The atmosphere was already quiet out there, Leona was very curious as to what was happening but she did not dare to come out. I don't know what his father did that Gail came to them but he could shoot if his father had made a fatal mistake that made Gail so angry.

The firearm he picked up he didn't let go of, he'll be out in a minute. If anything happens to his father, he won't hesitate to kill Gail. Even if he liked the man but he wouldn't let his father be killed.

Out there, Gail doesn't move on the floor. The blood from his injured head was still flowing. That makes Leon suspicious, don't tell him Gail died just because of that one blow. He didn't expect it to happen and he hoped Gail didn't die.

"Wake, Gail. Don't pretend to be dead!" leon said, but Gail didn't move.

Leon orders his men to check on Gail's condition, two men moving toward Gail with two pistols in hand. They moved closer carefully, the gun pointed towards Gail's body lying on her stomach.

Gail's body was kicked, there was no reaction whatsoever, the two men looked at Leon and shook their heads. Leon looked surprised, there was no way Gail would actually die.

"Check it right!" loud shouting.

The men kicked Gail back, not only kicking but they stepped on her but there was no reaction at all.

"He's dead, sir," said the man. It could have happened because Gail had received a lot of punches.

"Damn!" Leon cursed furiously, so that was just what Gail Bernard was capable of? It turned out to be very disappointing, he had actually misplaced high expectations on his former assistant. Dead, there was nothing he could do anymore.

Leon moved and approached Gail. Although Gail died but at least she was not too disappointed because she was not defeated by her former assistant.

"You really let me down, Gail," Leon said after standing on Gail's side, not moving at all.

"Look, I won. If you accept my offer from the start then you won't die a miserable death like this. Look at you lying here, how pathetic!" leon sneered.

The strong candidate to be his successor no longer existed. There seems to be no other way than to ask Leona to marry and make her descendants as future successors.

"Ck, what a disappointment!" Leon turned his steps, he was about to return but without his knowledge suddenly, Craasshhhh.

Arggghhhhh!! leon's screams rang out, his men were shocked,. Leon looked down where one leg had broken off, he even fell down because he lost his balance. Leon screamed in pain while holding onto one of his severed legs but his eyes glared as someone stood before his eyes and a sword was already under his neck.

"If anyone dares to move or shoot, then his neck is off!" threaten Gail because Leon's men are already pointing guns at her. No one dared to move, it was all in its place.

"Ga-Gail," Leon looked in disbelief. How could Gail not be dead?

"Why? Do you think you're the only one who can use cunning, Leon? Do you really think I could die so easily? I pretended to get you close but stupidly you got lured in easily and walked up to me!"

"How dare you trick me, Gail?!" shouted Leon while enduring the pain.

"Kc... Ck, look at you, Leon," said Gail. His bloodstained sword was still under Leon's neck. Although his head hurt, his whole body also hurt but he tried to survive. Blood was still flowing from the wound on the head, he hoped that he would not die before finishing off Leon as well as Lucius.

"Kill him!" shouting Leon.

"You dare? I'll make sure after chopping off his head, it's all of you!" threaten Gail's.

"Don't be stupid and don't listen to him. Immediately kill, this is my order!" shouted Leon furiously.

Leon's men began to look at each other, as if they were making a decision. They looked back at Gail and Leon, a decision they made. The weapon in hand was thrown on the floor, starting from one person and then another following.

Leon couldn't believe seeing what his men were doing, there wasn't a single one that didn't throw weapons. From pistols to sticks, all thrown on the floor.

"You see, Leon. It seems they have made a decision!" said Gail.

"You are all useless traitors!" shouting Leon.

"Sorry, Sir. Didn't you want him to replace you from the beginning? Now he has proven that he deserves to be your replacement so we choose according to what we think he deserves" said one of his men.

"But you don't have to betray. Right now, kill him!" shouting Leon.

Not a single one of his men moved, no one listened to his orders anymore. Gail laughed out loud, she didn't want any of this but Leon had actually pulled her down that path again.

"I'll kill you all!" shouted Leon furiously.

"When you die, Leon.your head will be mine and I'll throw it under Licius' feet later!" the sword eyes had already scratched the skin of Leon's neck, he would cut off his head right then and there.

"Don't, Gail. Don't do!" shouting Leon.

"You made me like this, Leon. So regret your stupidity!" The sword was about to be slashed but it was not so because of the sound of Leona's scream.

"Stop, Gail. If you kill my father then I'll kill you!" leona shouted while pointing her firearm at Gail.

"Le-Leona, save Daddy," his father asked.

"Take my dad off, now!" leona's orders.

"You'd better go, Leona. I won't kill you so go but if you're still stubborn then I won't hesitate!"

"Don't listen to the threat, Leona. Shoot immediately!" shouted his father.

Leona gulped, her hands slightly trembling. He hesitated to kill Gail.

"Do, Leona!" shouting Leon.

"Ck, waste of time!" without mercy, Gail slashed her sword at Leon's neck. Leon was surprised but not long after that his head fell to the floor. Leona screamed hysterically, the gun in hand in the shot towards Gail blindly. Gail dodged it, turned a step and after that the sword in hand was thrown towards Leona.

Leona was startled and her body was pushed back as the sword thrown by Gail stuck into her chest. Leona looked back at Gail and after that her body fell to the floor. Leon's men did not make a sound, they did not even prevent Gail from pulling the sword that stuck in Leona's chest and after that she took Leon's head.

Gail came out with a sword in her hand and Leon's head. Now it's time to find Lucius. With his battered state, he wasn't sure he could beat Lucius let alone his gaze starting to blur and his head felt like it was going to break.

He knew it was different this time, he knew Lucius would not be easily defeated let alone two hostages in hand but he definitely had to go save Cristal and Angela even if he had to die later but he would never have guessed if he'll get a surprise later.
