The plane carrying Orland and Gail has landed, the trip from New York to California does not take too much time but they will go to the hotel first and tomorrow then Orland will meet his business partner.
After all when they arrived it was already dark, it was also impossible for Orland to meet business associates at night. They immediately headed for the hotel to rest. Gail occupied a room adjacent to Orland's room. He should always be alert when needed.
The bag is thrown over a chair that is on the side of the bed. The tie was loosened and after that Gail dropped herself on the bed. Eyes stared at the sky of the room, somehow Cristal and Angela's current state, she should go take a bath first before contacting Cristal.
Gail also hopes Alston can take good care of them so Leon and Lucius can't bother them both but frankly, she has a bad feeling about this.
Gail moves on, the suit is released and after that Gail goes to the bathroom. She was already impatient to talk to Angela as well as Angela. The girl had wanted her mother to contact Gial, she had been whining since then but Cristal did not know Gail had arrived or not.
"Come, Mom. Call Uncle now!" her door.
"Patience, Honey. Maybe Uncle hasn't arrived yet so Mommy can't reach him carelessly."
"But Angela misses Uncle," Angela lies at her mother's feet, she hasn't wanted to sleep before her mother contacts Gail.
Cristal looked at the clock on the wall, the time was already ten o'clock at night. The time difference between New York and California is three hours different. New York is three hours faster because Angela does not want to sleep when tomorrow she has to go to school.
The phone was taken, Cristal seemed hesitant to contact Gail. She was also afraid of bothering him but she also wanted to know if the man had arrived or not. Cristal cradled the mobile phone in his hand, he was still hesitant but at that moment his phone rang.
"Uncle!" scream Angela. The girl was already sitting on the bed, she also looked happy.
Cristal smiled and gave his phone to Angela, of course Angela replied excitedly.
"Uncle, has Uncle arrived?" ask her while shouting.
"Sure, what are you doing?"
"Angela wants to sleep but Angela's waiting for Uncle to call."
"Well, did Angela miss me?" gail asked while sitting on the side of the bed. He had just finished his bath and immediately contacted Cristal.
"Of course, Uncle. Does Uncle not miss Angela?"
"The uncle misses you too."
"really?" yelled Angela happy.
"Yes, Uncle will come back after the job is done because it's a good boy, otherwise his doll will not buy Uncle."
"Of course, Uncle. Now Angela wants to go to bed so she can get up early tomorrow to go to school."
"Smart girl, give Mommy her phone. Uncle wants to talk to him."
"Mom, Uncle wants to talk to Mommy," Angela gives him her phone and after that he lies down.
"Mommy talks to Uncle for a while, Angela goes to bed first" Cristal said, kissing her forehead.
Angela nodded, Cristal climbed down from the bed and stepped towards the sofa by the window.
"Have you just arrived, Gail?" cristal asked after she had sat down on the sofa.
"No, I've arrived since. You guys ate, didn't you?"
"Oh, what about you? Have you eaten yet?"
"I'll order food later. How's it going in there, is Alston looking after you?"
"Of course, he's out at the moment with a few people. She was on her guard but I was scared, Gail," she's been really uncomfortable since. Not only is she suspicious of Gail's best friend, she's also afraid something will happen to her tonight.
"I did, Gail. But the fear that I've felt since you left, has always haunted me" Cristal said.
"You're too anxious and think a lot, Cristal. Don't scare yourself, make you panic. You won't be able to think clearly if something happens so don't think no."
"Well, maybe I'm overdoing it," said by Gail very correctly, she thinks too much and scares herself.
Cristal looked at Angela for a moment, her daughter was already asleep because she was already sleepy. Cristal was lying on the sofa, they were both silent because they did not know what they were going to talk about.
"Why shut up, are you sleepy?" ask Gail about stale. Gail stood in front of the hotel window, looking at the beautiful lights that adorned the city.
"No, why are you quiet yourself?" ask Cristal anyway.
"See, this is the first time I've spoken to a woman remotely so I don't know what to say."
"Ck, you're really no fun!"
"But you like it, don't you?"
"Hey, are you teasing me right now?" ask Cristal.
"Hm, like."
"Sucks, what kind of answer is that? Even if you're joking or teasing, but your facial expression must be the same."
"My face is like this, no need to smile but you already like it!"
"Ck, you're teasing me again!"
Gail was silent, so Cristal wanted to know how Gail's face was. She misses him because since she knew him and was close to him, she got used to Gail's presence.
"All right, it's night. Get some sleep, I want to talk to Alston. If anything happens, call me right away. You have to remember, you can't panic so you know what you can do if something happens!"
"I know, Gail. I'm not gonna panic like you said."
"good. Go to sleep, it's night."
"Hm, good night" Cristal said.
Gail did not reply, Cristal left after their conversation ended. The phone was placed on the table, Cristal pulled the drawer and took out the gun that was inside. Although Gail had just taught him how to use it a few times, he could already use it.
He must not be as weak as he once was, sometimes being different is necessary. The life he lived was always difficult and hard, he was also always afraid of the circumstances. He knew that if he continued to be as scared as ever, he could only make things difficult for Gail and she would not be able to change anything.
Cristal put the gun under his pillow before lying down. Had he been brave and had such a weapon long ago, perhaps he could have fought Lucius without the need to engage Gail so that things got more complicated as they are today. Cristal was about to close his eyes but he was really scared. She was scared when she was asleep something she was afraid of happened.
After speaking to Cristal, Gail contacted Alston. He wanted to know how things were going there. He hopes Alston can control the situation but unfortunately his departure is already known by the enemy and they already have a plan for their goal to be achieved.
"How's it going in there, Alston?" ask Gail.
"You don't have to worry, Gail. Safe situation. After all no one knows you're gone, you don't have to worry."
"Don't underestimate the enemy, Alston. Anything can happen to be a waste. I trust you so much that don't let me down!"
"I know you don't have to repeat it. I will definitely take good care of them and risk my life for the sake of our friendship!"
"Okay, I believe you!" it felt a little relieved, he knew that Alston could take care of Cristal and Angela as well but what if someone betrayed him?
True what he said, anything could happen and that night, his house had been staked out by the enemy. The two camps that became one did not waste the opportunity, that night they had been lurking and would move to carry out their actions.
