The Legends Of Creator Hero

The Legends Of Creator Hero
Promise of the future

A refreshing morning, Rigel begins his day by washing his body with fresh water in the morning. There were a myriad of things he had to do after eating his breakfast, but Rigel chose to stretch his body by inviting Leo to hunt the Dragon. They did not just go alone this time, there was one additional participant, Ray.

His goal of wanting to follow Rigel and Leo was to try out some Skills and adapt to his Hero weapon.

Recently, he had become a Hero just as much as Merial. They are the ones Rigel chose to pass on the will of the fallen Hero Nanami and Argo. They certainly need their own adjustments to the Hero's weapons, especially the limits on what they can use. For Ray, the limits of his weapons are not too burdensome because from the beginning he was an expert in using daggers and other short weapons.

But Merial is different, he is an Ainsworth who has a unique talent to master all the weapons in this world and earned the nickname Weapon Master. The Merial itself was used to fighting with various weapons, especially on the Magic Sword. Most of the weapons in his inventory were magic swords of high quality.

Because he is now a Hero and gets a limit on the weapons used, it will be difficult for him to get used to fighting with one weapon. Not to mention that the weapon was a whip, which to most people was the most difficult weapon to use in battle. Even Rigel himself admitted that he couldn't think of a good way to fight and use the whip as a weapon.

Instead of fighting, the Whip may be more suitable to be in the support section. An example would be to limit an opponent's movements with a whip and create his own advantage for his teammates. But still, it all depends on the Skills and skills possessed by the user.

After making preparations, Rigel, Ray and Leo gather in the palace garden as a meeting point. Rigel doesn't have anything he needs because everything can be available with just him imagining it. Unlike Ray and Leo who have their own needs.

"It looks like the preparations are done, we can leave right now via teleportation." Rigel.

Everyone had gathered in the palace garden and appeared to be very ready to hunt. Especially Leo who is so ambitious to go hunting and feel the experience that makes him in a life and death situation.

Gaining Leo and Ray's approval, Rigel begins a teleportation to a forest outside the Region in search of the existence of a Dragon.

To find the existence of a Dragon, a mountain range would be a suitable place because most Dragons live in caves around the forest.

Rigel, Ray and Leo walk up the rocky mountains. They encounter some monsters like wolves and goblins, but Leo takes care of them very easily. Rigel was still very impressed with Leo who combined Burst Step with a thousand lightning slashes that made him cut opponents quickly.

"Great, this sword is so sharp!" Leo was excited when he learned the dexterity of the Kusanagi Sword that had recently fallen into his hands over the gift from Rigel.

Of course it was powerful, the Kusanagi Sword was something Rigel could from defeating Yamato No Orochi, or what was known as Hydra in this world. Kusanagi's sword has been gifted with Hydra's powerful magic and aura for over 100 years, making it a sword with God Tier. Rigel was initially concerned about Leo's match with Kusanagi, but after seeing this, there was nothing to worry about.

"Looks like the sword fits in your hand, Leo. Don't get too excited, you're not the only one who wants to fight monsters, leave some for Ray." Rigel smiled faintly at the overzealous Leo.

"Pardon me, brother Ray..." Leo bowed his head guilty of taking all the monsters for him to handle.

"No problem, Leo. I'm glad to see you're getting stronger and able to finish them off alone." Ray smiled and gently patted Leo's head.

After all, the monster opposite Leo is just a keroco that is not suitable for Rigel and Ray to hone his abilities. Rigel does not need to intervene directly to give Leo a hunting experience. To the current Rigel, a Dragon was nothing more than a flying lizard that would die with a single breath.

Unlike her who used to be close to death when fighting against Dragons, though she ended up dying as well. Rigel has been very strong, but he feels he has not been too strong to compete with Lucifer. Not to mention, with the existence of the Left Hand Hades given to Lucifer, making the two God Hand powers will clash with each other. Who is superior, who is stronger between the two cannot be ascertained.

I must master all five Void stages as quickly as possible, as soon as the final day, Ragnarok arrives!

Inner Rigel. He emphasized that well in his head, Void is a reliable force, but that doesn't mean he should always rely on her. In addition, there was still the presence of God Requiem whose truth about him was in the dark.

"For now, let's climb even further. I can feel a pretty strong trace of magic from the top of the mountain."

With nothing to say, Ray and Leo agree to Rigel's advice to climb and go further into the forest.

