Being the center of attention is what happens to Scarlet as soon as her feet climb into the office together with Samuel. It felt so strange, Scarlet followed Samuel from behind like a kitten missing its mother.

The eye gaze of Samuel's employees made Scarlet unable to bear it at all. He even sensed that someone had started whispering behind him after they passed by. His back was hot, he was more and more convinced that anyone was talking about him. How not, this is the first time Samuel came along with a woman. Their boss who is famous for his phobia with cleanliness was never close to anyone let alone with any woman but this morning, they actually got an unexpected sight.

How many women have chased him, some have not given up but no one has managed to chase after their strange boss. The assistant who always cleaned every place and everything their boss would touch could not be that close to Samuel.

Semuel stopped his steps because the slow-moving Scarlet was already left behind. Scarlet lowered her head while occasionally looking left and right, she really did not like the current situation. He shouldn't have come, it shouldn't have been because the trouble would have started today.

Samuel who waited was very upset, the young man again stepped closer to Scarlet who was so slow as a lost snail. Scarlet was shocked when her steps were blocked. Scarlet hurriedly raised her face and found Samuel standing arrogantly before her and looking fixedly at her.

"You want to make me wait for you how long?"

"Eh, hm?" Scarlet looked around again and looked awkward.

"Ck!" Samuel grabbed Scarlet's hand and pulled her away. Of course his actions made a scene but no one dared to make a sound. All held back but when they were already inside the elevator, the employees who saw it started gossiping.

"Samuel, wait!" Scarlet tried to pull his hand but failed.

"Don't waste my time just waiting for you!"

"I-I won't repeat it so let go!" he asked because he was uncomfortable. Some people know that he is Darien's lover so let no one think he cheated on Darien and everyone blames him so he is wrong.

"Why? Don't you like me holding your hand?" Samuel glanced at her, to see Scarlet's facial expression.

"It's not. I have my own considerations so don't hold my hand like this!"

"Oh, I also have my own considerations!" scarlet's hands were released but Samuel grabbed Scarlet's waist and hugged her. Scarlet was shocked, she was anxious to protest but the elevator that took them had stopped and the door was open.

Scarlet could not argue, even though she felt like a puppet. Samuel took her into his room, a table was already available for Scarlet as they would work in one room. Whether he could or not, he did not know because this was the first time he would do the job.

"I have a meeting in a minute, you're working on this document!" samuel said, providing a document that Scarlet had to work on.

"What's? I don't understand this job!"

"Can you give me a light job? I really don't understand this job!" rather than making a mistake, it was better to be straightforward if he could not.

"I told you, someone will teach you! Learn it right, you can do it later!"

Samuel who did not have much time left to have a meeting that would soon be held. He had already ordered someone to go into his room to teach Scarlet but not a single person had come because all were busy with their respective jobs. Scarlet who did not know at all of course waited long enough so that she started working on it alone even though she did not know the truth or not what she was doing at the moment.

His head was sore, he was completely blind to such a job because he had a low education as well. Scarlet flipped through the paper impatiently, she tried her best with minimal knowledge but she had already destroyed the document without her noticing. Samuel who thought that someone had helped Scarlet back, he had high hopes for Scarlet but when he saw the documents that had been destroyed, Samuel was furious with Scarlet.

"What are you doing with this document?" Samuel shouted loudly, making Scarlet startled and lowered her head.

"I've tried my best" replied Scarlet without daring to look at Samuel.

"Stupid, why do easy work like this is not so bad!" samuel shouted as he threw the documents under Scarlet's feet. Again Scarlet was surprised, Samuel was so angry that Scarlet was doodling the document.

"I told you I don't understand but you forced me!" Scarlet didn't want to be blamed just like that even though it was her fault.

"You are completely useless! Why don't you wait for me to come back?" it felt like cursing but he tried to hold back. If you can't, why do you have to doodle like that?

"Yes, I'm useless!" Scarlet was really offended by Samuel saying, "I'm just a useless person that's why I was sold by my boyfriend just because I didn't want to have sex with him. I'm useless so everyone hates me and you know I'm useless!" the feeling returned, the feeling that stifled the chest. Scarlet's tears even flowed. These days he is so emotional that he is easily offended.

Scarlet dared to look at Samuel. The young man looked at him sharply but he was not afraid. Scarlet wiped her tears violently, she was indeed useless which is why she was able to be there due to betrayal.

Samuel sighed, I don't know who was to blame at the moment. Samuel walked out of his seat without saying anything. She knew Scarlet needed to adapt, it seemed like she was being too hard. Samuel came out of the room, leaving Scarlet still crying. Scarlet's feeling was completely chaotic, it felt like she wanted to escape from the reality she was hard to accept.

Two minutes later, Scarlet was left alone, trying not to cry, but she realized she couldn't be there for too long. Samuel is leaving, isn't this a chance for him to leave? Couldn't he run because there wasn't Samuel? This was his chance, he should have done it earlier.

Without a second thought, Scarlet walked out of Samuel's room and escaped secretly. There is guilt in the heart but it is not his desire. He had to take advantage of the circumstances to run away from the young man's hand because he didn't want to be anyone's paid lover no matter what else he didn't enjoy his money.

No one knew of her disappearance because all was busy, Scarlet managed to escape from Samuel. He's going to Darien's family home because he wants to find Darien to hold him accountable because of everything that happened to him because of Darien.

He wished Darien well to be there because that was where he hoped to meet Darien even though he would face the Darien family who did not like him. Not long after Scarlet escaped, Samuel returned with an employee he called to teach Scarlet but the room he had just left was empty. Scarlet didn't feel anywhere even though she was looking. Samuel felt deceived, he was really angry that Scarlet was running away from him secretly.
