It's Takes Time

Lunch time has arrived. Samuel takes Scarlet to lunch first before going to the hospital to see the person who wants to meet Scarlet. During the meal, Scarlet looked agitated. What if the one he met was really his parents or one of his family members? Somehow he wished so much that he knew his past but honestly he was scared and unprepared.

Scarlet isn't even so appetizing. Curiosity is higher than the hunger he feels,. It felt like he wanted to take Samuel away but there was a fear he felt. What if he really is the son of a ja*ang but if that is the case, why is he wanted?

"Why not eat? Doesn't it taste good?" ask Samuel.

"No, it's not that. I just don't have a taste for food. What if we just go? I really can't wait" Scarlet asked.

"No, eat all that food and then we go!"

"I'm really not feeling well, Sam. We'll just go to the hospital."

"Listen to me, I know you're restless and impatient but you don't eat anything from morning and it's not good for your stomach. Don't let you get sick just because you're patient."

"But me?"

"Eat, if not then we won't go anywhere!"

Scarlet sighed, she was really not hungry or anything because her mind was already going nowhere. Between being curious and inquisitive as well as restless, he actually felt an uncertain feeling. Although he was reluctant because he did not taste at all but in the end Scarlet enjoyed the food.

Alfredo and Diana were already waiting impatiently. Diana even enlists the help of her husband to replace her clothes with nicer ones because she wants to look presentable when she meets Scarlet, whom she suspects is their missing daughter.

They wait long enough for anxiety and nervousness. Unpleasant thoughts also make them nervous. Diana was only afraid, afraid that they would be unforgivable and unacceptable, but she still hoped that their search would pay off.

Samuel and Scarlet had already come to the hospital, they were greeted by a man and that person was the one Samuel had met. They were escorted to a room where Diana was undergoing treatment. Scarlet was getting more nervous, her steps were heavy because she was afraid let alone they were already standing in front of the room.

"No need to doubt!" samuel was holding his hand. She knew that Scarlet was nervous and she thought that everyone in Scarlet's position would definitely show the same reaction.

"I'm scared!" scarlet.

"What are you afraid of? There I am so there's no need to be afraid."

Scarlet simply nodded, her heart racing as the door of the room opened and they were welcome to enter.

"Sir, they've come" said the man who delivered them in Spanish.

"Thank you" Alfred saw the guest he was waiting for as well as Diana. His gaze could not be separated from Scarlet who was standing behind Samuel.

"Son, come. Can we see you closer?" pinta Alfredo's.

"Me?" asked Scarlet who was already very nervous as soon as she walked into the room.

"Well, comehere. I want to see you closer!" pinta Alfredo's.

Scarlet stepped closer despite the hesitation and awkwardness. Diana was already very impatient, so Diana asked Scarlet to come closer and extend her hand. Scarlet turned to Samuel, she seemed to need support.

"Come here, we won't hurt you. We just want to talk" Diana asked.

"I'm sorry, ma'am," Scarlet's getting awkward.

"Please hold my hand!" pinta Diana's.

"Me?" Scarlet looked doubtful.

"Please, hold my hand!" pinta Diana who was still trying to extend a hand towards Scarlet.

Scarlet stepped closer and held Diana's hand. A strange feeling flowed from within, Diana's tears even dripped without her wanting.

"What's your name and how old are you?"

"I'm Scarlet, 25."

"Persis, exactly the same!" said Diana.

"I mean Madam?"

"Listen, son, 25 years ago we lost our daughter when we visited Brazil" Alfredo said.

"What's? Then what does this have to do with me?"

"There certainly is, there certainly is. It's likely you're our missing baby!" said Diana.

"No way, do you have any evidence?" Scarlet released Diana's hand and stepped back. How come? He was sure there was no such coincidence.

"Of course we have proof. Although our daughter disappeared as a baby but we knew our daughter had a birthmark on her back. If you were really our daughter, you'd have a sign like that, wouldn't you?" ask Alfredo.

Scarlet was silent, she just stepped back. Are both of those people really his parents? Everything was quite sudden, he was still confused and it was hard to believe what was going on right now.

"Please show me, do you have that mark?" pinta Diana's.

"I don't know!" Scarlet ran out suddenly because she was confused by the situation.

"Please don't run, don't go!" pinta Diana who was trying to prevent but she was unable to even her weak body fell back on the bed.

"Wait!" pinta Alfredo but he was confused between chasing Scarlet or wanting to calm his screaming wife asking Scarlet not to go.

"I'll bring him back!" samuel said, Just watching.

"Please I have to look after my wife!" pinta Alfredo's. Samuel runs out to chase Scarlet, who suddenly runs away.

"Don't go, I'm not done talking!" diana shouted while crying.

"Don't force yourself. It must have been sudden and I think he was just surprised!"

"Please go after Alfred, hurry!" pinta Diana's.

"The young man will help us."

"Why he escaped. Alfred. Does he not forgive us?"

"I guess he's just surprised."

"What if he doesn't believe us and then blames us, Alfred. What if he hates us!" this was what he feared, for twenty-five knew they had searched but the results were nil but only now could they find their lost son. If Scarlet was their daughter she would have blamed those who were incapable, which is why Scarlet ran away.

"Not so, he must have been just surprised because of the sudden. I think he'll come back later so get some rest."

Diana could only cry, she hoped Scarlet would come back because she wasn't done let alone they hadn't ascertained whether Scarlet was really their daughter or not but when viewed from her reaction, she said, looks like Scarlet is really their daughter.

Samuel chased Scarlet who had run out of the hospital and sat pensively in the garden near the hospital. Whatisthis? He never imagined he would meet his parents. He never imagined it and he was not ready at all.

Samuel came up to him, and sat by his side. She knew Scarlet must have been surprised and it took some time because Scarlet would rather be alone in the park near the hospital than go straight back to the hotel when if she didn't, she could.