During the trip Rigel realized that Leo occasionally glanced at him, as if he was about to say something but never revealed it. Rigel decides to start it and gets Leo to talk.

"Is there anything you want to say, Leo?"

Leo looked awkward to say and it took him a while until he spoke.

"Umm, is it really okay if I hold this sword, Dad? It feels like Kusanagi Sword is too great for me to use and maybe you deserve it a lot more."

So that being said, it is true that Kusanagi is probably the third greatest Sword after Excalibur and divine weapon and it would probably be much more beneficial if Heroes like Rigel were to use it. However it is Rigel's choice that he does not match the sword.

"I don't really care about it because the Sword will just rot in my storage. Well, you'll understand what I mean later when you see how I fight. I'll tell you this, that you're better suited to that sword than I am." Rigel rubbed Leo's head like a father.

From his fighting style, Rigel prefers to hit his opponent directly with his fist rather than using a weapon like Kusanagi. There will be times when Rigel uses weapons like Pistol and others, but still he prefers empty-handed combat and Skill-Skills he has.

Although Leo currently only looks like an 11-year-old child, his growth as a Demi-human will be much faster than humans. The more levels a Leo reaches, the faster his growth and his abilities will develop. Rigel is impatient with what kind of achievements Leo will achieve in the future.

Rigel has the intention to include Leo in the conquest of Phoenix, but it is very unfortunate because Leo does not have a lot of fighting experience and most likely he will only hinder it. For that Rigel undoes his intentions and while free he wants to give Leo a lot of experience. For example, fighting against the mountain bandits, but that was impossible with the existence of Rigel.

No one is really stupid enough to rob a Hero. If there really is then Rigel is very grateful for the existence of such a fool.

"Regel." Ray called out with caution in his tone.

"Yes, I feel it too." Rigel is the same as Ray. He can feel something— strong monsters are far ahead there.

Leo stared between Rigel and Ray in a daze, he might not have been able to sense the magic energy from this distance yet. The distance is still quite far from here and Rigel is sure that what they are looking for is ahead there.

"Let's hurry, Leo, Ray." Rigel leads the way to where a Dragon might be.

They continued their journey with full vigilance until they finally arrived at a large cave that was thick with magic energy. Rigel, Ray and Leo hide in a nearby rock. Leo could feel the powerful magic energy and swallow his saliva as cold sweat began to appear on his forehead.

"It looks like he's there. However, his magic energy and presence were much stronger than mixed blood." Said Ray.

Rigel himself agreed with him. His strength seemed to be much stronger than that of a mixed-blooded Dragon in general, it was possible that his blood was more concentrated than that of an ordinary mixed Dragon.

"Huh, we won't know until we see it for ourselves." Rigel walked out of his hiding place and stood right in front of the huge cave.

*ROAR!

A loud roar accompanied by gusts of wind came out from inside the cave because it was aware of Rigel's existence. A huge footsteps began to sound and a gigantic black shadow began to be seen. Ray and Leo got out of the place where they were hiding and prepared behind Rigel who still looked relaxed.

"I didn't think any humans would come here." A hoarse and powerful voice appeared and its origin was from within the cave.

Ray and Leo shuddered in horror as the Dragon that was in front of them was not a mixed blood Dragon as usual. Rather than pure blood, a figure that should not be easy to meet. Rigel narrowed his eyes slightly and sighed tiredly.

The dragon was red in color and had a height of about 8 meters more out of the cave with a little annoyed because his sleep was disturbed. Each breath of his emitted a white-colored smoke that was quite hot and he lowered his head directly, trying to observe Rigel.

"You, quite confident, Man..." The dragon displayed its sharp fangs and snorted right in front of the unmoved and bored-looking Rigel.

"Dad!" Leo exclaimed worriedly at Rigel who could be chewed at any time. But Rigel did not move at all, because he knew the Dragon had no fighting will.

"Hahaha, I admit your guts are quite human."

Ray and Leo looked at each other in surprise, they thought that the Dragon was going to attack but unexpectedly he had absolutely no desire to fight.

"It seems true that pure blood like you doesn't like to fight." Rigel smiled disappointedly as he looked directly into the eyes of the Dragon in front of him.

"Emm? who says we don't like fighting, we like it a lot, but our fights always leave a bad mark on nature and we hate ruining this beautiful nature."

