The Lovers of the Charge of Master Samuel
The Painful Reality

Scarlet is still trying to find Darien because she wants to apologize to her lover. The more guilt he felt because Darien was no longer able to contact him. His phone suddenly went off and this had never happened before.

Scarlet was getting more anxious, Darien had never been like this before even though they had a fight but today, Darien had suddenly disappeared without any news. Did her refusal to have sex really make Darien angry? But this was not the first time she had refused because Darien had invited her to do so many times and she had always rejected him.

Dislike of their relationship like that makes Scarlet decide to look for Darien in her home. It was still early so she knew that Darien must be home. After all, there was still time before his time to work and he wanted to resolve the issues between them as soon as possible. He will explain to Darien why he refuses to have sex and he hopes Darien understands the fear he feels and forgives him but unfortunately, Darien does, he was sold by his own lover without his knowledge.

Scarlet had already arrived at Darien's house, she was well-received because everyone already knew her. Scarlet was not prevented from entering the house, which she was looking for was of course the whereabouts of her lover.

"Darien, are you still sleeping?" Scarlet called out as she stepped towards Darien's room.

"Darien!" Scarlet called back because there was no answer. Strange, isn't Darien home? Is Darien in his family home right now?

"Did Darien not come home?" Scarlet asked the waiter who was busy cleaning the house.

"Young master hasn't come back since last night, Miss," replied the maid.

Scarlet fell silent, so Darien didn't come back? Was Darien really mad at him just because of that matter? No. no way.

"Thank you" Scarlet said as she walked away with a troubled mind. Scarlet picked up the phone because she wanted to call Darien back. Hopefully the phone is active, hopefully Darien is only angry for a moment but unfortunately, Scarlet really can not contact her lover again.

"Darry, Darien. Please answer my call," she pleaded. Anxiety filled his heart, so his tears could no longer be contained.

Scarlet tried to contact him several times even though the results were nil. Tears are getting worse. She was afraid that their relationship would run aground due to her rejection last night but did she have to accept the invitation from Darien?

"Darien, I'm sorry for you. Please don't ignore me like this. I knew I was wrong so call me right away and forgive me. Meet me at the restaurant, Darien. I want us to talk so don't ignore me like this!" pinta Scarlet to her lover who has gone out of nowhere. Of course the message he left through the voice box. Hopefully Darien will hear the message he left and look for it at the restaurant.

Scarlet was hoping Darien would contact her immediately to calm down her feelings. Although in anxiety, inevitably he went to work because he did not want to be late. Work and lovers are equally important, therefore, he must attach importance to both.

Every second and minute Scarlet went through with a feeling of anxiety. If there was a chance he would definitely look towards the door because he wanted to know if Darien had come or not. The more she waited, the more she felt anxious because Darien was nowhere to be seen at all.

"Scarlet, there's a guest waiting for you in room number four and bring this!" the manager's orders when it's noon.

"What's the guy's guest?" asked Scarlet who was very hopeful if it was Darien.

"Yeah, deliver the order immediately and you can accompany him to talk!"

"Thank you!" Scarlet was certainly very happy and impatient because she thought Darien was waiting for her. Scarlet rushed over without wasting any time, she hoped Darien would forgive her and would understand why she refused but when she walked into the room, Scarlet was surprised to see the young man waiting for her.

His facial expression changed. Scarlet showed a displeased expression as the one who was waiting for her at that moment was Samuel. Samuel has come to meet the woman he paid to be his lover and today he will show Scarlet the covenant they agreed to because Scarlet did not come last night.

"What are you waiting for me for?" scarlet asked sarcastically while putting down the food that Samuel ordered.

"I came to meet my lover so there's no harm, is there?"

"Who you meet with shouldn't be my business!" scarlet said cynically.

"What do you mean by that?" scarlet asked not understanding.

"Sit down, we talk. I know you're shy and selling expensive so sit down!"

Scarlet frowned, a sign she did not understand.  Embarrassed? Selling expensive? I don't know what the young man said but he came to think that Samuel was a young man with a mental disorder.

"I really don't have the time to deal with a troubled youth like yourself. I'd better go because I have something to do!" said Scarlet who was about to leave.

"I said, sit down!" snapped Samuel.

The two of them stared at each other with sharp eyes. Scarlet was still trying to be patient even though it felt like she wanted to throw the strange young man away. Do not let him actually lose his job just because of the strange young man who sucks. Scarlet sat down slowly but her eyes were still on Samuel.

"Hurry, I still have to get back to work!" said it.

"Is that the attitude you showed your lover?"

"Huh?" scarlet's mouth was gaping hearing that. Was that guy named Samuel not eating the wrong medicine?

"Please don't joke, it's not funny at all!" scarlet said in an annoyed tone.

"Looks like you're good at the show, Scarlet. Is this your way of getting my attention?" Samuel threw the covenant letter Scarlet was supposed to keep, "You forgot it!" said again.

"Forget what?" really, he was so clueless as to what the young man meant that even Scarlet looked at the paper that had been neatly wedged on the table.

"That's the covenant letter you must keep and remember, don't break a single point of the covenant letter you made yourself and as long as you're my hired lover, you mustn't approach any man!"

"Wait a minute, what do you mean mercenary? When do you want to be your paid lover and what do you mean by this!" scream Scarlet wrathfully.

"Stop pretending you don't know!" shouts Sanuel anyway.

"You asked your foster brother for help to meet me and accept my offer. You're even asking for a pretty high fee so don't pretend you don't know when you've agreed to be my paid lover through the Darien you trust and the one million dollars you want already it's in the hands of that guy named Darien so don't be so pretentious not to know because you can't fool me!" Samuel was upset that he thought Scarlet was just pretending.

"W-What did you say?" samuel's words were like a great hammer smashing into his heart and head. Become Samuel's mercenary? He refused, but how could he? Scarlet was stunned but she began to realize that it was all Darien because her lover only knew. Scarlet quickly took the letter of agreement, like being struck by lightning in broad daylight, Scarlet was in shock that her name was printed on the letter of the agreement along with her signature and identity.

"No!" Scarlet put down the covenant letter while shaking her head. Was he dreaming or was it a joke prepared by Darien to surprise him?

"No way, it's all a lie!' said again.

"Unfortunately, no!" said Samuel.

"No!" Scarlet shouted loudly. Whahuh? What did Darien actually do? Why did Darien have so much heart for her and her taste, though, his face had just been slapped by a big hand because he had been sold by his own lover to a foreign man with a completely absurd agreement without his knowledge.
