Lucius is furious, his plan to enjoy Cristal's body fails miserably. All because of Gail who came suddenly and disturbed his pleasure. He really wanted to know why the man did this. They had not been hostile to each other before, he had never even offended the person who Gail had been superior to then why did the man save Cristal?

The two men he had assigned to find out about Cristal were kneeling behind him at this moment. Two of his men were being punished because they did not get accurate information according to Lucius. They should have known that Cristal was in a relationship with Gail Bernard.

It was not that he was afraid, he was not afraid of the young man but if he knew then he would take Cristal away from that place. Not only did his plan fail, but he had to endure the embarrassment of being humiliated by Gail Bernard.

A bottle of liquor was in hand, two of his men were already battered. They both looked helpless, the death penalty they had definitely obtained. Lucius sipped his drink until it ran out and after that an empty bottle was thrown towards the two fruits.

"You're both losers!" shouted Lucius. The gun was unplugged and after that two hot lead shot rapidly towards his two men. The bullet ransomed the heads of his two men and killed them in that place as well.

All his men were shocked, no one dared to make a sound. Lucius looked at his two dead men, it was a reward worth it for his men who could not carry out their duties properly.

"Find out what Gail has to do with Cristal Aaron. I don't want any more failures. Monitor them both and tell me whatever you see!" his orders. Both hands clenched tightly, Gail Bernard had to die and Cristal Aaron had to be hers. Whatever he's gonna do to get Cristal.

As Gail expected, Lucius would not stop and indeed he would not stop. He's not the one who's going to give up on what he wants. Gail's really in trouble, so is Cristal. They were both Lucius's targets.

The sound of knocking on the door woke Cristal that morning. Cristal did not budge, her daughter and mother-in-law came out of the room. As usual, Cristal put a finger on the lips as a sign so that they do not make a sound because it could be out there is a debt collector.

The door was knocked back, Cristal hugged her daughter tightly. He did not dare to go out to look. He hoped that the person at the door would leave immediately but the one at the door was Gail. He came to deliver the bag and also Cristal's clothes that he took from the club.

He wanted to call but he forgot to ask what was the name of the woman he had helped twice. Gail could only knock on the door without being able to call. Since there was no response, Gail tried to peek at the window, strange. Where did that woman go?

"Mom," Angela looked at her mother as the sound of knocking on the door was still heard.

Cristal was very surprised, usually the debt collectors would knock on his door without stopping. Their cries would be heard even they would not hesitate to kick the door of his house. Cristal still thinks he's reminded of Gail who's going to get her things at the nightclub. Is that the guy coming?

Cristal wanted to move on but her mother-in-law held back because she was afraid something might happen with her daughter-in-law.

"Don't, Cristal," her mother-in-law shook her head.

"I just want to peek, Mom. Please bring Angela into the room, don't open the door if anything happens" Cristal said.

"Then what about you?"

"I can take care of myself, Mommy and Angela go back into the room."

Her mother-in-law nodded and brought Angela into the room. Cristal picked up a stick that he had always hidden. The wand will indeed be used when certain circumstances. Cristal stepped closer to the window cautiously. Anyone outside of him should be careful.

The curtain slightly opened, a young man standing his back to the door. It seemed like it was indeed Gail but her vigilance made her unable to believe it just like that. With courage, Cristal decided to open the door. This was the first time he opened the door when someone knocked, hopefully not a debt collector.

Gail looked at the circular clock in her hand, why so long? He has to go home and work. If Cristal doesn't come out as well then he'll leave but there's no harm in knocking back on the door. While standing back at the door, Gail wanted to knock again. He really didn't know Cristal had already opened the door because Cristal was doing it slowly and unexpectedly, which he knocked on was Cristal's forehead.

"Law... Auw... sick!" Cristal brushed off his hand that knocked on his forehead three times.

Gail was surprised, she immediately turned away. Cristal glared at him while holding his forehead.

"Can't you tell the difference between a forehead and a door?" ask Cristal annoyed.

"Sorry, I don't see."

"Ck, what are you coming for? Don't scare me so early in the morning!"

"I just want to drop off your things, sorry if I'm bothering you," Gail gave Cristal a bag and other things.

"Te-Thank you," Cristal wasn't feeling well.

"If so I go" said Gail because she had to go to work.

"I'm very grateful, I don't know what to repay your kindness with, but when noon comes to the restaurant, I'll treat you to lunch as my thanks" Cristal said. That was all he could do to repay Gail's kindness.

Gail was very happy but she could cover her pleasure with her feet. Cristal even meant that Gail was not interested in his offer. Just having lunch, that guy would have been able to.

"I'll be there, send me the address."

"Alright, maybe just regular food so I hope you're not disappointed."

"No problem, I'll come but now I have to go."

"Again thanks."

Gail did not reply, she had already stepped away towards the car. Cristal was still standing in front of the door until the man left. The mother-in-law and her daughter came out of the room, they approached Cristal who had entered the house.

"Who's that, Cristal?"

"An acquaintance, Mom," Cristal stepped towards the sofa as she opened her bag. All he wanted to grab was his phone but he was shocked by the dollar bill rolled up in the bag.

Cristal took the money, freak. It wasn't his money and he didn't have that kind of money either. Cristal was still astonished, where'd the money come from?

"Well, Mommy has a lot of money" Angela said.

"No, this isn't it?"

"So Angela can eat pizza today. Right, Mom?"

"If so, please buy Mommy some medicine, Cristal," said her mother-in-law.

Cristal did not answer but her tears fell suddenly. The daughter and mother-in-law were shocked, especially Cristal to the point of sobbing while hugging her daughter. There was no need for him to ask, it seemed like the young man was the one who left the money inside his bag. I don't know what the man did, he really wasn't feeling good and he didn't expect to meet such a good person either. How does he thank you? He really wanted to know why that man did that.
