A long night passed, and the next day Valencia got some people to work under him. However, Valencia forgot, in the residence of the Archduke Calestine there was not a single woman who worked here. The workers were filled with men, even the valencian personal servant was a man.

"Are there really no maids here?" The question was repeatedly asked by Valencia.

"Sorry, Miss, the Archduke forbids the employment of women because in this residence there is often bloodshed."

"There used to be a number of female servants who worked, but many of them resigned because they could not stand it and some of them were killed for trying to tempt the Archduke."

Such is the explanation of the male servants, they are professionals in their work. Although most men have a brash character, but they respect Valencia as Miss in this house.

"If the problem is so, yes. At least you guys worked hard and didn't irritate me" Valencia said.

Then, not long after, a knight came to Valencia to inform him that Henzo was calling him to his room.

"What's up, Uncle? Is there anything urgent?"

Henzo looked at Valencia for a split second before starting to speak up.

"When are you going to call me Uncle? You must call me Father" demanded Henzo.

Valencia turned his eyes away for a moment.

'Dad? Yeah, I don't think there's any harm. What can I do, I should call him Dad, ' Valencia thought.

Valencia took a deep breath, it was actually quite difficult for him to call Henzo father.

"Dad," said Valencia very slowly and full of doubts.

"What's? I can't hear it. Try saying it louder" said Henzo.

"Dad! I'm calling you Dad! Now please tell me, what is your purpose in calling me this early in the morning?"

Henzo flashed a sweet smile, he loved to hear Valencia calling him Father.

"There's been some trouble lately. I called you here to talk about this."

"What's the problem so serious?"

"Yes, this is more serious than you think. Over the past week or so cases of missing person reports have increased dramatically. The total number of people who disappeared reached forty-five people. And strangely enough, all of the victims were virgin girls and never married" Henzo said.

"It's very strange. Did this man's loss only happen in Alegra?"

Henzo shook his head. "No, other empires and kingdoms especially the Sergian Empire had lost over seventy girls. This case can't be solved easily because the perpetrator erased his trail."

In the middle of the explanation, Arian came to bring a new report to Henzo.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, Your Honor, I just got some new case reports. On the outskirts of the Alegra region, a number of human bodies have been found in very bad conditions. The blood on their bodies dried up mysteriously."

Arian showed a portrait of a human corpse found by the knight. Valencia and Henzo were shocked to see the shape of the body.

"There is no way the culprit is a human, could there be a creature that deliberately sucks their blood to dry?" henzo argues.

"The closest possibility is that, Your Majesty. However, what kind of creature can suck human blood until it dries up?"

Valencia was still lulled inside his complicated mind, this was no longer a small matter that could be solved casually.

"Allow me to take care of this matter, I will investigate it to the fullest" said Valencia.

"All right, I'll leave it to you. Remember to be careful in resolving it because we don't know when danger will come."

Afterwards, Valencia exited Henzo's room, his premonition worsening when he received the report. Soon Valencia wrote a letter to Sammy.

"Send this letter to doctor Sammy, he's now in the capital's hospital," Valencia orders one of the knights.

"Good, Miss. I'll send this letter."

The knight rushed to the hospital, while Valencia remained silent for a moment in his room.

"They dried up their blood, and the most disturbing thing here was the discovery of the one-eye symbol on their wrists. This emblem I've seen, but where?"

Valencia continued to dive into his memories, but he still could not remember them clearly. However, Valencia believes that he had seen the emblem on the Mihovil continent. An emblem radiates distress, so Valencia must find out more about it.

"I've come, Valencia."

Finally, Sammy showed himself, he arrived in a very fast time.

"Bye, Sammy! You finally came. Something is going on in the outskirts of Alegra. You must have heard the problem, right?"

"Right, I've heard it." Sammy sat himself on the couch. "What kind of creature do you think could do such a thing?"

Valencia shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know either, which is why I need your help right now."

"What should I do?"

"I plan to go to the outskirts of the territory directly. I'm sure without me telling you to do an investigation into the body, but we need to go to the scene directly to check it out. You should accompany me, for I'm sure there are at least a few clues left."

"All right, let's go."

Without a long wait, Valencia and Sammy set out together for the outskirts of the Alegra Empire. Upon arrival there, the stinking scent of human carcasses instantly seeped into their sense of smell. They had to wear a mask to prevent the foul scent from getting into the nose.

"The situation is very bad, the place is almost flat on the ground" said Sammy.

"Maybe the creature that makes them like this his body has a giant size."

Sammy nodded in agreement, he also thought the same as Valencia.

"Well then, let's split up."

They split up against each other, this time only the two of them did the investigation. On the other side of the place, Valencia finds a wing piece of a creature he has not known.

