The Newbie Is Too Strong's
59. Zombies and the Land of Death (3)

Six party members, Areka, Raia, Heisel, Dimitri, Keporin, and Lia formed a defense line with a combination of 2:1:2:1. Areka and Raia as shielder are in the front row, followed by Heisel behind him as the main attacker, then behind again there is Dimitri on the left wing and Keporin on the right wing, respectively, then in the back row there is Lia as support.

“Hey, friends! Isn't this the ideal combination? There are tankers, DPS, and even a support.” Said Raia break the silence when they will soon face the zombie crowd.

“Yeah, but compared to assassins, I'd rather if our DPS is a swordsmen anyway.” Areka.

“Hey, Son. Don't underestimate us assassins. We are not inferior to the swordsmen.” Heisel immediately reversed Areka's insults with cynical comments and moved forward to initiate the attack.

Areka was speechless in a daze at how could an NPC reply to her comment. Can it all be computer designed? Areka could only tilt her head in confusion.

“Slash, slash, slash.” Assassin-style special dagger Heisel attacked the zombies fiercely. It seemed that the zombies were immediately pushed back by the overpowering power of the guild assassin's leader.

But on the left and right sides, the zombie crowd managed to interrupt, passing through the Heisel attack area.

It was then that Lia cast her buff spell to raise the status of the party's resistance to the death element.

“Prang! Prang!”

Areka repels the zombie attack from the left area, while Raia ignites it from the right area. Dimitri swiftly took the gap between Areka to attack the zombies trying to penetrate the defenses on the left wing.

But on the right wing, when Keporin wanted to do the same thing as Dimitri did, Raia too advanced to forget its function as a tanker.

“Hey, stupid! Back off! Your position is too far!” Areka immediately reprimanded Raia who came out of her position.

But some zombies have gone wild on the right side which is not enough just Keporin someone who handles it.

But there was Lia, the battle healer, who immediately pulled out her fist to repel the zombies that had managed to get into the defensive line. The situation finally returned to the starting point.

For a moment, they were fighting in a party maintaining the same formation, thanks to the fact that there were no power users among the zombies. All of them were still zombies with corpses belonging to ordinary people.

Elsewhere, Luca immediately ran back into the village.

After leaving the party outside the fort, I ran as fast as I could to find Brother Andra. Thank goodness Brother Andra is still in his place so I can easily find him.

“Hei, Luca! Where have you been?! Let's find the necromancer immediately to end your mission.” Brother Andra shouted at me as he saw me from a distance.

We rushed to the location indicated by the search for Andra. To my surprise, it turned out that the necromancer had been hiding inside the village.

Finally, I saw the necromancer's disgusting figure. I could see that his face, arms, and maybe his whole body were covered with pus. It's disgusting that his skin melts from the pus that's spread all over his body. That is the price for those who are willing to sell their souls to the devil in search of immortality.

I saw the necromancer smiling with our arrival. Or it may not be a smile, it just looks like a smile because almost all the skin in the mouth has been peeled so that it can no longer hide the jaw.

I grit my teeth in anger. How could he summon a death realm being to this place of living people? But I went back to remembering Uncle Heisel's advice. Stay calm against your opponent. Tranquility is the key to an assassin's victory. Abolish the killing intent then in an instant kill the opponent without a sound. That's the principle we hold as an assassin.

“You're ready to deal with it, Luca?” Brother Andra asked me.

I replied in silence, just a nod.

I ran towards the necromancer. However, a few zombies appeared to drive my way. But what is this? Miss Maryam, Mr Sardi, Dik Angga, and even up to the first big body Guard I met in the village? Why can all these people be zombies? So ruthless. Very cruel!

It's all because of this goddamn insect that's in front of me! Either way, I have to exterminate him! You're the only one I won't forgive.

Luca's left eye immediately turned red while the right turned blue. From his hand an instantaneous dagger was replaced by his crescent moon weapon. With tears, Luca slashed through the corpses of the villagers who for half an hour had been acquainted with him with the friendly nature of the villagers.

Luca's heart wailed, unable to see the cruel end of the innocent villagers. But Luca was well aware, they would suffer more if they were left like that. The dead must be sent back to the resting place of the dead. A dead existence in the living realm would only bring doom to those around him.

Luca danced in a roar tore through the body of every zombie that had come upon him. His moon scythe glistened in elegant black as if to depict the contents of Luca's wounded heart. Luca endured the pain of sending those lost souls back to his realm because that was his duty as a fighter. With his crescent moon dance, he ended the perverted lives of the villagers' zombies that were resurrected.

Now all that was left before him was the necromancer Philtory who was temporarily confined by Andra's binding skill.

Luca gave a sharp gaze without the slightest hesitation to kill the disgusting creature before him. Although the status window above the target's head still reads that his race is human, for Luca he is no longer human. He was no longer human when he could ruthlessly end the lives of innocent people without feeling the slightest guilt.

He was like a monster to be exterminated.

“Crang.” Luca raised his moon scythe to slash the vile creature before him.

But nevertheless, the,

“Fruuuush!” The despicable creature instantly turned into smoke then quickly seeped out towards the land of death.

Apparently Philtory has used her skill ‘emergency return’.

Luca was also unable to contain his anger.

“Bu Maryam, Mr. Sardi, Dik Angga, Pak Keeper with big body, friends of other villagers, sorry. I can't avenge you.” Luca's tears fell dripping that was increasingly rushing to wet the ground where he stood.

A moment later, the innocent young man roared in a roar full of sadness.

“Hei, Luca. They were all NPCs. Why do you react like that?”

Luca's heart was also sickened by Andra's comments that even though Luca was well aware Andra did not mean to be evil in his comments, it was just their differences in perception of how the NPC actually was.

Leaving Andra who did not understand how she felt, Luca lost his composure, ignored her uncle's advice, and ran quickly to the land of death.

You just learned the skill ‘fast steps despair’

With this skill, you can run at a maximum speed of 500 m/s for 3 minutes

Just a few milisekons, Luca had passed with the other six party members. However, Luca had not been able to pass through five others besides Lia, time seemed to stop. Lia could clearly see Luca's back.
