Hero VS Tortoise I

after speaking with the Fairy Queen, Rigel went to look for Ozaru and teleported back to Ruberios to pick up Asoka and Merial. The moment Rigel arrived, everyone looked surprised by it. Their faces looked like people who had just seen a ghost.

Rigel ignored the shock on their faces and looked around. There were fewer people present than before. Rigel also noticed that the candidates of the heavenly Emperor were sitting as if discussing.

If true, Rigel concluded that all that was allowed to hear their discussion was the chivalric head Ruberios, a significant person from each country such as Tirith and Merial and several influential nobles.

"Rigel! what are you doing here??" Asoka asked, running over to Rigel.

On the other hand, Alexei also looked curious. He got up from his chair and asked how things were going there.

"So far, we haven't heard any news about Tortoise since the heroes went to the Tortoise location. Can you tell me a little bit about what happened, Mr Rigel?" Alexei asked kindly.

Rigel hesitated for a moment, but he thought it was okay to give him a little information as a hand from him.

"In the beginning there were tens of thousands of armies of monsters of different types, ranging from Goblins to mixed Dragons. They controlled Tortoise through parasites, but we managed to clear it without any problems. The problem is that parasites, they'll be looking for a new host to live in when the old host dies, for that, I suggest that you don't send troops." Rigel told Alexei.

Everyone was surprised to hear it. Even facing a group of Goblins was quite troublesome. On top of that, there were many types of Monster Race and Blood Dragon mixed and their numbers reached thousands? Everyone could only imagine how brutal this massacre was. They made sure of one thing, that the heroes of today are very strong.

"Then, what about Tortoise?" Ask Alexei.

"He was asleep. Well, I'm sure one of the heroes will come and explain." Rigel's gaze turned to Asoka and Merial, "Let's get the hell out of here, Asoka, Merial." Continue Rigel.

"E-uh? the back? you mean to the Region?" Asoka asked in surprise, even Merial was just as surprised.

"Where else are we going to go home?" Rigel answered by asking another question.

"Why? shouldn't we face Tortoise?! if we go back right now, there'll be a lot of dead people getting crushed by that thing, Rigel!" Said Asoka, slightly raising her voice.

"I know what I'm doing, Asoka. After all, those heroes were there. They won't lose easily and I'm sure they can hold on until the evacuation is over. Cold your head, Asoka. " Rigel said coldly.

Asoka was stunned, this was the first time she and Rigel had almost had a fight like this. Asoka took a breath from her mouth and exhaled it. At least, his head will cool down a little.

"Huh.you're right Rigel. It seems I've been so stressed all day that I can't digest everything." Asoka said, kneeling her forehead and walking after Rigel listlessly.

Just as Rigel was about to leave, the voice of an old man sounded from behind him.

"Do you want to escape from your responsibilities, Coward?!" Altucray said, getting up from the chair and shouting.

Rigel stopped stepping, he clenched his hands furiously and said, "I've had enough patience with you, Pig. I hold my grudge because you tried to kill me with that bastard Takatsumi. I can't wait any further than this, it looks like you should get punished." Rigel turned around and walked towards Altucray.

Rigel unleashed the killing intent he had accumulated all along. Everyone present broke out in cold sweat from that pressure, even Altucray to the point of taking a single step back.

Alexei and Rudeus could not help, they could only stand still and feel Rigel's extremely strong pressure. As Rigel was about to climb onto the podium, a blond girl confronted him and brandished her sword.

"I won't let you go any further than this!" Snap Tirith.

Rigel paused for a moment and said, "Looking out of my way." with a cold look.

Tirith's sword trembled slightly, it seemed like he was afraid to brandish his weapon at Rigel and wished he had stopped until here. However, Rigel still took a step forward. Tirith's blade sliced through Rigel's cheek so that it drew blood.

"B-stop!" snapped Tirith.

Rigel continued to cut the distance, until his face was completely close to Tirith. Rigel had a wide smile on his lips as his eyes looked at Tirith.

"You think I'm going to stop at that girl who betrayed me and dared to brandish a gun to her loved one?! You know that bastard and your father tried to kill me, but you kept protecting him. You let me down again, Princess." Rigel.

After saying that, Rigel turned around and looked at Altucray who looked disgusting at being protected by his own daughter.

"Since you're still in need, I'll let you go. Next, no next time." Said Rigel, stepping towards Asoka and the others.

Asoka, Merial, and Ozaru gathered around Rigel to teleport back to the Region. There is still a lot to do from now on. Arriving in the Region, Rigel asks Asoka to tell him what they discussed while Rigel confronts Tortoise.

In summary, they discussed about combining their country's forces as a form of reinforcements for the heroes. The three candidates agreed, but Asoka refused and asked them to wait for the current state of Tortoise from the hero. All agreed and sent a small team to meet the heroes and from there, Marcel asked them to send reinforcements. Rudeus sent various invitation letters to the small country to send their troops as support for the hero.

Rigel thinks it looks like they won't listen to Rigel's advice not to send in a team. The situation will be even more troublesome if there are many people who are exposed to the parasite. Well, Rigel chose to pay attention to the situation while he was making preparations. Now, let's see how the other heroes battle in the absence of Rigel, Ozaru and Yuri.

At dawn, the sun will soon rise and the heroes are already lined up and preparing for the great battle. The iron wall Rigel created was the last line of defense. They can't let Tortoise reach that wall no matter what.

The hero infected by the parasite has been successfully healed by Ozaru and has recovered quickly. They don't know how Ozaru did it. He simply tapped the tip of his wand and the parasite disappeared.

The small team sent from Ruberios had arrived at midnight. They are Arc Wizard, support and some high-end adventurers who will support the hero. The world has begun to move, each country sends their troops to help the heroes defeat Tortoise. Of course there are some countries that do not send troops, Region is one of them.

The combined forces of the various countries are known as the United Army. Most likely, that troop would arrive around five days from now. Before Ragnarok arrives, humanity must successfully survive against the doom and terror of the demon race.

"He's up..." Takumi Mumbled.

The mountain on Tortoise's back trembled and slowly rose along with the sunlight that was beginning to rise. The small army of Ruberios seemed to be sweating coldly and afraid to see the scene before them. Even the heroes look quite surprised. Supposedly, there's a big crack in Tortoise's head. Yet...

"His wounds..." Mumbled Aland.

"Disappeared??" Takumi muttered with a face of disbelief.

"Oii, is it possible to defeat this creature..." Argo Gumam.

Among the beasts of doom, Tortoise was the monster with the weakest attack power. However, he was a monster with the strongest destruction and defense among them. Once again, humanity is reminded of how terrible the doom is. The battle is just about to begin....