"What are these wings?" Valencia groped the wing. "These are the wings of the creatures that suck from the victims. I'm sure it's because there's a residual smell of blood on his wings."

Meanwhile, Sammy is still looking for traces or evidence that may be left behind. Then he accidentally found a piece of black cloth. In the piece of cloth there is a picture of one eye and below it there is a writing.

"Devil lab? Was this the mastermind of the chaos that was going on? I have to tell Valencia first before assuming anything."

Fifteen minutes passed and they ended their investigation. The two met again at their original place.

"Hows it? Did you find anything?" ask Valencia.

"Yes, what about you?"

Valencia showed Sammy the wing piece he found.

"I found this piece of wing, it's possible that the piece of wing was part of the body of a blood-sucking creature. Then you yourself found what?"

"I found this." Sammy showed the black cloth piece to Valencia. "On the surface of this cloth is a picture of one eye and below it is the writing of the devil's lab."

Valencia widened in shock, his body frozen and at a loss for words to speak.

"What's? Devil's lab?"

"Yes, devil's lab? What is it that makes you so surprised? Don't you know something about the devil lab?"

Valencia nodded quickly. "No, it's not that. Now let's go back, the sky's getting darker."

Valencia's expression looked bad, the devil's lab was too shocking for him. The girl ran towards her horse, she spurred a step towards the residence of the Archduke Calestine.

Arriving at the mansion, Valencia immediately returned to his room without greeting Henzo first. Valencia's attitude made Sammy feel astonished.

"Sammy, where have you been?" frintz asked who was also in the Archduke Calestine mansion.

"I went with Valencia to investigate the mysterious deaths of residents of the suburbs" Sammy replied.

"Where is Valencia? I didn't see it."

"He went straight inside, after the investigation, he got really weird."

"Is that so, is there something you found there?"

Sammy invites Frintz to go to a quieter place, he will explain it there later.

"I found this. Can you find out about devil's lab?" Sammy handed a piece of cloth bearing the devil's lab to Frintz.

"Wait on! You said devil lab?"

"True, devil's lab. It was written on the piece of cloth. Do you know anything about the devil lab?"

Frintz was silent staring at the piece of cloth, his extensive knowledge of world history must have known about the devil lab. It was no stranger in his head.

"Yes, I know. But, before it's better for you to gather the others, I'll explain later."

Sammy calls Reibert, Leano, Xeros, Rexid, and Ivanov, who are on leave from their priestly work. They arrived very quickly at the residence of the Archduke Calestine. The atmosphere around me felt quite cold. The seven of them gathered in a space that had been provided.

"What are you collecting us?" ask Rexid.

"You've heard about the mysterious deaths of the inhabitants of the suburbs, haven't you? Well, Valencia and Sammy have done an investigation and found some evidence of the existence of blood-sucking creatures. One of the most compelling pieces of evidence is this."

Frintz put a piece of cloth bearing the emblem of the devil's lab into the middle of the table for everyone to see.

"What'sthis? It's just a regular piece of cloth" Xeros said.

"That's why I gathered you here. Look at the emblem on the other, this is the emblem of the devil lab. To my knowledge, the devil lab is an organization that conducts dangerous experiments."

"They used to act on the plain of the Mihovil continent. However, their existence was annihilated by Klarybell. Devil labs are famous for their sadism in conducting experiments. Do you guys know? Klarybell is the result of a devil's lab experiment" Frintz said.

The explanation was quite easy to digest, but it seemed that the people who received the explanation were surprised instead of playing.

"Klarybell is the result of a devil's lab experiment? Are you serious?" ask Leano.

"Klarybell holds a grudge against his parents and the devil's lab. He destroyed everything, even one empire was lost due to his magic explosion. Since then, Klarybell has lived through the trauma of torture and cast her as a cold-hearted witch" explains Frintz.

Frintz seemed to know very well the life of Klarybell. It left others amazed by the breadth of Frintz's insight.

"Awhile, I'd like to ask. Where'd you get that much info on Klarybell's life? To my knowledge, there's no detailed explanation of Klarybell in any book" asked Reibert.

"Ah, that's what I got from an old hand-written book. Surprisingly, the book disappeared after I read its contents. What is clear now if it is proven that our enemy is the devil's lab, then our opponent is not a simple opponent" said Frintz.

"You said the devil lab was an organization that conducted dangerous experiments. In that case, it's very likely that the girl who was reported missing was part of the devil's lab work" Reibert said.

"The devil wants to make them experimental materials. I think it makes sense to combine all the problems that exist today" Sammy said.

The others also agreed to their opinion, there was no one to blame other than the devil lab.

"I will discuss this matter with the Archduke and Valencia. Later we will wait for an order to act further" Frintz concluded.
