But his attention was immediately drawn to a man who had been sitting in a room next to the front room which was the guest room in the house.
The man was about fifty years old, but his face still looked handsome even though his hair was partially bleached.
The man who had been sitting down and bowing his face, now raised his face and looked at Hua Li with full eyes.
Hua Li immediately raised both hands in front of his chest and bowed to pay his respects.
"Uncle, please forgive me for daring to come face-to-face uninvited. Please respect me Hua Li, uncle." said Hua Li kindly.
"Miss Li, my name is Sin Yang. I have heard from my children that you are a warrior who has high silat so as to defeat my two sons. It amazes me because actually, at this time there are rarely young people who will be able to defeat my two sons" said the man named Sin Yang.
"Oh, Dad! Make it a shame to praise us even though we are absolutely unable to match Miss Hua," said Sin Lin.
"Miss Hua, please sit down" Sin Lan said, pointing to a chair facing her father.
"Thank you," said Hua Li who then sat on the chair.
After Hua Li sat down, Sin Lin Dan Sin Lan immediately took a seat on the seat that was to the right of their father's left.
"Miss, my two sons can only tell that you are named Hua Li, but they do not know your history. Can you tell me where your parents are, who they are and where they live?" asked Sin Yang who looked at Hua Li full of probing.
"My mother has passed away, uncle. I used to get carried away by floodwaters and lived around the Yellow River. I was saved and cared for by a couple who became my adoptive parents. My adoptive mother has passed away while my adoptive father lives in the Yellow Bamboo village." Hua Li replied.
"Ah, does your adoptive father still have anything to do with the yellow bamboo college, which is a mighty valiant people who dare to rebel over the arbitrary authority of the Ming kingdom?" asked Sin Yang who furrowed his brows.
"Yes right uncle." said Hua Li demgan with sparkling eyes.
"Come! Then who is your foster father? Is it Hua Tian who is the head of the yellow bamboo college?" ask Sin Yang who is getting excited.
"Yes right uncle, my adoptive father and teacher's name is Hua Tian!" answer Hua Li.
"Dad, what's wrong?" asked the curious Sin Lin but Sin Yang seemed to ignore what one of his sons was asking.
"Miss Hua, tell me the truth. Where and how did you get the harp, while you lived in the stream of the yellow river?" asked the curious Sin Yang.
Hua Li was surprised because suddenly Sin Yang's question concerned the lute he always carried, the male's eye light and his voice was full of demands.
"Uncle Sin, this harp was with me when I found my father and adoptive mother. And while I was in the Manchu kingdom, I met my mother's best friend and she said this harp belonged to my biological mother when I was young." it was clearly Hua Li who was getting curious about the look on Sin Yang's face.
"Who is your real mother's name? is his name Siauw Eng?" asked Sin Yang who was trying to guess.
"Right Uncle, said my mother's best friend that my birth mother's name was Siauw Eng." replied Hua Li who furrowed both eyebrows.
The man's face turned pale and his lips trembled, then he hugged the lute that Hua Li had placed on the table tightly and there was a sobbing and rumbling of the man.
Hua Li was stunned. Of course there is a close relationship between his biological mother and this man, he thought.
"Uncle, may I know if aunt knows my real mother?" hua Li asked who was curious about the behavior of Sin Lan and Sin Lin's father.
Sin Yang who had raised the lute on the table, upon hearing Hua Li's words, immediately limped and drooped while continuing to hug the lute in his chest and then began to cry again.
The two sons looked at each other and turned to Hua Li.
"Sister Lan, don't be!" Sin Lin denounced his brother.
"Sin Lan, Miss Hua is innocent of nothing, don't be rude to her" said Sin Yang who wiped his tears.
"But dad!" it was Sin Lan who did not accept it.
"You'd better sit down, and listen to Dad's story!" sin Yang Exclamation.
The two sons then followed his father's orders to sit in his original chair.
Sin Yang then handed the lute to Hua Li and he had already wiped all the tears from both of his cheeks. His face was restored and red again.
At that moment, a half-old woman dressed as a housekeeper, came in carrying a tray filled with four cups, a large pot of tea water and some kind of pastry on a plate. After arranging the treat on the table, the butler resigned.
"Come, you and the other servants must not enter this room before I call." Sin Yang said.
"Okay sir" said the lady's servant, bowing and leaving the room or the guest room, not forgetting to close the door when she came out.
Then Sin Lan invited Hua Li to drink tea water poured in a cup by Sin Lan.
"I'm sorry Miss Hua, I can't help but be sad to see this lute, even more so to hear your dead birth mother" said Sin Yan, who looked at Hua Li.
"Do you know Miss Hua's mother who has passed away?" asked Sin Lan who looked at her father curiously.
"Dad, who is Siauw Eng, and why is it that you are sad to hear he died?" asked Sin Lin.
Sin Yang took a deep breath and then took it out slowly.
"If only Ms. Hua had not appeared with this lute, this secret would have been brought to death because there was no connection with you. But now that I don't want to make the three of you guess what it's not, then I better tell you about my experience when I was a teenager and not married to both of you're mothers." said Sin Yang who tried to tell the past events.
"Well, so Miss Hua's mother was my father's girlfriend" asked Kui Lin.
"Sister Lin, shut up and listen to dad's story!" Sin Lan rebuked his sister.
