Darien is forced to return home because Susan is still in prison. Both of her parents tried but they could not release Susan because of the strong evidence provided by a lawyer sent by Samuel and the evidence made them not dwell at all. Although Susan was battered but she was the one who splashed the fight first and Scarlet was the victim.

That fact they cannot accept. Susan's face was battered but she was in prison for that reason, Darien was asked to go home because she had to go to see Scarlet. She had to ask Scarlet to retract the report so Susan could be free. The money from selling Scarlet was completely used up for her to have some fun with some women. It's profitable, she doesn't care what Scarlet wants to be because she's sure she can find a much better woman than Scarlet but her parents' requests really give her a headache.

"What do you mean you're asking me to go see Scarlet?" daren asked after hearing her father and mother's request.

"Of course to persuade her to let Susan go. Your brother's been in jail long enough. Are you the heart?" said mother.

"But this is a crazy request. I can't go to see her just like that because Scarlet definitely won't listen to my request!"

"You're really stupid. Why did you sell it to Samuel Archiles? What are you really thinking?" ask father.

"I got a million dollars, Dad. That's very tempting money that's why I sold it. After all I've been unwilling to get into a relationship with her who's such a saint so there's no harm in me selling her!"

"You didn't sell it wrong, but you sold it to the wrong people. Why Samuel? Why not the criminals or the others?" ask mother.

"Mom, that guy made the offer, not me. That's why I didn't waste my chance!"

"Good, very good but you see? We had a hard time getting her out because the guy was helping Scarlet so you should go see Scarlet and if you can, buy her back."

"What does Mommy mean?" Darien is shocked to hear his mother's crazy idea.

"True, buy him back for a million dollars. Scarlet won't dwell because there's nothing to help her anymore and once we buy her back, then we'll destroy her easily. He has to replace your brother in prison and he's powerless because there's nothing to help so buy him back!" said father.

"You crazy, Samuel can't be tempted by a million dollars to offer because no business person wants to lose."

"If so make a higher offer, he will!" said mother.

"I'm not sure, Mom!" he was sure it wasn't that easy and he was sure Samuel bought Scarlet from him for some special reason. There must be a reason why he wasn't sure Samuel was going to sell Scarlet back.

"If so do something to free Susan!" his mother shouted angry.

"By the police, what a problem!" yelled Darien pula.

"We tried it but the cops didn't!"

"If so the money you gave me is less!"

"Darien!" his father shouted in anger. His son is stupid.

"You're really stupid. Why sell Scarlet? You can just leave it. That way he won't take revenge or anything and now, all because of you so go see Scarlet to free your sister or buy her back from Samuel. Use any means to get your sister out of jail. Your brother's future will really be ruined if he stays in jail longer!"

"alright, fine. I'm leaving!" darien said even though he didn't know what to do.

She couldn't have gone to see Scarlet because she knew Scarlet must have hated herself. It's all complicated, Susan's looking for Scarlet but she doesn't expect Scarlet to take advantage of the situation so quickly. He seems to have become Samuel's vindictive, so he used Samuel very well, but the problem is, where should he start? Does he have to go see Samuel and buy Scarlet back like his father and mother thought?

No, he better go find Scarlet. He believed it would be easier to talk to Scarlet than to talk to Samuel who was not tempted by the money. But he'll do it later because he has to go to the office for a while.

The news of Darien's return had of course been heard by Samuel. Good, she was sure Scarlet would be happy to hear this and she was sure Scarlet was expecting it already. He wanted to see what Scarlet would do to the man.

"What's wrong?" Scarlet stepped closer after putting the file on the table.

"Newspaper? Good news or bad news?"

"Well guess?" Samuel pulled Scarlet closer and stuck their foreheads together.

"Looks like good news. Is my guess right?" scarlet asked without taking her eyes off Samuel's very close face.

"Want to hear it now or later?"

"Of course now, do you intend to hide it from me?"

"No, but you should know there's a reward for this news and I guarantee you'll be happy to hear it."

"The reward you want is, will you take it after you're in bed?"

"You misunderstood, Scarlet. I'm not asking for such a reward."

"Then, what do you want?"

"I just want a kiss from you nothing more."

"Oh," Scarlet turned her face away because she was embarrassed to have misunderstood.

"Alright, no need for rewards!" Samuel pulled him back to get closer, "Look, your ex-boyfriend is back, he said.

"What?"

"Are you happy to hear that? You're looking for her whereabouts, aren't you?"

"Of course, after selling me he just disappeared. Don't think after this he can live quietly!" Scarlet wrapped her hands around Samuel's neck, she had not expected to hear this sooner.

"You're still gonna help me, aren't you?"

"As you wish" said Samuel, and after that, he was surprised that Scarlet kissed his lips.

"What you want!" scarlet.

Samuel kissed Scarlet's lips before Scarlet answered. The kiss she gave off felt different because she did it so feelingly. Scarlet closed both eyes, just wait. He made sure Darien regretted pushing him into Samuel's arms because it was Samuel who would destroy Darien and his whole proud family.
