The Soul that is swallowed

They gasped in shock as they heard the voice of the shadow King rising from the destruction of his body. Slowly the wisps of light coalesced and formed the shadow King's gigantic body. But this time it looks more different than before. Looks like the King of the shadows has prepared something to show Valencia.

"You're pretty persistent as well apparently. Really, you make me want to laugh" Valencia said with a smile.

Valencia was planning to fly up again, but he realized there was indeed something strange about the shadow King. Valencia paused his intention to fly, he decided to watch for a while what the next shadow King would do.

"Looks like you forgot about something, how can you forget the main reason you're angry?"

The shadow King's gaze headed towards the portal used to house the human soul. Valencia soon realized, he knew that at that time the King of shadows was trying to make use of the human souls he had gathered.

"You can't use them! If you still insist on using the human soul for your power, then you're dealing with me!" valencian shouted filled with deep anger.

"Haha." This was the last time Valencia heard the strange laughter of the shadow King. "You won't be able to stop me, I will become strong if I swallow this entire human soul."

The shadow king stomped his staff three times to the ground. The surface of the ground once again shook violently, the rumbling sounds from above the sky boomed, the weather was also suddenly cold. The conditions at that time were very unfounded, Valencia stuck among the greed of the King of the shadows.

Not long after, the entire souls gathered within the six portals scattered at each particular point in the Alegra Empire were absorbed by the Shadow King. All of those souls were absorbed away without any residue until it filled the shadow King's body.

The shadow King's body showed a different reaction as well as a far different form. His body became bigger than before as well as the strength in his body drastically increased. It was all thanks to the existence of the human soul that he swallowed in order to increase his strength.

"Hahaha, that's delicious. The human soul is the best. This way my powers increase and you will no longer be able to defeat me."

Valencia bowed, his anger undeniable. The girl was so angry that it felt like she wanted to destroy the Alegra Empire with her current hand.

The shadow king had already crossed the line of Valencia patience. The girl must figure out the next way to make the King of the shadows die and disappear without leaving any more traces on the face of this earth.

"Hey, you've exhausted my patience. Quickly you give back all the human souls you've eaten!" press Valencia in anger.

"Restore this human soul? Nah! I won't do it because this is the source of my power—"

Valencia made a long-range attack, he slammed into the shadow King's body until it was dragged backwards. His emotions never muffled, innocent human souls became victims of the greed of the shadow King.

"I told you to give it back! Why don't you take what I tell you?!"

Valencia once again lunged closer to the shadow King's body then struck the shadow King's body until it bounced back. Valencia was unable to control his emotions, he only wanted the souls to return to their respective bodies.

"Are we okay to let Valencia sink in his own anger?" ask Xeros.

"Let's see, let's see it in a minute. I'm sure his anger will subside when the shadow King is on the brink of his death."

Valencia suddenly came to a halt in the air, there was one thing that was now troubling his mind. Both of his beads were centered on a collection of rays from the human souls that were now behind the shadow King's body.

"Why did you stop? Did you finally realize it? If you attack me recklessly and kill me, these souls will also die with me. You'd better think about it" said the King of shadows rising again from Valencia's blow.

Valencia let out a long sigh, he was stuck at an unexpected situation.

Valencia nodded, indeed that was what should be his main mind burden right now. However, in between it all, Valencia's gaze was suddenly engulfed in darkness, his breathing choked, as well as his body drowning in black smoke.

"VALENCIA!" Everyone was screaming for Valencia, but it was too late. They were late to save Valencia.

Suddenly before them appeared a portal out of nowhere. One by one the magic creatures came out of the portal. The six of them were finally preoccupied by the presence of the magic creatures.

Meanwhile, Valencia entered into a room that was in a room of darkness created by the shadow King. The enemy seems to be happy because it managed to bring Valencia to a place like this.

"Now no one can find you here. You won't be able to get out of this place forever."

The voice of the King of shadows roared in the room. Valencia is looking for where the shadow King is. Unfortunately, he could not find it anywhere.

"You're challenging me? What if I destroy this place? Oh yes, if I destroy then your body will be partially destroyed because this place is part of your body. That's right, isn't it?"

Valencia grinned, with no fear or uneasiness in his heart. Now that Valencia is getting mad, even the shadow King will not be able to stop it.

"You want to trap me with a cheap trick like this? Looks like you're wrong. Even though I had died over eight hundred years ago, it did not mean that I had become weaker. Ah, should I mention that I'm getting stronger now?"

Valencia smiled slanted, looking at his face so scary. Anyone would not be able to stop him now.

"You-you! What are you gonna do? Stopit! Don't be reckless!"

The shadow king immediately panicked to receive a bluff from Valencia. He had no idea what the girl would do, but he was sure that Valencia was thinking of a plan that was pretty crazy.

"Let's start, shadow King."

Valencia flicked his fingers, at the same time the space shook violently. Soon this room will be destroyed by his actions.

"No! Don't do that!"

DUAARR!

Once again the sound of loud explosions adorned the night sky. Valencia blew up the dark room until it caused part of the shadow King's body to be destroyed again. It was fortunate that the effects of Valencia power did not hit the souls gathered at the core of the shadow King's body.

"Bad! How dare you do this to me" the wrath of the shadow King.

"The way you can still talk, it seems you have quite a strong endurance," Valencia said, carving a creepy smile.

Valencia was still busy thinking of a way to bring out the human souls trapped inside.

'How do I get them out of the shadow King's body? I can't make an attack blindly. I have to think of another safer way, ' Valencia thought.
