be willing to try to snatch the chest and could surmise that it was empty.

Only the one who has not obtained the treasure will try to snatch the chest he brought down the mountain. He took notice and took note of those who did not show up to snatch the coffin. They or one of them is the thief.

The further down, the more people tried to snatch away the crates on the cart. Even began to emerge warriors from large gatherings.

The first to appear was a red-stick beggar association led by the chief Kui himself. They consisted of about seventy people and they were facing the open and sloping part of the slope, which was a vast meadow.

The two groups were currently facing off and Commander Lim Bao snapped loudly.

"Hey! You're a beggar's party, what to stand in our way!"

"Commander Lim Bao, leave the treasure chest, then you and your troops can continue the journey down the mountain!"

"Basic dirty beggar! How dare you take the royal property!" exclaim Lim Bao with growl.

"It was not us who robbed, but you, Commander Lim! The treasure that is entitled is the Liu family, but you have robbed it. We just want to give back to the rightful!" exclaimed Chairman Kui who was staring at Lim Bao sharply.

"Ho..ho....! I don't care about you son of a bitch! Move aside the rotten kingpin!" maki Lim Bao jumped down, followed by twelve of his auxiliary officers and they had pulled the cleaver.

Judging from the attitude of the chairman of Kui, Lim Bao already knew that the treasure was not in the society of red stick beggars, but he felt the need to eradicate the beggars who were against the Mongol Empire.

Lim Bao had already jumped up and attacked Chairman Kui with his machete. Then this Chief Kui also moved his red baton, fending off and counterattacking.

Twelve of Lim Bao's auxiliary officers were also welcomed by members of the red-level beggars, and there was a battle between the two groups.

Lim Bao's pace was still too formidable for chairman Kui so he started to be pushed by the rolling rays of cleaver. Also his aides were not strong against Lim Bao's officers. Moreover, the red stick beggars were outnumbered, while the soldiers who became Lim Bao's men were the strong choice soldiers from the Mongol army.

Many members of the red baton beggars were either killed or wounded. Chairman Kui himself also suffered injuries to his shoulder, this chairman realized that if the battle continued, surely his side lost and would fall more casualties.

So regretfully Chairman Kui then jumped back and signaled to his members to retreat and escape.

After learning that his opponent had escaped, the troops led by Lim Bao continued their journey. After they left, only then did members of the red stick beggars appear to care for their wounded friends and take care of their dead friends.

Subsequent backup was made by the cobra college troupe which was stronger and was a heavy opponent for Lim Bao and his troops. The cobra college students were led by Thio Kong himself, assisted by three brothers and led eighty more men.

"Oh...! apparently the cobra school that blocked the Royal troop! What do you want to stop us!" snapped Lim Bao who spread his gaze to the surroundings
