"We have arrived...!!!"

Rigel approached the little girl who ran over and pointed to the door leading out. The sunlight seemed to shine brightly so it was impossible for Rigel to see what was outside.

"Thank you for showing me the way out, what's your name...??"

"My name is Riri...!!"

Little girl... — Little Riri introduces herself with passion to Rigel. He stroked Riri's head and smiled, gently. Then again, Rigel wasn't a lolicon or anything. Maybe Rigel just likes a jolly little girl like Riri. Rigel has always dreamed of having a sister, no matter if it was a man or a woman.

Just as Rigel was about to leave to see what the situation was like outside, he was stopped by Riri who grabbed Rigel's right hand in worry. His face looked sad and troubled. Rigel lowered his body to align with Riri's face.

"What's up, Riri...??"

"Emm, I've never been out there because my mother said the outside world was dangerous... I want to go with Mr. Hero out there, but I'm afraid mom is scolding me for going out..."

Rigel can assume that Riri was born and raised in this underground tunnel. The reason is simple, because outside there is a threat from Hydra and also monster monsters under his control. Rigel could even imagine that only adult men would go out to find food and drink while children and women would settle in this tunnel.

Rigel thinks before he says he's gonna take Riri out there.

My body condition has not fully recovered, but that doesn't mean I can't fight. However, under these circumstances, I might not be able to protect Riri if surrounded by monsters. Maybe it's better for me to mark this tunnel as a teleportation point and move if it's ambushed by a bunch of monsters. That's what Rigel thinks.

"Do you want to come out with me, Riri...??"

"Can...?! Ah, but, I'm afraid of troubling Master Hero... Then, the outside world isn't safe for a kid like me..." Riri said sadly and scowled.

"Well, Riri... You know who I am, don't you...??"

"Emm..." Riri nodded "A Hero." he continued.

"Then, what do heroes usually do...??"

"Saving people..."

Rigel smiled as Riri answered his question according to what he expected.

"So you don't have to worry because I'm a hero, I'll save you if anything happens... So, you don't have to worry..."

Rigel comforts Riri whose face is starting to come back carefree. Rigel put Riri to sit on his shoulders so Rigel doesn't lose him on his way out.

"Are you ready...??"

"Hm...!!"

Riri nodded in response. Rigel stepped out and took a while for his eyes to adjust to the light around him. Arriving outside, Rigel and Riri are greeted by a view of lush green forests and mossy land. The tunnel was underground.

"God.." 2x.

Rigel and Riri were amazed at the same time. Rigel had never seen a place like this green forest. Even Riri who had never known the outside world seemed to be very happy.

"Wahahahah... The outside world is very green and bright... Not like inside...!!!" Riri looked around.

"You're right, Riri... I've never even seen a place like this, how about we go around first...??"

Riri just nodded with passion because the true scenery was new to him. Riri held onto the hair on Rigel's head and while on the way, Riri spoke...

"Emmm... Master Hero...?? Can I know your name...??"

"My name is Amatsumi Rigel, just call Rigel..."

"Then I'll call you Rigel...!!!" Said Riri while tilting her body to be able to see Rigel's face.

"Ahaha... Go ahead."

"Well, Rigel... I heard stories from Uncle Fang if any heroes came from another world... Did Rigel also come from another world...??"

Rigel smiled happily as Riri asked about his origin. What a carefree little girl seems to have to be confined in the tunnel without knowing anything about the outside world because of the threat from the monster of doom. Rigel was grateful that he had liberated the island of Yurazania from Hydra's grasp. If Rigel had never chosen to conquer Hydra, Riri and the other children would probably never have felt how warm the daytime sky was.

"That's right, Riri... I come from a distant world called Earth..."

"Mom... Mi...??"

"Yes... On Earth there are no magic or monsters, everyone can live in peace and not have to worry about the danger of monsters..."

"Can you tell me more about your world, Rigel...??" Ask Riri with enthusiasm.

Rigel slowly tells how life is on a distant planet called Earth. Rigel tells it with words that are easy to understand for a child of Riri's age. Seeing Riri listen to his story with passion, Rigel felt nostalgic as he told Tirith about his world. After being content to listen to the story about Earth, Riri looked at Rigel's strange-looking left hand. Even Riri saw that his left hand had many cracks.

"Sir, Rigel... Why is your left hand different...?? I've never even seen it."

"Ahh, this... My arm was badly injured and had to be cut off... To replace him, I used an iron arm that my friend found while defeating a monster..."

"D-in p-cut...!!!" Riri said in horror.

"Yes... Because it's broken so it can't be healed anymore and I'm forced to use Adamantite's hard hand..."

Although Adamantite is a very hard metal, this does not mean that it cannot be destroyed. Even while fighting with the Hydra in the form of a Humanoid, Adamantite Rigel's left hand began to crack.

"W-does it hurt...??"

Ruri asked worriedly while touching Rigel's left hand. Ruri seems to want to know if Rigel still feels pain in his left hand. He just smiled and told Riri if he didn't feel any pain in his left arm.

After walking long enough into the forest interior, Rigel and Riri discover a ruin that seems to be a city in its time. Some of the buildings were destroyed but others were not.

It seems like this city has been a few years not inhabited by humans or semi-humans. Rigel and Riri keep looking into the surrounding area to find something until Rigel and Riri see a huge, very beautiful royal ruin.

"Is this where Cold lived as a child..."

The castle was very majestic and beautiful, several tall pillars were built around it. The damage to the castle also seems not too bad if you look at it from a distance. Rigel did not know how severe the damage was.

A suspicious voice sounded not far from where Rigel was. Rigel turned around and said—

"Who's there...?!"

Someone started coming out from there, he was a man who seemed to have aged three heads. His face was like that of a gentle person, but if he looked at the muscular muscles in his body, it was clear that he was no ordinary person. Rigel assumed he was a bodyguard or an adventurer.

"T-sir Hero...??"

Rigel was surprised because the man knew him. This was supposed to be the first time he had met this man. Seeing that, inexplicably Riri started waving her hands towards the man.

"Hhhh...!!! It was Uncle Fang... Uncle, here-here...!!!"

A man who seemed to be named Fang worriedly approached Rigel. He knelt down in front of Rigel with great fear and worry.

"T-mister hero...!!! Forgive this child for being disrespectful to you...!!! In exchange, just punish me... Riri, get down from there..."

Fang raises his voice to Riri who looks at him in confusion but Riri complies and asks Rigel to lower him.

"a, um... Mr. Fang, right... You don't have to go all the way, after all I offered Riri to ride on my shoulders... Then, do not do this formality to me because it bothers me a little. Be ordinary..."

Rigel patted the shoulder of Fang who was kneeling in front of him. Slowly, Fang started to stand up and carried Riri on his burly back.

"Then, fine... Thank you for your generosity, Mr. Hero..."

"Uncle Fang... I can finally go out safely... I want to know if the other kids can go out like me..."

Riri said that with a voice of sadness. Fang also looked at Riri dejectedly, he was unable to give a definite answer. Although Hydra was defeated, it does not mean that the monster under its control will also be destroyed. Replacing Fang, Rigel answered Riri's question.

"Riri, you can get out safely because you're with me... Our journey is safe because monsters can sense the magic aura of someone, I give out my magic aura to scare the weak monster monsters so that no one dares to approach... However, if you go out alone, it's possible that you'll meet a monster... So, until the time the monsters in this place are controlled, you are not allowed to go out alone, understand...??"
