The Lovers of the Charge of Master Samuel
Not Being a Doll

The rain was increasingly pouring with heavy, from afar visible lightning that struck incessantly. Samuel stood in front of the window long enough to wait for Scarlet to come back but for so long he waited, Scarlet did not return either. Somehow where Scarlet was at the moment, she had already ordered someone to look for her but she felt unsettled because of the rain.

Samuel could only wait because such weather was his great enemy and the most anti-phobia he had suffered. He'll wait a little while longer until the men he sent bring news to him but what if Scarlet's whereabouts aren't found?  It seemed like she had to go look for Scarlet even though her illness would recur due to the wet state where the germs she disliked must have been so many. It was unlikely that he would do so but he could not lose the only person he could come into contact with.

"Prepare the car, I want to go!" samuel orders his personal assistant because

"But, Sir?" The assistant looked doubtful as Samuel never went anywhere while it was raining.

"I want to go find it myself, get the car ready!" an indisputable order that inevitably, the assistant did so because he could not argue.

Although the rain was getting heavier, it did not dampen Samuel's intention to look for Scarlet. All the roads are traced, I don't know how long he didn't care because he wanted to find Scarlet's whereabouts. She shouldn't be too hard on Scarlet and scold her for her mistakes when Scarlet said she couldn't.

Scarlet stood at the side of the stop with a chaotic mind. His hands occasionally stretched out to catch the rain and after that, Scarlet looked up to see the torrent of rain that never stopped. The cold air made him rub his arms occasionally. Scarlet is getting desperate because she doesn't know where to go.

Samuel who was looking for him finally got a report from his men if Scarlet was at a bus stop. Not wanting to waste time, Samuel ordered his assistant to go to the stop immediately but his car stopped quite a distance away. Samuel did not go directly to Scarlet, the young man actually noticed Scarlet who was sitting at the stop.

"What are you going to do, sir? Do you want me to come to him?" ask assistant.

"What do you think I should do with him? I really wanted to punish him but if I act even harder, I'm sure he'll run away from me again!"

"But she's just a foreign woman of uncertain origin, sir. Are you gonna be generous to that woman?"

"I'm not being generous, but he's the only one I can touch and if I want this disease to heal, I have to keep him by my side. After all I paid him dearly, I don't want to lose anything! Now take me there!" samuel's orders.

"Good, Sir!" the car was brought closer and stopped at the side of the bus stop. Scarlet didn't flinch at the car, she knew it was Samuel. The man could not possibly let go of himself after the large sum of money he had spent to buy himself.

The assistant came out first, an umbrella was prepared so that Samuel would not get wet from the rain. Scarlet got out of her seat as Samuel got out of the car. Whether he should be grateful or angry for the events he went through, he did not know.

If Samuel hadn't bought it, then he would never have known the nature of Darien even he could have married the wrong person but to be honest, he would have never known, he did not want to be bought by anyone and become anyone's paid lover. Although there was wisdom from the incident but he had to bond with the young man for two years and had to be his prisoner.

"What are you coming for?" Scarlet was so cynical, she did not hesitate to show Samuel dislike.

"You are mine. Do you think you can just run away from me?"

"I don't belong to anyone and I don't you belong to you!" scarlet shouted furiously.

"Whatever you say, you can't change the truth if you're mine!" Samuel grabs Scarlet's hand, intending to take her away from the place but Scarlet brushes her hand away. Due to the anger and feelings she endured after the humiliation she had received from Darien's mother, Scarlet could no longer hold back from holding back her anger and venting everything on Samuel.

"I wouldn't be your pet, I wouldn't be your puppet!" he screamed while hitting.

"Stop!" Samuel tries to hold her back, but Scarlet doesn't stop.

"I hate you, I hate you all!" Scarlet was still shouting while hitting. Her tears spilled because she couldn't hold it back.

"I was raised in an orphanage, I don't have parents but do you think I want this? Do you think I can choose the course of my life and choose who will give birth to me? If I was a child abandoned by a ja*ang, do you think I wanted one? I can't choose my way of life, can't but you can only look down on me being raised in an orphanage!"  Scarlet literally spills her anger on Samuel due to Darien's mother's humiliation.

"You can only insult me. Just because you have money, you can only insult me!" both hands clutching Samuel's suit tightly, Scarlet cried sobbing to shed all the grievances she felt in her heart.

"You're all evil, evil!" he said again, delivering a blow to Samuel's chest.

Samuel was silent but a feeling of pity arose in his heart because Scarlet did not stop crying. He's not the one who has those feelings, he never takes pity on anyone but somehow, Scarlet's circumstances pity him.

Scarlet who was still crying was surprised when Samuel hugged her and rubbed her head slowly. Nothing was said by the man because Samuel was not a man who liked to speak stale especially he was not a man with a sweet mouth. The absence of experience with women makes it not know how to be sweet to women who are sad. She did not know what to say to comfort Scarlet moreover she did not know what the woman had just experienced.

Scarlet's cry grew and for just a moment, she needed the man's warm embrace to shed all the sadness she felt. He hated Samuel, but he needed him for a moment.

Scarlet's two hands were already coiled around Samuel's body, after this he would figure out a way to find Darien and avenge what he had done. He will also avenge the humiliation given by Darien's mother even though he does not know how but the most he has to do before his wish happens is, he must be able to escape Samuel's grip first even though he knows it's hard, even though he knows the man can't possibly let go of himself just like that.