Dragons are not weak creatures, even with the first Rigel encounter with a Dragon the mix of strength is very great. Not to mention that the Dragon in front of him was a pure Dragon, everyone could expect that only from him could speak. Although loved for not finding a Dragon to hunt, but it is not a bad thing to meet a pure Dragon. A good opportunity for Rigel to speak.

"But the god bastards are starting an unhelpful, stupid war that could wipe out nature because of the war between you humans and two other pawn gods, Angels and Devils." The dragon seemed to dislike the selfish actions of the Gods who used pawns to start the war.

"I agree to call those God fuckers fools." Rigel smiled and casually clapped his hands once.

Three chairs from the ground were formed in one Rigel handclap. The dragon was surprised to see three chairs created without much effort on Rigel.

"Hoho's? you have great human abilities. May I know who and what you are? I feel like there's something else about you." The dragon lay on the ground leisurely while talking to Rigel.

Ray and Leo awkwardly and worriedly sat on the chair without needing to reduce their slightest bit of vigilance. Especially Leo who broke out in cold sweat and was amazed at Rigel who was casually sitting right by the Dragon's side.

"Before asking people's names, you must introduce yourself first." Rigel said with a faint smile and leaned on his right arm.

"Haha, you're right too. I'm a dragon with a larval element, just call me Red."

"Alright Red. My name is Amatsumi Rigel, just call Rigel. Technically I'm known as the Hero of this world."

"Hoho's? I deserve to feel like you're a little different from the others, and then the guy over there can be summed up as a hero too?" Red turns to Ray and his gaze ends on Leo who looks tense.

"Yes, I'm Ray, the Dagger Hero." Ray introduced himself. Because of one thing, he did not have a Knife weapon like Argo, but a weapon that is not much different from a knife, the Dagger.

"Then, that snot boy over there? whatis yourname?" Red looked at Leo curiously and realized Leo looked tense and awkward, "Just brush, I'm not going to bite you. It's been a while since I've been able to start a casual conversation with humans, especially these two Heroes."

Leo looked at Rigel first and as Rigel nodded, Leo ventured to speak. Besides Rigel being with him, nothing bad will happen to him.

"Y-yes, my name is Leo."

"Rigel, Leo and Ray, yeah. You humans are always good at picking names. For these 100 years, you were the first humans I could talk to casually. Most of them ran right away when they found out I was talking." Red sighed sadly while telling his story.

It seemed like he had lived in this cave for quite a while and did not have any friends to talk to.

"Where is a fellow Dragon like you?"

That made Rigel curious, so far he had only met two pure-blooded Dragons. The dragon belongs to Diablo and Red. Rigel had always wondered if the pure-blooded population had actually declined drastically or if they lived somewhere far away.

"It's not that I hate them, it's just that I don't like talking to them because there's nothing worth talking about. I'm more interested in hearing stories that humans have like you guys who always have good things to listen to." Red let out a gentle look and his lips looked like they were smiling.

"so. Then where does your Dragon Race usually live? All this time you were the pure blood Dragon I just spoke to."

Rigel tried to extract information from him, though he probably already knew the answer. In a place far enough away from the kingdoms, there is a forest known Dragon forest and in the depths of the Dragon forest there is another place called forgotten land. The forgotten land became the nest where the Dragon of Catastrophe lived.

"There are people who choose to travel to different places and are interested in hearing human stories just like me. There are also those who choose to live in the Dragon forest and become slaves of the bastard." Red started to sound furious as he explained the situation in the Dragon Forest.

"Boy son of a bitch? who do you mean?" Rigel tried to ask.

"As a Hero you should know something about him, the Dragon of doom. He acts like a dictatorial ruler who oppresses the Dragons. Although our numbers were not as numerous as in our heyday, he did the unforgivable."

Rigel can sense that Red hates the Dragon so much. Can be seen clearly from the look of his face and the air around him began to heat up. Rigel begins to think that maybe facing a Dragon in the last choice is like a double-edged knife.

Rigel knew that the Dragon of doom was so powerful that he chose to defeat the Phoenix and the White Tiger first while making other Heroes and himself much stronger. But it can also stab Rigel and other Heroes.

"The evil dragon of the bastard made the Dragons give up their blood every few months for the consumption of mixed-blooded Dragons and made an army consisting of mixed Dragons that were almost pure-blooded. Some of my people refused to give it to him until he was killed by him." Said Red.

