Rigel and the others are now dealing with a mysterious figure. There was nothing that could be described about him, because of the robe that covered his body. However, it is certain that something is behind his back.
"You... Who?!"
Rigel felt frustrated. Not only did he lose the Encyclopedia of the world, but something not wearing came from the man who was hovering in the air, as if he could walk freely there.
Asoka, Odin and Gahdevi could only stare and be on the lookout for all the possibilities. They did not intend to act recklessly, because not just anyone could make Rigel exhausted. Not to mention, one attack earlier was completely lethal. There was no other choice but to act defensively. A safe return is also included in the win. Even if it had to escape, nothing would disappear from it.
The man said nothing. Just silently observed Rigel and the force used to withstand the previous attack.
He had returned the Void, the instant the attack ended. Surely he made a precautionary measure for the enemy not to know further his strength. Even so, Rigel had been ready to activate it at any time, as they had yet to get out of the precarious situation.
"Just tell me who and what your goal is!!"
Rigel asked again and this time he gave a slight threat with a cold gaze and strong killing intent.
Hearing that, the figure of the mysterious man in the sky only snorted amusedly, as if Rigel's threat was just tickling his skin.
"There is no need to be wary of it, man." said the mysterious figure with a slight joking in his voice.
A human?? if he says that, it means he is not human.
Only demons could Rigel think of. There was indeed one existence he had thought of, but Rigel immediately denied it because it should be impossible. No. gabe... That should be possible, given the power it exerts.
But Rigel doesn't want the final assumption. Because that way, things become more complicated and difficult to handle. There are still many things to deal with before the end of the day arrives. Rigel's greatest hope is that there are no enemies other than demons and doom. That way, the final preparations for the war would be perfect.
"I won't kill you here, because it won't be interesting." continued the mysterious figure.
"Well! What an unbelievable word!"
In reality he had almost died from the previous light attack. A little late, it is certain that his life history ends at that time. To believe the word of the figure is to entrust life to the angel of the lifethrower.
"Well, take it as my greeting to you lowly creatures. But the book that records the events of the world that is very troublesome. Even so, I also want to know, how far you can go, Rigel... If you die, then you're just an ordinary holy pig, but if you survive, then you're really a fighter of the human race."
Where did he know my name? that's what Rigel thought. So far, he hasn't introduced himself at all. If he was human it was not surprising, but unfortunately that figure was definitely not human. It was possible that he had searched for information first, before coming and meeting Rigel.
If the figure came to destroy the book of knowledge, then he could guess that the figure did not want Rigel to know something that should not be known. Is that the truth behind Ragnarok? or something that concerns something else, like the truth of this world??
"Keep that aside.., if your goal is to just obliterate that ugly book, then there is no reason for you to trouble yourself by wasting time here!"
Rigel intended to drive the figure away as quickly as possible. Not that he was afraid, but there was something that made Rigel shiver against the figure. Then, if the figure had no intention of leaving, he would at least have to buy some time.
"Yes, this is just a byproduct. I'd like to have a little chat with you, Hero of man.," though a faint, cynical and condescending smile could be seen from behind his hood.
"There's nothing to talk about," Rigel replied with a stern look.
His left hand is ready. Rigel quickly reached out his left hand and shot a full-powered laser towards the figure.
"Material Buster! 100%!!"
The superheated laser at the speed of light shot out instantly, but in microsecond time, the figure simply blew out the Rigel laser and eliminated it so easily. Asoka, Odin, Gahdevi and even the dwarves had similar shocked expressions.
An attack that could perforate a mountain was aborted so easily. Even the worst with a single breath. Rigel himself barely budged. He was so shocked that his attack seemed to be nothing.
"You think those little sparks were an attack?"
The figure of the mysterious man in the air slowly stretched out his hand and flicked through the air then said, "This is just the name of an attack..,"
ICT!
CRACK IT!!
Along with a flick of his finger, a high-speed wind shot out and shattered Rigel's left hand, along with the magic stone in his left. Even though it was just a fake hand, he still felt pain as it was directly connected to his shoulder, so as to bring blood out.
No more time to be surprised, Rigel swung his hand and sent out a super-large Asura Punch that dirined in Purgatory flames.
But again, the figure just slapped slowly and eliminated Rigel's attack very easily. It would not be surprising if he needed a little effort, but he did not have the slightest trouble.
Ohh, come on..., that's right!!
"You, how can you do it as easily as breathing?" Odin was really shaken by the sight before him.
He knew very well that the attack Rigel had unleashed was not something that was easy to deal with like that. Even Gahdevi admitted Rigel's previous attack was more than capable of killing him, albeit in a giant form.
"No need to be that surprised. I just turned off his lighter." he said.
Surely it will be a provocation, that a fire that can wipe out humans without leaving dust is considered a lighter.
But he has no problem with that. It seems to be true in the face of this mystery. He was confused as to what to do at the moment. Teleportation was indeed an option, but things were much worse when the figure followed him.
"Let's talk about something more interesting, like. He was really interesting and did things that were always out of my mind" he said while reminiscing.
Rigel doesn't know who he's referring to. But if it's someone similar, then there's a possibility it's Aludra. He did hear the name recently, but somehow in this case his name was always involved. It was as if he was the one who played a big role in the past. Whether it's for evil, or the good of the world.
"Not only bothers the Hero of generations before you. He created a system as attractive as slavery and plunged the world into chaos as a result of his anger and hatred. He is the only human being who gets my attention.., right, losing is not wrong, Aludra his name," he said. A faint smile grew on his lips. His tone also sounded happy while telling him about Aludra.
