Curiosity filled the heart, Cristal was impatient but she had to accompany her daughter in a house that was very foreign to them. They were already in a room they could occupy. There was no one in the house but them, not a single servant but the house looked so clean and tidy. That's because Gail is a man who loves cleanliness.

He did not like anyone touching the things in his house, so there was no servant. Once a week he will pay cleaning services to clean his house that is not so dirty. After all he's a bachelor, he has a lot of time on weekends. He does not have to go out spending money to please a woman, therefore most of the salary he can get into savings.

Gail is also not a wasteful man, although her clothes are branded but she does not like to go shopping. The house he currently occupied was the one he bought from his hard work during his time as the right-hand man of a mobster.

Cristal looked at the room he and his daughter were in at the moment. For the rest of his life, he had never occupied such a large room but he should not be happy because he had to be wary of the owner of the house because there could be hidden intentions of the young man who always helped him.

"Mom, Angela was scared" said Angela, who was lying on the bed.

"Not to be afraid, there's Mommy," Cristal tries to comfort her daughter. They have nowhere to go but their home but Gail says it's not safe and where can they go?

"But Uncle is scary."

"Sstt, Mommy will talk to him later and ask him not to scare Angela so Angela has nothing to fear."

"Is Mommy not afraid of him?"

"Of course not, didn't Mommy say it? Apparently it was scary but she was actually good so Angela had nothing to fear."

Angela nodded, the sound of the door being knocked was heard. Cristal steps towards the door, it must be Gail. He should know how his fate was with his daughter after this. Whether they should stay for a long time, or just for a moment.

Gail stood in front of the door as Cristal had already opened the door. The cold gaze that Cristal got but he was used to. But one thing she wants, she hopes Gail doesn't always show such a face in front of her daughter because Angela can get even more scared of her.

"Take your daughter for breakfast. You haven't eaten, have you?"

"May I ask you something?": Cristal ventured. She wanted her daughter to be comfortable there.

"Say!"

"I'm sorry if I'm presumptuous but can you not put such a scary face in front of my daughter? I'm sorry for this disrespectful request but I want her to be comfortable and not afraid of you."

"The appearance of my face has always been like this" said Gail. Because he was set up to be a murderer so he doesn't know how to express himself in front of children.

Gail passed away after saying so, Cristal also went into the room to take her daughter to breakfast because they had not eaten anything. Angela followed her mother from behind and looked terrified, the girl even looking here and there until they entered the kitchen.

Two plates of food were already on the table, it was still warm because Gail had just made it.  Cristal smiled faintly, an unexpected young man. He did not expect the young man to care so much about them when they did not have any relationship.

Angela enjoys her food as Gail walks into the kitchen. The girl looked frightened as Gail approached her but a doll was in hand. Gail placed the doll on the table without saying anything, Angela picked up the doll and looked happy.

"Is this for Angela?"

Gail simply nodded and rubbed the girl's head. Out of nowhere the doll came from, she did not know for sure it was in the closet.

"Thank you, Uncle," Angela said with a sweet smile.

"Thank you for the food, aren't you eating?" ask Cristal.

"No, after breakfast, find me because there's something important I want to talk to you about."

"All right, I'll be looking for you soon."

Gail nodded, the man stepped away. Cristal finished her meal in a hurry as she was already very curious as to what exactly happened to her mother-in-law.

"Mom, look at this doll" said Angela, showing her the doll.

"What does Angela like?" Cristal smiled, his daughter nodded with a smile indicating that she likes her dolls.

"Mommy said it, right? Uncle's not as evil as he seems so Angela doesn't have to be afraid."

"Mommy's right," Angela smiled again as she played her doll.

Cristal also smiled, it seems like it is time to find out what really happened to her mother-in-law. Dirty dishes were placed, Cristal approached his daughter and rubbed her head.

"Mommy wants to talk to Uncle for a while so wait here carefully. Angela wants to, right?"

"Of course, Angela will be waiting with a teddy here" Angela said.

"Good, smart girl," Cristal kissed her daughter's cheek and after that she came out of the kitchen.

He looked confused at the mansion but Gail's figure was seen standing in front of the window while smoking a cigarette. Cristal approached Gail with a very high curiosity.

His premonition says the death of his mother-in-law was unnatural and so Gail took them to her house and said it was dangerous to return to her home.

"What do you want to talk about, what really happened to my mother-in-law?" ask Cristal without a stale base.

Gail looked at him for a moment. Cigarettes back in suction. Cristal waited impatiently, his heart even pounding. He must be ready to accept the reality of what happens no matter what.

"Why are you quiet?" ask Cristal.

"Your mother-in-law has been killed by someone."

"What?" Cristal surprised. Both knees felt weak. Is Gail not kidding?

"Who did it?" cristal asked inquisitively. Worth the bad feeling, he even thought that his mother-in-law had died by suicide. One side she was relieved because her mother-in-law did not do that, but on the other hand he was very curious to know who had killed his mother-in-law and why he did not know when he was in the room with Angela.

"All right, that must be a woman" replied Gail. From the cctv footage shows, the culprit is indeed a woman in the clothes of a nurse even Angela looks awake when the woman enters but Angela is too small to realize the situation and she looks back to sleep.

Cristal steps backwards, a woman? Wh who? And why was her mother-in-law murdered? Does anyone hate his mother-in-law or has anything to do with Lucius? Those questions came up, he really didn't expect anyone to kill his mother-in-law but who did that and what happened? He really wants to know.