That's why stalling longer can stab back towards Rigel. If the longer time Rigel wants, the more Dragon troops are gathered and the fight can be guaranteed to be very difficult. Rigel would not be surprised if he chose the Dragon in the first place, then he or any other Hero could perish without any meaningful resistance.

"Then, why don't you try to escape?" Leo asked. Rigel already knows the answer, but he will let Red answer Leo's question.

"We can do it, but man and nature will be destroyed by his rage. In the end you humans will also be victims."

Surely the Dragon of calamity will not just stand still when its slaves escape from the grasp of his hands. Even Rigel would have done the same if Altucray had run away from his responsibilities as a puppet King under his control.

The Dragons who had such a long lifespan were so wise, they would not allow a Race outside of the Dragon Race to experience the same thing as them. Your problem is your responsibility and my problem is my responsibility. In short, the problem that the Dragons experienced was their own responsibility and the other races had nowhere to interfere.

"Fortunately me and a few other Dragons never intended to stay in the Dragon Forest so we didn't fall into his hands. If only I had been much stronger, I would have freed them!" Red's body trembled as if completely frustrated because of how weak he was.

Rigel, Ray and Leo are sorry for what happened to the pure-blooded Dragon Race. This information is very useful in the future and Rigel is sure if no one knows the problems experienced by the Dragons. Been with Sylph, it's likely that she also knew some details about the case.

"I'm sorry for telling this good-for-nothing story. Our problems are our own, so we alone must solve them."

Rigel looked at Red as he thought Red would accept Rigel's proposal. The reason for the doubt is that there is nothing Rigel can guarantee that Red can hold. Rigel himself will not accept things like promises and trust in people he just met, most likely Red is the same as him.

The world is hard, absurd things like promises and trust can be betrayed so easily. Something, Rigel needs something that can make Red willing to accept his proposal. Until a few more seconds think, Rigel knows what he might be able to make the guarantee The risk is certainly not small but the benefits that can be a great achievement and great help in the future.

"What's up, Rigel? you look like a monkey confused to distinguish a banana from a stone." Red says a very silly parable.

"Red, I want to make a deal with you, will you listen to the proposal I'm about to make?"

Red raised his eyebrows in surprise but quickly returned it, "Let's listen to what you want to talk about."

Rigel nodded, "Let's be brief, in the future, I will definitely defeat the Dragon of calamity. Not that I have the intention to interfere, but I am a Hero and sooner or later must have to face the Dragon of calamity to reduce all threats. I fight the Dragon of calamity does not mean I am concerned with what befalls your race because it has nothing to do with me." Rigel paused for a moment and took a breath while observing the reaction made by Red.

"So?" Red realizes that is not the core of what Rigel is trying to convey.

"When I succeed in defeating the Dragon of calamity, I want you to take it as a debt of gratitude. You Dragons have high self-esteem, so I'm sure you won't forget your debt of gratitude for dropping your pride. I want you and the pure-blood Dragon Race to help humanity in the Ragnarok war when I need it."

Ray and Leo almost forgot to breathe. Rigel proposes a very bold deal that will benefit humanity in the future. The Dragon Race regained its freedom and the Humans gained an undeniable powerful favor, clearly both sides were on the loose.

I didn't even think about it at all! Your thinking is really sharp, Rigel. You look far ahead and make all the preparations beautifully. You are truly a terrible person and I have great respect for you! Inner Ray.

"Hahaha, you are indeed an interesting human being, Rigel. But I need a guarantee that I can hold, just in case you can't beat that bastard. Humans are a lie, relationships based on promise and trust will be difficult to believe in our Dragon Race." Said Red.

As expected, Red asks for a guarantee that if Rigel can't defeat him, Red will take something that he guarantees and Rigel has thought it through.

"My country... I'll make my country my guarantee that if I fail to do so, you're free to do whatever you want to my country."

Red and Rigel look each other in the eye. One to show determination and one to make sure.

"High your eyes in strength, Rigel and that kind of look always gave my scales goosebumps, but I loved it. All righty! I will accept your agreement and will stay in your country until the time comes!" Red slowly rose up and spouted fire into the air from his mouth. In this way, a future deal was both formed and they left together to the Region.

For the record, if only Rigel really failed to do so, Rigel would likely prepare a weapon to kill Red if he started rampaging in the Region. Surely Rigel wouldn't be as gentle as it was to let the Region be destroyed
