Intruders

Valencia remained silent in the room, sitting on the edge of the balcony, bending his legs. The voices he did not want to hear were buzzing repeatedly in his head. Valencia is back to remembering his miserable past.

"You have to be the perfect boy!"

"What's? You want to rest?! You've only been studying for five hours. I told you, you can't rest before you master the book!"

"My daughter is smart, she's the most perfect piece of work I've created. It's not in vain that I endure the pain of that crazy experiment."

Valencia pressed deeply in a voice that continuously alternated into his brain. The faces of the people who were the source of her suffering in the past endlessly passed by in her memory.

Valencia muttered trying to dig his memory deeper. Along with a humming sound in his head, Valencia forced himself to stay focused thinking about the problems that were happening.

"I found no access to the Mihovil continent. If it's a devil lab, then the nest is in Mihovil. What really happened there? I haven't heard from Mihovil in over eight hundred years."

Valencia rose from his seat, standing on the edge of the balcony looking up at the night sky.

"Are you guys okay in there? You're still alive, aren't you? High-level magicians like you are of course still alive today. I will find a way to go to the Mihovil continent. I'm sure my death wasn't an accident."

"For the time being, I'll find out about the devil lab and the shadow wizard group. I had to break his tail before it spread even wider."

The next morning, Valencia came to meet Henzo in his study. Valencia knew Henzo didn't sleep all night taking care of the problems that were troubling the public.

"Thank God that I'm resting, I'm actually here to bring you something."

Valencia put a sword handle on Henzo's table.

"Swielding apprentice? Why'd you bring me the handle of a sword?" ask Henzo.

"Did you forget? I promised to make you a sword master. This was not an ordinary sword hilt but rather a rare magic artifact. Use this on Dad's sword and see what kind of reaction it's going to have" Valencia said.

Tired in Henzo's face, Valencia brought him a gift that surprised him.

"really? How to use it?"

"The devil's lab is from the continent of Mihovil, their existence has been ruled out by the Great Witch, Klarybell. However, lately they are showing movement again. They kidnap girls and kill other people using bloodsucking creatures."

Even though Valencia said so, it seems they still doubt Valencia. In the end, Henzo still had to reopen his voice convincing them.

"Can't you trust my daughter? Or are any of you able to take care of this matter? If you doubt Valencia, you'd better die by the blood-sucking creature" Henzo said in a threatening tone.

The nobles were frightened because Henzo was suppressing them. Then they chose to trust Valencia.

"Because you have trusted me, I beg for her cooperation to help the success of my plan. I need you guys to tighten the surveillance of the surrounding area" concluded Valencia.

They agreed to the words of Valencia until finally the meeting was completed. Valencia came straight out of the room after Abraham closed the meeting.

As Valencia walked in the corridor of the palace, at the end of the street there was Adarian waiting for him. It seems like the man wants to talk to Valencia.

"Valencia—"

Adarian fell silent, the girl passed him by without even glancing at him. Valencia deliberately ignored him, considering the pain he had been incising all this time made him sick of having to deal with Adarian again.

At that very moment, from the intruder's storage bag came the sound of vibrations. Valencia checked into it. Apparently the vibration was coming from the communication crystal.

"Why did you respond so long to my call? Hows it? Are you done putting the creature on the border?"

A familiar voice that had not been heard for a long time again buzzed in the ears. Valencia squeezed the handle of the crystal, remembering the face behind the sound.

"Hey, Nolen! Apparently you're turned on again. Who brought you to life?" valencia asked in a cold and sharp tone.

"Huh? Who'sisthis? What did you do to my subordinates?"

Valencia smiled arrogantly, the man was the man who conducted experiments on him.

"You forgot me, Nolen. It's me, Klarybell, the most perfect creature you've ever created."
