A nurse came into the room to check on Cristal's mother-in-law. At first he was not suspicious because Cristal's mother was asleep. The old woman seemed to be soundly asleep. Infusion checked, some tools were checked but one thing that made him wonder, his heart performance detection device did not work.

The nurse looked at the device, like someone had pulled it off on purpose. After checking the device, the nurse also checked the state of Cristal's mother-in-law. The nurse was surprised, and she ran outside screaming.

"Doctor!" the nurse's scream shocked Cristal and woke him from sleep.

"What's going on?" ask Cristal while looking here and there.

The nurse had already run out, Cristal got up and ran towards her mother-in-law in a hurry. His premonition was bad, he immediately held her mother-in-law's hand but his hand was cold.

"Mom, Mommy! Wake up!" Cristal called out and looked frightened let alone her mother-in-law not reacting.

"Mom, wake up! Don't be like this. Don't scare me like this!" tears had already spilled, Cristal even shouted as he called his mother-in-law.

"Mom!" he shouted again as the doctor and nurse entered the room in a hurry.

"Mommy," Angela called out to him because he woke up from the commotion that had occurred.

Cristal ran towards her daughter with tears breaking. Needless to say, she knows what happened to her mother-in-law. Were the words spoken by her mother-in-law parting words? He didn't expect something like this to happen but he still didn't know what was really going on.

The doctor also tried, heart trigger tool was used because it could have succeeded in making the heart performance back to work. They looked busy, while Angela looked confused.

"What happened to Grandma, Mom?" tanyanya wants to know.

Cristal could only shake his head with tears continuously flowing, he did not know what to say. She doesn't know how to explain what happened to her daughter who loved her grandmother so much.

"Mom, what happened to Grandma?" angela asked a little scream.

"There's nothing, Grandma's fine, '" she said.

"Mommy lied, Mommy lied!" Angela rebelled and ran towards her grandmother.

"Angela, no!" Cristal ran towards her daughter who was crying hysterically.

"Grandma, Angela wants to be with Grandma!" scream Angela.

"Next, not now!" Cristal tries to calm her increasingly hysterical daughter. The sound of crying even sounded from outside, of course it surprised Gail who had just arrived. He intended to bring some breakfast for Cristal, but a loud cry signified something bad had happened.

Gail ran towards the room, Cristal still trying to calm her crying daughter. The doctor was seen giving up because the patient had died a few hours ago, which is strange. The heart detector is uprooted like someone did it on purpose.

"What's going on?" Gail's approaching Cristal.

Cristal shook her head and cried, Angela still crying while calling her grandmother. Cristal looked like a dazed person, he could not yet accept what had happened.

"Pacify your daughter, I'll take care of her" Gail said, patting Cristal on the shoulder. Cristal could only nod, he could not say anything due to the sudden incident that he was difficult to accept.

Gail put down the food she brought first and after that she approached the doctor who was releasing some tools that were still attached to the body of Cristal's mother-in-law.

"What's going on?" ask Gail.

"I asked what happened?" Gail asked in an annoyed tone.

"His death was unnatural. He died a few hours ago and someone did it on purpose. Looks like someone killed him on purpose, which is why this should be reported to the authorities."

"What was the cause of his death?"

"We don't know yet!" the doctor looked towards Cristal. She should have known if anyone had entered the room because only she and her daughter were in the room.

"Cctv, all rooms have it so check cctv!" said Gail. If indeed his death was intentional, there must be evidence of cctv footage. The perpetrators will definitely be recorded so they can know what happened.

Gail returns to Cristal, who is holding her daughter. Angela was still crying because her mother had told her that her grandmother had gone after her father. It makes Angela sad because she loves her grandmother.

"What happened to my mother-in-law?" ask Cristal.

"His death was intentional as if someone had done it."

"What's? It can't be!" Cristal. Who could have done that? Cristal was silent, she tried to remember every word her mother-in-law said last night. He remembered that his mother-in-law wanted to die so as not to make things more difficult for him. Was her mother-in-law planning something at the time? Don't tell me that her mother-in-law ended her own life because she didn't want to make things difficult for her.

"No need to worry, I'll help you check what's going on."

"I-I don't think it's necessary" Cristal said, looking down. She couldn't imagine her mother-in-law actually ending her own life. Why do they have to live such a difficult life? Did her mother-in-law take a shortcut so as not to become her burden again?

"Why not need?"

"I-I'm afraid," Cristal stopped her speech because she didn't want Angela to hear.

"No need to worry, I'll handle it. Just entertain and take good care of your daughter" said Gail.

Cristal just nodded, at the moment he could only rely on Gail alone because he had to calm Angela down. Luckily the man came so someone helped him. He could not imagine if the man had not come, he definitely could not do anything. Gail came out of the room, followed the doctors and nurses to see the cctv footage. However, he must see what happens before the police arrive because Cristal could be a suspect in the death of his mother-in-law.

Before the police arrived, Cristal and Angela stood by her mother-in-law's side, which was covered with a white cloth. Angela was crying again, and so was Cristal. He did not expect that their togetherness last night was the last time. Now that her mother-in-law no longer felt pain, she also did not need to pay for treatment for her mother-in-law anymore. Should he be happy for this? Or should he be sad!

"Grandma, why did Grandma leave Angela and Mommy? Didn't Grandma promise not to leave us?" said Angela while sobbing.

"Don't cry, honey. Grandma's not sick anymore now, now she's with Daddy."

"Is it true, Mom? Is Grandma no longer sick?" ask Angela.

"Yes, we have to let Grandma go because Angela does not cry anymore because Grandma is no longer sick," Angela repeated her remarks to comfort her daughter.

Angela nodded as she wiped her tears away, Cristal asked her daughter to wait on the sofa because she wanted to talk to her mother-in-law. She was very curious, was it true that her mother-in-law ended her own life?

"Why, Mom? Why are you leaving so soon? Why did you leave us like this?" Cristal wiped away her tears that were still flowing.

"All I bear, I don't even complain about what I've been through all this time. Although Alvin left me with a pile of debt but not once did I complain about this especially in front of you. I couldn't but keep trying to get through it all. I fought for you and Angela too but why did you leave like this? I'd hate you so much if you ended your own life. I fought for you but you were so short of wits. I hope what I think is wrong, I also apologize to you for being just a useless daughter-in-law!"

Cristal again wiped his tears, he really hoped his guess was wrong so that the disappointment in his mother-in-law did not grow in the heart but what really happened to his mother-in-law? At that time Gail was checking the cctv together with the hospital security. He also hopes to get a clue that the death of Cristal's mother-in-law can be known.
