I had originally had an uneasy feeling ever since the figure of the mysterious young man said something to me.
As soon as I attended the award-winning professional e-sport vrmmorpg tournament held a few days later, my bad feeling was confirmed by the announcement of the tournament committee.
“Next is a list of candidates selected to compete for 4 places as representatives of Indonesia in the vrmmorpg e-sport tournament in the international arena.”
The systematics of the matches have apparently changed and this time the representatives of each country are not represented by a particular team but through an individual representative mechanism, especially only 4 places available.

Unexpectedly, no representative was selected at the Gold Tree even though they were able to break through to the last eight, while the Missile Team who, despite failing to break through the last eight, had at least one representative.
More important than that, Kak Kania and Kak Bento as the core team in the team were not selected and even Senior Areka and Egi who were in the selected reserve team. It was natural because during the implementation of the last eight competition, Kak Kania and Kak Bento never played. Because it also seems that Senior Areka and Egi feel very guilty to both seniors.
On the other side, it looks like Senior Asario is very satisfied with that and came to me immediately while saying more or less ‘we finally have a chance to be able to duel officially so let's take advantage of this opportunity with preferably’ or something like that.
Well, it's not that I don't understand Senior Asario's feelings. Of course I am also happy since I once again had the opportunity to challenge many strong opponents.
But suppose that you've seen a cold cola drink right in front of your eyes and think it's served to you, but apparently it was a gift that Aunt Judith had provided to anyone who would help her cook, well, that sense of disappointment could not be expressed by words.
You still have to fight to get what is in front of your eyes when you think a little more is in the hands.
Then then, the rules of the game are quite complicated which is basically a one on one duel for points where the losing player will give a certain number of points to the participant who beat him.
Why I call it complicated is because the coin system makes the head bobble.
But if the opposite happens, then the participant with the upper rank must donate his points to the winner of a minimum of 75 % from the difference of the two points participants with the note that the points donated also do not exceed 50 % of the total points at that time.
Moreover, with an odd number of participants, there will certainly be participants in each turn who will not get opponents to compete.
The selection of the opponent participants began after a short break. Who would have thought that the determination of the top 4 contestants who will represent Indonesia in the vrmmorpg e-sport competition at the international level would also be held on the same day after the candidate list was announced. An unexpected situation suddenly occurred.
But of course I am a standby player, always ready whenever and wherever it is to be told to compete.
Apparently, the determination of the opponent is done through direct selection by participants with a higher ranking. Unfortunately, I only ranked second on that list and it was Kak Malik as the first ranked participant who did the opponent selection at the first opportunity.
However, who would have guessed that Kak Malik would actually be interested in fighting the 12th ranked participant, Kak Krein. Is it possible because they are fellow swordsmen? In that case, isn't Senior Asario a more worthy opponent? But if you remember from the personality of Kak Malik, at most he just wanted to find a new opponent that he had never met.
But I think that Kak Malik's decision is less worthy as a player if he is aiming for a victory about to get the maximum score, the opponent with a higher rank will obviously contribute better points.
For that reason, I ended up choosing Senior Asario as my opponent in addition to seeming Senior Asario herself desperately wants an official fight against me.
Then later, since Senior Asario has obtained his opponent that is me, the next participant to choose the opponent was Kak Glen and he chose Kak Brian as his opponent because he seemed to want to prove who the greatest fire magician was between the two of them.
The first match was decided.

Senior Asario directly exerted her triple dimensional trajectory slash as soon as it faced me. However, I who had seen the data of how Malik avoided it, was able to make the same move and epicly dodged every slash of Senior Asario's black aura coming from those three directions.
It was quite difficult to keep a distance from expert swordsmen like Senior Asario plus the size of the dagger and sword which were basically different gave me a loss. But nevertheless, the, it was immediately overcome by a combination of rope trapper and kunaiku attacks that made Senior Asario lost focus and then I used his negligence to shorten the distance in a short time and defeated him through a poison slash.
I learned a lot from Chika that the main flaw for swordsmen who rely too much on her aura in both attacking and defending was her vigilance against poison.
Yes, the same poison as used by Chika in our previous amateur match, the hysteria bacteria variant 707 of the hell melon. Of course for a seasoned player like Senior Asario, such poison did not instantly finish him off, but it had been quite enough to temper him.
Since Senior Asario was no longer able to protect her body with her aura, she was naturally an easy target for an assassin like me.
“Fuck you! Basic cheats by using poison!”
Senior Asario seemed to be dissatisfied with his match. I, who felt guilty, promised him another time to fight him honestly and fairly through the sword.
It seems that Senior Asario has forgotten who I really am. I'm basically an assassin who basically does fight with cunning.
But this match will of course be a very valuable lesson for Senior Asario since I showed him his fatal weakness that I observed lately.
So by stressing to that point, my guilt towards him who misunderstood her battle intentions which apparently wanted a knight's fight was somewhat lessened.
