“Hufffffffff!”
Krimson seemed to be breathing so heavily as soon as he was about to enter the match.
Seeing that, Ferdi, the captain, approached him and touched his shoulder warmly.
“Take it easy. Everything will be fine.” Verdi said softly.
Hearing that, Krimson just turned around and looked at the senior with a nod.
“Hmm. This time I will fight the maximum for the team and will not make stupid mistakes again.” Krimson said with determination.
Meanwhile outside, the atmosphere of the audience in the virtual room A started to boisterous. Unfortunately, their boisterousness was not due to Krimson and his comrades' anticipation, but rather the opposing team, Team Lost Child, who had performed magnificently in the previous fight.
But of course it wasn't with Luca and the troupe. They all have a strong spirit of nationalism to support the team from his homeland.
The atmosphere grew increasingly boisterous as both teams entered the arena of the match.
This time, the rules of the match were simpler. The two teams that advance to the second round will be randomly transferred to a match area that is twice as small as the previous first round arena. Then they will fight each other until only one team remains.
“This is weird huh. What I usually watch on TV, one on one matches usually only start when entering the round of 32. It's only 128 big, but it's already held.” Nina commented.
“But isn't that more exciting? Some battle royal matches sometimes pass players who win because of luck. Strong opponents are always hostile to each other. As a result, the loser team is always left in second place.” Raia added.
Luca was only speechless as he stared at the front of the stage, but still put his ears to listen to their chatter.
A few moments later, the match began.
The players begin to be transferred to the area at random.
But even the unexpected happens.
The eyes of the audience did not say that. Apparently, the audience had been waiting for that scene.
Once summoned to the area, Ekila immediately summoned his Twin Dragon and swept the arena with a combination attack of fire and ice.
“Ck. I knew the attack would come first. All of them! As planned! We gather to the middle of the arena where the tamer is!” Ferdi shouted through his communication device giving orders.
“Good.”
“Good.”
“Good.”
“Good.”
One by one, the team members replied.
Once the five of them managed to gather in the middle of the arena, the shielder immediately activated his greatest protection skill.
As a result, the first wave attack from Ecila was successfully passed after a while.
The Shadow Park team seemed happy, thinking that the moment they had been waiting for was counterattacking.
Unfortunately, it seems the tamer deliberately lured them.
The first wave of attacks was not over.
The tamer had not yet entered the cooldown period of his attack.
“Syef, beware!”
It was Krein who managed to immediately realize the tamer's cunning so that the shield, Shef, could quickly strengthen the defense of his shield.
But it's not enough.
“Skill: Barrier Pyramid.”
Krein activates his pyramid-shaped barrier behind Shef's shield, becoming his team's second refuge.
The combined fire and ice attacks came simultaneously. However, the change in heat and cold was so rapid, it finally made the shield of Shef break so that the combined attack of fire and ice continued to penetrate towards the barrier of Krein.
But just not for a long time, Krein's barrier also began to show signs of cracking and finally completely impregnated.
Fortunately, before the attack arrived, Ferdi and Krimson immediately jumped each in a different direction, while Krein also threw the mage in front of him and was smoothly captured by Krimson.
Ferdi, Krimson, and the mage survived the attack. But not for Krein and Shef. They soon gameover from the match under the tamer's indiscriminate attack.
“Hmm? They seem to be quite tough opponents. Now it's your turn to act.” Ekila casually spoke while looking down on the enemy before him.
As if without giving the three team members a chance to take a swing that had just returned to tread the ground, the alchemist, Aghena immediately directed the thread of his thorny plant wrapped around Ferdi's body.
On the other hand, Silua, the quadra mage, immediately directed his fire magic towards Krimson and his mage comrades.
“Senior!”
The mage from Team Shadow Park also took part in a gameover from the arena following his other two colleagues.
“Akkkkkh!”
“Kak Ferdi!”
