Chapter 37

"Ma'af brothers, why are you two bothering me while I'm in the shower? and who are you guys?" hua Li asked with a slight restraint on her emotions.

The midget man who had fallen was about to forbid his sister to introduce their family, but his sister had already spoken. So he kept quiet and just rebuked his sister with a look in his eyes. Meanwhile, the skinny one pretended not to know about his brother's anger.

 "I'm Sin Lin And my brother Sin Lan, we're from the White Stork college. Please forgive us for our messiness, miss." said the skinny man who turned out to be named Sin Lin.

"If my name is Hua Li," Hua Li said briefly.

"Where do you live?" asked Sin Lin.

"I'm a wanderer, I don't have a place to live" Hua Li replied as she smiled.

  "Then what was your intention and purpose in coming here?"

"So I said I was a wanderer. So I just head to wherever my heart and feet take me." Hua Li explained.

 "Was.." said Sin Lin who was then cut by his brother Midget.

"Sister, you are so outrageous, questioning a guest like a judge examining a patient. It's not polite!" reprimanded Sin Lan who was staring at his sister's face.

"Ah, big brother Lan, we as the host must know who the guest is. No, Miss Hua?" sin Lin said and asked Hua Li for support.

Hua Li only commented on her smile, and she did not want to engage further with them.

Suddenly the sky was so dark and the wind roared with its firmness.

"Wuu.....! wuzz...wuzz....!"

"It looks like there's going to be a storm tonight, you better come with us. So that the lady will not be caught in the storm later." invite Sin Lin who was worried about Hua Li.

Hua Li looked up indeed the sky was so dark and the wind was so strong.

"All right, I'm coming with you" said Hua Li, who saw the eyes of the two men who thought they were good people.

The three then set foot into the dense forest and it turned out that after arriving in the middle, the road began to climb a hill.

The White Stork College was in the Thousand Flowers Valley located on a small hillside and after walking about four miles away, they came outside a garden full of colorful and beautiful trees and flowers.

The park is very spacious, there are diverse bamboo groves, there are also beautiful ordered bushes, and, the meadows and flowers were many kinds and most had never been encountered by Hua Li.

It is not an empty name if the place is called the Valley of a Thousand Flowers, because there are so many flowers around it.

Hua Li stood up and looked in admiration. The vast garden was surrounded by a wall fence that was only half his body high so that he could see the plants behind the fence.

Very broad and there are paths made of white flat stones. From there looks a bit far away a house stands majestically in the middle of the park, and here and there are also small buildings without walls which are resting places, along with fish ponds.

The park is made like a hilly area, some protruding and declining here and there so it is very unsightly. The small, clear stream flowed in the middle of the garden, winding and presumably it was this river that penetrated to the edge of the forest where he had bathed earlier.

"Miss Hua, now we send you to our house there. But there was a rule from our mother that only guests who were able to penetrate this park were acceptable to visit. Therefore, please miss enter the park and find a way to our house there," Sin Lan said in a calm voice.

"Sorry, there's no signpost here, Miss!" sin Lan replied while commenting on her smile.

"But if you want to follow us, please if you can!" sin Lin exclaimed with a laugh, with his mocking attitude.

"Well, I'll try to follow you" he said.

The two men without speaking again entered the park through the red-painted gate. Hua Li hurriedly followed them.

Sin Lin And Sin Lan looked down too much on the girl behind him.

Hua Li recalled what Sin Lin had said earlier that challenged him, as if he would not be able to follow them.

The girl was getting further away from them. Letting the Midget and the skinny one think that he is unable to follow them.

Seeing that the two men had already run some distance away, Hua Li smiled and immediately exerted a lightening stance to chase after them.

His body flashed as fast as flying. He saw the two men, who were running over the path, turning left and covered in a clump of yellow bamboo. When he arrived near the bamboo grove and looked, the two men had vanished.

"Hemm, you can take shortcuts which however, I will still be able to get ahead of you" Hua Li said with a sigh of laughter.

Now he cared no more about the two men, not wanting to follow in their footsteps but to take his own path to their home before them.

So, on the four-way road he took the road that went straight towards the house.

The vegetation prevented him from seeing the building, but he was sure that the path must have led to the building ahead as he had seen it before the tall bushes blocked his vision.

After passing through a fairly long row of bushes and arriving at an unobstructed place, he looked ahead and the house no longer seemed to be in front of him.

He was astonished then turned to the left and it turned out that the building was now on his left, only not as close as before, but further away.

   Ah, the path he followed had certainly turned without him noticing so he instead stayed away from the building, not approaching! Now the building was visible again and he quickly ran to follow the path that led to the building. There were again trees blocking his vision and after he ran for a long time, he wondered why he had not yet arrived at the visible building.

Hua Li ran faster and passed through the group of trees blocking his vision then looked forward. The building disappeared again and after he looked around, it looked to his right, getting further and further away.
