Her crying had stopped, but Scarlet sat down blankly and with a great disappointment. I don't know what else to do, he doesn't know. It felt really unfair, everything suddenly changed and his fate somehow after this.

A glass of cold drink was placed by the waiter onto the table. Without saying anything Scarlet grabbed the drink and gulped it down because she was so thirsty. Had it been poisonous, he didn't care that even he wished the drink was truly poisonous.

Samuel sat before him, his eyes not separated from Scarlet who was silent a thousand words after venting her anger that would definitely not be finished just like that. He did not expect that the man who claimed to be Scarlet's foster brother was his lover even he did not suspect that he had been deceived but what did he care? The only woman who could touch him was Scarlet and she would not waste the opportunity.

"Please, let me go!" pinta Scarlet pleads. He looked pitiful, his appearance was even messy and chaotic.

"What do you mean ask that?" Samuel pretended not to understand. Even if he's been deceived, and Scarlet is the same, but the agreement is still the agreement. After all he would not let go of Scarlet easily because that woman was very special.

"Don't pretend you don't know!" Scarlet raised her face and looked at Samuel with a glare, "I don't want this to happen, I don't want to be your mercenary so let me go!" Scarlet asked back with a pleading expression.

"Can't, I won't let you go!" reject Samuel.

"Why? Why can't you?" Scarlet almost shrieked as a result of the emotions she had regained.

"Because you're special, so I can't just let go of you!"

"What?" Scarlet was startled, her mouth gaping as she could not believe what Samuel had just said. She special? They didn't know each other, when the restaurant was their first meeting then why would Samuel consider it special? It seemed like the man was joking but the words he spoke were not funny at all.

"Don't joke, we don't know each other, even if I don't remember your name so well, how can you say I'm special? Have you lost your mind? Or is this a new way to get a slave?"

"What did you say? I'm asking you to be my mercenary, not a slave!"

"Look at my performance!" Scarlet got up from the seat, then turned around a few times, "What drew from me that you considered this foreign lady special you don't know? I'm sure you're not blind and I'm sure you have good taste, so you better let me go before you get scorned by people because you want an ordinary orphan girl like that i'm it!" scarlet. He sat down again after saying so. He hoped Samuel would rethink and let go. The Darien family alone did not want him because of his status then what about leaving Samuel? They would be like the Darien family much less he could see, if Samuel had more power than the Darien family.

Samuel smiled, seeing his appearance. What is wrong with an orphan? She thinks Scarlet's appearance is quite attractive, there's nothing wrong with her appearance but why does Scarlet feel she's unattractive?

"I beg you, please let me go. I will repay your money every month until it is paid off so release me. I will definitely take responsibility even if I don't enjoy the money at all. After all you made a deal without me so I guess, the agreement is not valid because you made a deal without me!" as much as possible he should get justice for what he did not do. He's just a victim and he doesn't want to be sold like that.

"The deal will be made there or without you, the opportunity is still valid because there is your signature and there is your identity.  I don't care about the reasons you have but I wonder, why would your lover be able to get your identity? A signature might be imitated but an identity card? You shouldn't trust a man too much!"

"Does that mean I can't trust you?"

"That's your right, believe it or not but one thing is certain, you've been my lover for the next two years so don't think you can run or you can leave because I'm gonna break both your legs!" threaten Samuel.

"Where are you going?" ask Samuel.

"Go, I'm not going to be your puppet!" scarlet. He thought Samuel would be angry or deter but the man kept quiet and walked away. Good, he was quite content to think Samuel would let go but Samuel's words before he reached the exit shocked him.

"When you get out that door, I'm gonna stop the donation I made to the orphanage where you grew up even if I can sell the land because the orphanage is standing on my land!" said Samuel.

"What did you say?" Scarlet turned, looking at the young man with a clueless look.

"Hm, it seems like you're too busy with your world until you don't know what's going on. Two days ago the orphanage land was already going to be sold at an auction but I bought it therefore if you dare to take a single step of my foot out the door then I will sell to an investor who can develop the land!"

"That-No way!" scarlet said, not believing what Samuel said. If something happened to the orphanage, the abbot must have contacted him but why didn't the abbot tell him that?

"If you don't believe what I'm saying then you can figure it out yourself but remember, you'll get the reward if you dare to step both your feet out that door!" he had to threaten Scarlet to keep Scarlet from leaving. Other than the orphanage, she was sure Scarlet wasn't easily threatened.

"Nonsense, did you deliberately buy that orphanage to threaten me? Did you plan this to frame me so I can't leave?" Scarlet did not leave, but instead approached Samuel who was standing not far from her.

"I'm not threatening you, I just want you to know if you've bought me so don't act as you please!"

"I'm not a ja*ang you can buy!" scarlet shouted full of emotion.

"I didn't buy you as ja*ang but I bought you as my hired lover so if you want to get angry, then get angry at your lover who sold you out. I'm just the one who wants you and I'm not the one who's going to waste the opportunity that's in sight!"

Scarlet fell silent, unable to answer. Everything that happened was Darien. Scarlet looked at Samuel with a sharp gaze and with tears in her eyes. Whether or not how much she had cried, she did not know for sure that was all she could do to shed the chest-stifling disappointment.

"Take me off, please," Scarlet pleaded.

"No!" Samuel walked away, and Scarlet could only cry.

"Take him rest!" samuel commanded before he entered a room.

Scarlet fell down and covered her face with both hands. Scarlet screamed and cried, Samuel could hear her but he didn't care, Maybe what she did was a little cruel but she didn't care because she already got what she wanted so she wouldn't let Scarlet go because she was the only woman who could touch with her and she's sure, Scarlet can help her to cure her OCD. Had Scarlet not been sold by her lover, had Scarlet's lover not betrayed her, she would have been able to obtain Scarlet using her means.