Krimson immediately voiced Ferdi's name as he watched his senior roar in pain from the alchemist's deadly poison.
Krimson tries to save his senior, but too late, Ferdi gameover first from the arena, leaving Krimson alone in the midst of the enemy.
“No! The senior! Fucking green lady!” Krimson shouted furiously at Aghena.
Krimson lunges to reach and attack Aghena even though incisions after deadly poisonous incisions from the plant continue to hit her skin.
Beyond all the members of Team Lost Child's expectations, Krimson was able to withstand all the deadly poison attacks of the Aghena plant until Krimson actually reached Aghena's neck and slit her.
For the first time, Team Lost Child lost its members. And that's all thanks to Krimson.
Aghena gameover from the match.
Kalora the swordsmen and Goruth the assassin were about to charge towards Krimson, but Krimson immediately threw the vial of poison that was no less deadly than the poison of Aghena.
Luckily for them, Kalora and Goruth survived thanks to Silua's deft protection through his barrier.
However, without them knowing, Krimson had managed to escape the tight guard of the twin dragon and managed to reach the position of Ecila.
From the bleachers, Luca immediately widened his eyes, seeing the events that have been awaited so far that one day there will be players who are able to attack Ecila to prove whether Ecila is like Alice in the legend which is a battle tamer.
But on the other hand, Luca was also worried about Krimson who had been seriously injured by the poison plant of Aghena, but his fighting spirit had not dimmed at all due to his anger.
“Hiyaaaat!”
“Shak.”
Krimson flung his dagger towards Ekila, but beyond Krimson's expectations, Ekila kicked the dagger with her leg until the metal part was broken in half.
“Trung tang.”
The sound of the Krimson metal dagger was clearly heard as it hit one of the dragon's scales very hard.
Too bad, the poison part of the dagger was successfully avoided by Ekila, or Ekila had indeed planned it first and looked carefully at the poisonous dagger attack from Krimson and avoided it.
Kalora and Goruth break in to attack Krimson.
The clang sound of a dagger with a combination of sword and dagger clashing against each other instantly sounded.
Krimson managed to match the combined attack of the swordsmen and the assassin, but he was caught off guard by a kick from behind by Ecila that hit the back of his back.
“Tuk tratak.”
Krimson rolled three times, was knocked back in front of the tamer which finally proved to be able to really fight with his bare hands, just like Alice in the legend.
Kalora and Goruth advanced back towards Krimson. With a dagger in his right hand, Krimson dispelled the sword of the swordsmen, while with the dagger in his left hand, he dispelled the fellow dagger belonging to the assassin.
“You think I'll just give up here?! I... I will make sure to fulfill my promise to my team to bring them to the final!”
With a burning spirit, more power emerged from within Krimson's body.
But unexpectedly all the spectators and players, a new skill suddenly appeared in the arena of the match.
All the spectators instantly cheered in admiration because this was of course a rare occurrence. New skills usually appear along with increased experience. But as is known that there is no increase in experience like in the game when players compete in a special virtual arena that connects all kinds of game genres.
But ignoring that impossibility, Krimson acquired his new skill.
Skill: poisonous sweat vapour gusts
Immediately around Krimson appeared a green mist coming out of his body through all the pores of his skin.
Goruth manages to evade, but Krimson manages to get Kalora's collar off guard so accidentally poisoned and weakened.
Krimson then stabbed him quickly through his dagger full of poison right into the heart area. Kalora also play the gameover in the arena.
Unfortunately, in the final seconds, Krimson forgot that one more person had disappeared nearby. It was compounded by his concentration being dispersed by Silua's extremely disturbing fire attack.
Then unexpectedly, in a completely silent and very fast step, Goruth reappeared behind him and stabbed directly into Krimson's heart from behind.
The assassin showed his fangs in the last seconds and Krimson as the last surviving participant of Team Shadow Park was killed in the arena so that the victory was absolute belonging to Team Lost Child.