"Aludra...., you mean the vile criminals of the past?" Asoka was stunned and seemed to know something about him.
Rigel is certainly becoming more and more interested in hearing more of his story. However, time would not stand still and wait for Rigel to satisfy his curiosity. It was necessary for him to delay and wait for a peaceful time to ask about who and what the man of Aludra was.
"Hoo?? I can't believe that humans still know anything about it. Well, let's put it aside, a rare opportunity for a human being to get my attention and you should be flattered for getting the same attention as that man, Rigel."
"I'm sorry, but I'm not flattered at all. Precisely that I'm nauseous getting disgusting attention from you!"
"Hahaha, of course so.., that's why I've prepared something that will make you grateful," he reached out his hand and created a golden mirror in his hand.
As soon as Rigel sharpened his eyes and saw what was behind the mirror, he was completely shocked by what and who was inside. There was someone there and it was someone Rigel couldn't just ignore.
"You...., what did you put on her?!!!"
The great anger that made the air vibrate appeared and came from Rigel. His own anger was enough to silence the sounds of insects and animals echoing in the forest. Instead of being afraid, the mysterious figure was precisely whistling in admiration towards him.
"Fiuw~, It was very little and less than very little that gave me goosebumps. It seems to be my choice to take this girl with me, because you and other attractive figures will do their best to get it."
Another interesting figure, he must be pointing at Sylph. It was impossible for him to choose a person originally to take with him. He must have planned something terrible, rather than abducting Priscilla aimlessly. Most likely, this was the meaning of the bitter taste in his tongue that had been constantly teasing him.
It was as if he was walking behind the scenes without his knowledge. Judging from the circumstances, it seems that Lucifer himself is not aware of the strange movements of this third party. However, what was more important was how to get out of this situation safely and save Priscilla who was imprisoned in the mirror.
"What do you want?" ask Rigel.
The figure snorted happily, "Let's play a game" he said.
Rigel muttered "Game?" confused and late to process their meaning. The figure nodded and stretched out the mirror in his hand as if aiming to knock him down and destroy him. If he did, then Priscilla would be imprisoned forever.
"Yes.., this game is themed 'save' which should be your duty as a Hero to do it. You have to face the monster I prepared and it will be the Last Boss for you, before the end of the war. If you manage to defeat her, I guarantee this girl will be fine and as a reward, I will reveal my identity. However, if you fail,." the figure deliberately creates another mirror clone and drops it. He then smashed the artificial mirror with a gust of wind.
"Whether it be you, this girl, or mankind, I will guarantee you destruction in the future!"
He let out a powerful pressure that almost made the dwarves die. Odin, Gahdevi and Asoka tried their best to remain reasonable in the face of the pressure, while Rigel did not budge.
He just stared and understood as well as possible who the person in front of him was. No matter how hard he guessed, yet no alibi could strengthen him. Despite knowing useless, Rigel would still ask a trap question.
"You..., are you a demon?!"
It sounded ridiculous, yet he did not want to have another terrifying possibility. At least, if the figure refused, then the answer had been determined.
"Haha!! you're really funny and interesting, Rigel!" he laughed happily as he slowly drew to the sky. The figure removed the mirror in his hand and stretched out both hands while slowly flying high.
"Let's know who I really am. Humans, demons, angels or maybe gods! Any one doesn't matter because I just want a game that takes away the boredom of hundreds of years, "the smile on her lips never goes away. The figure continued to fly higher and higher slowly, as if something was pulling on him.
But Rigel knew, that it was an ability belonging to the mysterious figure himself.
"I will wait for you, Rigel.., the forgotten Land of Dragons will be our next meeting point. For the monster, you should have guessed it~,"
"Dragon of doom!" rigel said, gritting his teeth, "I will definitely come to reveal who you are and end your life!"
"terminating? Huhahaha, dear must disappoint you, but this is not a suffix, but a prefix! The wheels of fate will turn again and only those who deserve to stand in the same place as me! Prove to me, if you deserve to stand on equal footing with me. I will wait patiently for you on our opening battlefield, goodbye~," his figure slowly faded and was about to disappear. But in his last moments, he said a word.
"Ahh~, as a bonus, I'll give you a warning. Before coming to the land of the forgotten Dragon, face the fog of monsters that awaits in front of you, before facing Last boss."
As soon as he said that, his figure disappeared as if it had never existed. Rigel did not have to bother thinking about the final meaning of his words. He knows. He actually instantly learned of his final warning.
"What's that fog?" ask one of the Dwarves while pointing at the distant forest.
Rigel and the others followed the direction that the Dwarves had pointed to and found a forest surrounded by white mist. Not only that, the surrounding trees turned white once consumed by the fog.
"It's come, yes," Rigel murmured as he narrowed his eyes, "We go back and contact the other Heroes to get together! Quick, no time to waste!" continued.
"What's the matter that's approaching us, Master Hero?" ask Gahdevi.
Rigel turned his back on them and raised his hand to prepare for teleportation. A bluish light began to shine around them, before they were moved, Rigel said :
"The monster of doom, the bastard who might have been watching me since flying towards Darkness.., White Tiger!"
The trees began to fall and cut neatly. A white shadow shot out at crazy speed towards Rigel and the others. The shadow exposed its fangs and was about to chew them, but a split second before that happened, Rigel and the others had disappeared.
The wheels of fate kept turning, the world was moving and about in great chaos. The white tiger started moving and along with it, the Heavenly Emperor would be determined.
