Last Farewell.

KAMADA TAKUMI POV

Takumi wins his fight with one of the 12 demon pillars. With this a pre-war confrontation between demons and humans would heat up.

Humans have lost one of the 12 existing heroes, and now it's the devil's turn to lose one of their 12 pillars.

Takumi thrust his spear towards the Behemoth's neck. In Takumi's head are memories of him harassing Tessia and having Bell and the others tortured by the goblins.

He wants to immediately end the life of this evil demon namin—

"Wait a minute, hero. Before that—"

Before Behemoth finished his words, Takumi cut his sentence very coldly.

"You're not gonna beg me to forgive your life, are you?!"

Takumi.

Takumi's blood heated up because of the anger he could no longer hold back.

"I won't be that low. All I wanted was to fight with a strong man and die with pride that I was killed with someone very strong.

I don't care what you're going to do to me right now because with our exchange just now, it's enough for me."

Behemoth.

He vomited blood in his mouth to his side and continued.

"Before you kill me, I will give you a gift for granting my dream. Take the eyeballs on my forehead.

I can't explain much because I don't have much time. I'm sure these eyes will help you a lot in the future. However, it's only if you're 'fit' and I'm sure you're the one who deserves it."

Behemoth.

Takumi reached out his hand and took out the eyeballs that were on the Behemoth's forehead. Takumi looked at the eyeball for a while and inserted it into the infertory.

Behemoth showed his smile and muttered

"Kill me, spear hero. Once again I say, I am very happy to fight with you, I say thank you, Yuusha Takumi. I wish we'd meet again in hell."

After poking it, Takumi thrust his spear towards the Behemoth's neck and decapitated it.

The smile on his face did not disappear until his body turned to ashes and disappeared.

Takumi looked at the already clear sky because of the rain. Takumi slowly fell down due to the exhaustion of his body that had peaked and slowly lost his consciousness.

"Ughh! How long have I been unconscious?"

Takumi mutters.

He looked around and realized that the day was starting to turn into the morning. Takumi may faint for a few hours.

His entire body was in pain, even with just a small movement could incur a piercing pain.

Takumi could feel some of his ribs breaking. He glanced in a puddle of water to look in the mirror and see his face.

On Takumi's eyelids were faint black marks that looked like a rune that appeared when Takumi used the Curse series.

Takumi's screen also looks blurred probably due to the effects of using the Curse series.

Before getting up and standing up, Takumi opened the index and searched for a Skill from the curse series, but he did not find it.

"Why isn't that power on my Skill list?"

After a while of searching but not finding results, Takumi began to realize that there was something different about his level.

"L-Level 180?!"

Takumi surprised.

My level shouldn't be this high. I still remember very well my level hadn't even reached 60 yesterday.

Is this because I killed the Behemoth?

Takumi kept thinking the reason he broke through level 100 in one night. His head was still muddled and he finally found the answer.

Goblins!

I remember when I used the Curse series, I made a goblin club lazy and killed it with a rain of spears.

Then, Takumi arrived at the place he was headed to. Where his friend is. He found Bell, Ozen, Al and El and an egil whose bodies were covered with small knives and wounds on their bodies.

Takumi fell to his knees, his breathing was irregular and tears that should have been replaced with tears of blood came out of his eyes.

"AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH!"

Takumi yells.

His screams echoed around. Anger, sadness, various emotions piled up on him.

"T-ta, me, mi."

Takumi gasped because someone called his name. He searched for the source of the voice and found a naked girl.

Takumi hurriedly walked up to him and hugged his cooling body.

"Tessie! I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Because it's so weak, I can't save you and people, I'M SORRY!"

Takumi cried as he hugged Tessia's cooling body.

"It's okay, Takumi. It's not weak, the fact is you've managed to kill the Behemoth, right?"

Tessia said weakly.

"But! Even so, I can't save who, what's the hero? I can't even help you when you're being harassed!"

Takumi continued to cry while hugging Tessia's cold cold body. Tessia hugged Takumi back and stroked Takumi's red hair.

"Hehe, you're like a child, Takumi."

He patted Takumi on the head.

Tessia.

Takumi stopped hugging Tessia and looked directly at Tessia's face. Tessia reached out her hand and wiped the blood-mixed tears in Takumi's eyes.

Tessia kept looking into Takumi's eyes to look inside him.

"Whatever happens, keep stepping forward Takumi. Never think that you are alone. Open your eyes and look around you,

That you are not alone, I, we will always accompany you, Takumi. Protect the world in which we meet, Protect mankind and one more thing..."

Tessia's eyes slowly closed and her breathing grew weaker and the last word she said was

"I love you, Yuusha Takumi."

His hand that was holding Takumi's face slowly fell down and his breathing stopped. Takumi's tears came back because the girl who loved him died in his hands."

"Tessie? Tessia wake up, wake up TESSIA!!!!"

It took some time for Takumi to stop his crying. The sun has fully revealed itself. Takumi's body is dirty and tattered camping.

Ignoring the pain he was in, he buried the entire village by himself.

"I promise you, Tessia. I will protect the world we meet and I will protect humanity, so look at my journey to the end with the others, Tessia. I love you too."

Takumi smiled at Tessia's grave. The dazzling sunlight obscured Takumi's face.

Takumi went away from the tomb of Tessia and the others and for the last time looked back at the tomb and left.

Takumi's journey will continue with the soul shadows of Ozen, Bell, Egil, Al and El as well as the woman who loves him, Tessia.
